This event requires players to build up skewers by making donations of event crops, event drops and barn inventory.

There are eight levels, each with a different amount of skewers needed to complete it.

There is no clear way to do this event, so many combinations exist that it is impossible to come up with numbers for this event.

    Event crop 1:Event crop 2:Event drop 1:Event drop 2:Event drop 3:
    Field Chopsticks

    Time: 9 hours

You will get these drops while harvesting your crops on the Main field only!

You have a medium chance of receiving 1 x Soy Sauce with each breeding process completed
    Ceramic Spoon

You will get these drops while harvesting your stables on the Green meadow only!

You have a medium chance of receiving 1 x Ceramic Spoon with each breeding process completed
    Wasabi Paste
    [IMG]
You will get these drops while harvesting your trees on the Magical Glade only!

You have a medium chance of receiving 1 x Wasabi Paste with each breeding process completed
Please note that the event drops can come from breeding and there will be a Happy Discount Day at the start of the event:

Starts: Thursday, 30th of April at 10:00 CEST (UTC+2)
Ends: Thursday, 30th of April at 18:00 CEST (UTC+2)

To get the cloud row, players mut complete 14 skewers (finish level 7) out of the 18 skewers to fully complete the event.

Level 1: create 2 skewers out of 3 (Yellow skewer/Red skewer/Dark pink skewer)
    Level 2: create 2 skewers out of 4 (Yellow skewer/Red skewer/Dark pink skewer/Brown Skewer)
    Level 3: create 3 skewers out of 5 (Yellow skewer/Red skewer/Dark pink skewer/Brown Skewer/Greem skewer)
Level 4: create 1 skewer out of 3 (Dark pink skewer/Brown Skewer/Greem skewer)
    Level 5: create 3 skewers out of 4 (Yellow skewer/Red skewer/Brown Skewer/Greem skewer)
    Level 6: create 2 skewers out of 5 (Yellow skewer/Red skewer/Dark pink skewer/Brown Skewer/Greem skewer)
Level 7: create 1 skewer out of 2 (Brown Skewer/Greem skewer)
    Level 8: create 3 skewers out of 5 (Yellow skewer/Red skewer/Dark pink skewer/Brown Skewer/Greem skewer)

    Five categories of skewers exist:

Yellow skewer: asks for Field Chopsticks, Soy Sauces and main land crops
Red skewer: asks for Field Chopsticks, Wasabi Pastes and main land tree fruits
Dark pink skewer: asks for Field Chopsticks, Ceramic Spoons and main land animals
Brown skewer: asks for Narutomaki Swirls, Wasabi Pastes and main land products
Green skewer: asks for Narutomaki Swirls, one of the event drops and level 1 & 2 breeding coloured animals

    Good luck everyone!

    EDIT:

Ceramic Spoons will only drop from stables and the Green Meadow as per the new FAQ update.

So much to process this morning! If you have an older computer be sure to read the technical section's new posts this morning as the upcoming Unity updates to the game may affect your ability to play Farmerama! I didn't know what all that gobbledegook meant, so I asked my DH to come read the messages. He says my computer is new (about 2 years old), running windows 11 and has a high end graphics card so I'm fine. Now I know why I spent beaucoup dinero on this laptop.

Okay, things I know: I want to do this event. I like these events. I wish the crops could be grown on more than the main field, but okey dokey. Now the question is can I do this entire event before SUNDAY? Because my MIL (who is still a force of nature and has continued to improve every day) made us reservations in Coeur d' Alene and we are taking them (DH is driving, taking my Maverick truck - think sardines in a can). Because MIL is jonesing to gamble. And who am I to say no, especially after all that's happened this year so far? So great gobs of green goo and propellers will be used and I will attempt to get 'er done by end of day Saturday. Okay, I can technically still farm once or twice a day in CdA, so tail up after Saturday is possible.

Thanks, Northy, for starting the strategy thread and drilling down on the FAQ!

Good luck to all who participate!

