Disappearing badge in Edelweiss Valley

    Dear Mods, I hope I'm posting to the correct place for this question. I recently opened EV and crafted two badges. Today, I planned to use one to open the next land area in the NW, and the other badge to increase tree fruit storage. I believed each task required one badge.

    I began by clicking the owl to increase land. It indicated I needed one badge, and I clicked yes, but instead of opening four more plots, a blank yellow square with a red X popped up. I closed that and clicked again on the owl and a rectangle popped up showing three badges with numbers below each. I assumed it meant I fulfilled the requirement to use one badge to open the area, and selected Yes. When I went to the crafting area to use the other badge to increase fruit storage, it indicated I no longer have any badges. It would seem both my badges were used to open the next level of land.

    Could someone please check and let me know what I may have done wrong. I have read the FAQ, chatted with other experienced players, and expected a certain result, but understand there are issues with translation and meanings. I'd appreciate clarification for better understanding moving forward...and, if by some error/glitch, I have one badge left, it would be nice to have it returned! :D

    You have successfully used both badges. You've increased your playfield in Northern Woods, as well as have increased your fruit storage from 900 to 1200. Perhaps you had a display glitch, so please clear your browser cache and cookies and then log in again.

    Hi, Farmers.Almanac, Thank you so much for checking and letting me know what happened. I've a lot to learn and sincerely appreciate all the help received. I don't know how I also increased the fruit storage as I only remember clicking repeatedly to try and open the land. :p Mystery solved!

    Left a basket of freshly harvested apricots outside your door. :inlove:
