Farmerama's Secret Event

I got a question for the savy people who can explore the German/Romanian forums: should we get the first giver for 3 licences? I see there is a reset time for the Shop-o-Rama of just over 6h, will this giver dissapear and be replaced by something else? And after a few days, will we see a cloud row for it/them???

 

I'm still on my first cuppa coffee, so can someone explain how you see the rewards window? If I click the "harvest" symbol I get the item. If I click the little icon on the right I don't get the item, but a window opens. How is this fair?

Edited to add: Finally got enough caffeine in me...found the rewards...in with the "special" items you can buy with the orange farm coins.

I think I'm late to the party, so doubt I will be able to get even one of the givers since the reset is in 5 hours.

 

So, just got up and see this happening. When did it start and when does it end?

 

Hello - the conclusion in the German forum is: the timer is the standard timer for the monthy reset of the shop-o-rama. If the new secret event items will vanish at midnight or stay till?? nobody is the wiser - there is and will be no official information from BP - so the feedback.

first giver is cheaper - the second more expensive - as we have it also with e.g. pet playground areas a cost increase the more you buy - why? BP decided it this way... - and of course because players are greedy
I did buy the 3 licence giver - now I will see if I can gather enough licences for the second.

When did this start? I like the idea of 'pop-up-events' but how is it for the western time zone? I logged in only to find I have 4 hrs to play. It takes 3hrs to reset. There's no info outside of the forum!

Anyone knows why there are 2 versions of the same item?

@Nordais , nobody actually knows the details about this surprise event, so it's just a guess. Keeping this in mind, I have already bought the first giver. ​

Just like many other events, we can get a second set of givers... that's why I'm wondering if at the end there won't be a cloud row!

Thanks to all who have posted much needed info here. I have 6 licenses so I also went and bought the Cave Spy giver for 3 licenses
just to be on the safe side. I also was able to put it out on the Pet Playground. I managed to now be able to harvest all 4 at the same time so it is now figuring out how many of the "Hat drops" I can get to continue for as long as we can play! Again many

Well now we know the 'secret event' items in the shop are available for another 28 days. Perhaps this is going to be an ongoing game addition? Another way and possibly a new 'buy' item - the license?

 

The 28 days' timer is meant for Shop-o-Rama goods, not the special event (February has 28 days). Maybe it will be something like special weekend event(s)??!!

 

Yes i am aware of February being 28 days - the 'special event' items do not have a different time frame on them at the moment other than 'last chance'. So we must have 28 days to claim them. Otherwise what would be the point of presenting farmers with options that are unattainable? I think you perhaps misunderstood my comment.

 

But it may mean, that licenses can be used that long, but who knows how long we can harvest items to make licenses.

 

How can I go to Shop-o-RAMA?

 

Do we already have that "Dragula Parrot Nest" in game or it is possible to make it in Jack´s Shop?
If so, I don´t pay it...

 

It has been twice before as a reward for an event, this is another chance to get one more. You can't get them from Jack's shop.

Okay, this is a surprise! I was a little surprised when I found out yesterday, I wondered if it was an April Fool's joke. Then I remembered those times when our farms were turned upside down on April 1st. Congratulations, Farmerama team! It's a great surprise and seems to have excited everyone at a completely unexpected moment. Yes, let's see how long it will last after the harvest.

 

Drops have been good; managing to keep up with customer requests and now that collection of all four items are synced, I managed to get enough vouchers for both Spy Caves. I have one DP, so will see how long the event lasts and if I can collect enough chits for another. Wishing everyone a fun time. And thanks BP for a cute event...Lots of new stuff rolling out and this is one everyone can enjoy. Appreciate how everyone shared info to enable us to get off to a good start.

The last chance banner doesn't mean that things in the shop will dissapear in a month's time: ex the season's points in Shop-o-Rama will dissapear later today once the Season ends. Same for the Season points and token in the birthday event shop. Also the content in Shop-o-Rama is not updated each month, the three givers that can be found at the end of the "Special" tab have had the banner for some time now. The fact that the special event has its own currency, from my own personal view, is yet another point that this is not permanent (just remeber the Panda Token).