Ceramic Spoons will only drop from stables now on the Green Meadow as stated by the FAQ update... -.-

Yeah, will also aim at blating through the event in a short few days too! Time to use Jack O' Gift while MM is still open! :music:

Thanks so much Northy...despite my location, I am giving this a total skip...way too much going on in RL and my brain has too much to process, so I better stick with the 'real' thing.

Wish success to all participating...I'll send drops, but please do not return the favor since I am not doing this event :music:

    Dear fellow players!

What has been the shortest animal stable that you have used to get a Ceramic Spoon or DROP out of all 44 stables? I had a preview and now I have a 23h stable with power feed.

How many plants from both events plants are needed to get through the whole thing, doesn't it vary depending on the player's level or does it?

I'm pretty sure I've had Ceramic Spoons from Red Rabbits, but I do have my whole green meadow filled with animal stables, so I can't promise that they weren't from another stable that happened to finish at the same time. (I do have the most Ceramic Spoons out of the three drops, so I'm not overly concerned.)
I don't think it depends on the player's level, but it certainly depends on the choices you make:
You can find the requirements per skewer in the event info: https://board-en.farmerama.com/threads/rice-and-shine-ii.49672/ - The reason cracking the numbers this time is so complicated is that it depends on the skewers you decide to make, which tend to require either Field Chopsticks or Narutomaki Swirls & one of the drops (Wasabi Paste, Soy Sauce or Ceramic Spoons) alongside the crops/tree fruit/animals/products you choose.
So you might end up needing quite a few Field Chopsticks while someone else might end up using Nautomaki Swirls whenever they can. It's unlikely that everyone ends up building exactly the same Skewers.
    As Nordais pointed out, you do need 2/3 in L1, 2/4 in L2, 3/5 in L3, 1/3 in L4, 3/4 in L5, 2/5 in L6, 1/2 in L7 and 3/5 in L8.
(So without any claims that these are definitely correct and the only options:)
L1 300 FC (all options require them)
    L2 500 FC or 250 FC & 400 NS
    L3 600 FC, 400 FC & 500 NS or 200 FC & 1000 NS
    L4 675 FC or 1000 NS
    L5 210 FC & 300 NS or 420 FC & 150 NS
    L6 300 FC or 150 FC & 800 NS or 1600 NS
    L7 1800 NS
    L8 1350 FC or 900 FC & 1000 NS or 450 FC & 2000 NS
And that's just crops combinations, without considering the drops. If we put drops in it'd get even more complicated.
It's likely best to check the requirements for the exact path you plan to follow instead. :)

Hi have completed all 8 levels and made the 17 skewers.I have the CR up and running I just :inlove: the look and design of it! I cleared Mainland of everything but 4 Howies and 3 jumbo trees that I never take off and using SG, a jack-0-gift and 1x1s started with
Field Chopsticks I harvested them 2 times then put the Narutomaki swirl down for 2 harvests and kept going back and forth with that process. I had about 4,200 of the chopsticks and about 3,600 of the N swirl. On Green Meadow and Magic Glen I left both fields as they were, both have trees and pens and workshops so I got drops from those lands. But what really helped me, was the fact that we have a "Medium" chance of getting any of the 3 drops when you breed!:)so I filled the breeding house with the animals in 132 places, 2 times, and when I harvested them I got lots of drops! One harvest there was the baby boom, one harvest there was not BUT I reached my goal! I hope this helps some of you as I know we all farm and do events differently! Also when making your skewers you need to pick the ones that work best for your farm and what you already have in stock!;)
To any of my neighbors and friends I no longer need drops so please send to those that do! Thanks and good luck!

Got all the drops I needed from the Happy Discount Day yesterday so no need to turn my farm upside down for drops!

The baby farm as the cloud row, just missing one skewer to finish the event. The main farm went for the most expensive skewers and I'm missing some of the nori swirls but I'll be done today for sure (see SewingLady, it is possible to be done before Sunday ;)).

Working on it! Have to take MIL grocery shopping today, so slight detour.

Noticing that I'm needing a lot more of the 9 hour crop than the shorter timed crop so far.

Wish we didn't have the new wheel giver thing this weekend. A nice 200% wheel bonus would fix my farms right up.

I really love how the masterclass asks for 50 fish from MAINLAND right in the middle of all this.
