Thanks for starting the Strategy thread, Chamomile*!

Reluctantly, I am in on the two usual farms (this one and sewinglady's).

Mahjongg this time around!?!?! I think I'm going to have to play a game before I figure out this "stamina" thing.

wow:pI am not a Mahjong player and it all looks a little confusing to my brain....so I will sit this one out!:music:
BUT Thanks to Chamomile* for the great post and for the time you put here to help us farmers doing events! Your effort is much appreciated! Good luck to you all doing this event and I hope you all reach your goals!
Edit: I have just found a windows version of Mahjong and am up to level 10:music:
So I now understand that concept BUT I will still sit this one out!

The 2-hour crop is by far the best choice, if you don't require sleep.

Thank you @Chamomile* I'm so in and I love mahjong.
    Good luck to everyone participating.

Thanks Chamomile* for the numbers. I agree with @RebaFC on the 2h event crops if players are using Jack O' Gift for their harvests and if you have time to harvest them!

I couldn't find where the Gear Coins can be won by players, so my guess is they're in the gift tiles... Good luck everyone!

Thank you very much, Chamomile, for deciphering the event for us!

I'm used to play a daily challenge of mahjong that comes with my Windows, which is very simple. This event presents a rather

complicated version of it (at least to my brain, lol!)o_O Besides, it requires hard work and tons of resources

However, it's good to have new mechanics coming up, so i'll give it a go.:p

    Wish everyone good luck!

Thanks @Chamomile* for the kick-off. I love to play Mahjong and will definitely give this event a try. I hope the event/mini-game is not as complicated as the FSQ looks.
@Nordais, good to see you posting again and hope everything is alright with you.

Does this mean we can use any of the crops, or all of them as time allows? I hope so as I first thought we needed to grow 140k plus crops in total! :p

I'm sort of in as I love Mahjong and play every day but whether I will find the time towards the end of the event, who knows. I will be in one place for the next four days after today so I can make a good start on it ... in theory! :music:
Good luck all and hi to Nordais, glad to see you here, hope everything is well with you and yours. ;)

Thanks so much, Chamomile. Truly a work of art (literally!) that you have given us, but I shall give this a skip.

I'm just beginning my day on this side of the globe and before going to sleep yesterday, looked at the FAQ. I am familiar with Majhong, but I'm content with the events I've recently done, and we're getting closer to family visits and I don't want to be tied to the clock for events. It's a skip for me...good luck to all attempting it and I'll be looking forward to reading your comments. Wishing all a blessed day.

Yes, we can use any of the event crops to play. Since we need 66k of the 2h event crop and 50k from the 4h event crop (logically it should be 33k - half of the 2h), it's way better to do the 2h event crop. If you're planning on using Jack O' Gift and/or farm wheel bonuses, it makes more sense to use the 2h crop to use those bonuses as much as possible! :music:xD

Looks complicated. I miss the Dutch forum to be able to read it in my own language.

I don't participate in this event because I don't understand this minigame and it's too complicated, I haven't missed any event for a long time, it makes me sad.

Thanks for all the work doing the chart.

I will play as much as possible because we will be traveling starting Saturday and get back home in about 9 days. Not too easy to play on a phone any more like it used to be.

The mini-games are mahjongg. Why don't you try it today with the free game BP gives all of us? I hate to see you sit this one out.

Why is no one considering the 8 hour crop? And can we mix it up and use some and some and some or must we choose ONE at the start and stick with it for two weeks? I haven't done anything yet...still on my first cuppa coffee.

SO much going on on the farms and in RL....aaaggghhhhh!

    Yes.

    Hi,

The mini-game is a puzzle-type game with pieces whose goal is to remove pieces from a game board on which they are stacked on several floors. "Free" pieces can only be removed in pairs of identical tiles (with the same image) if both pieces are free, by selecting them by clicking on both pieces. A piece is considered "free" (and can be selected) only if it is not covered by any other piece above it and is not blocked by other pieces on both sides (left and right).

In addition to the pieces with horror-themed images, there will be two other types of pieces:
Pieces with the image of a bow on a blue background contain secondary event rewards. When clicking on such a piece, if it is free, a random reward is sent to the event backpack, without the need to be combined with another piece.

The backpack is displayed on the left of the mini-game window. Initially, up to 3 rewards can be stored in the backpack, but 3 Backpack Upgrades can be purchased from the event shop, increasing the backpack capacity to a maximum of 6 rewards. If the backpack is full, no more rewards can be picked up from the game board until the backpack is emptied by clicking the Collect button, which will credit the rewards from the backpack to your inventory.

The other special piece on the boards is the one in the image above, the one with the rope. This piece appears when the game board is emptied from the lowest floor. By clicking on it, then paying with a Climbing Rope, you can move to another section of the cave (randomly) where another game board will be found.

The moves in the mini-game consume different amounts of stamina. The stamina is displayed on the right of the mini-game window. When you first access the mini-game, your stamina will be at the maximum level of 100. After consuming it, it can be increased by consuming Strong Coffee products, which can be obtained from the event store with star coins and can be consumed in the event window by clicking on the coffee cup image on the right. A Strong Coffee will increase stamina by 20 units.

Thank you for that video! @Chamomile* Since it's not just mahjong we have to do, there are several other steps involved with it as well, I'm still a little confused, but you are right, practice makes perfect.
