Helgrid's Odyssey

Helgrid is inviting us into her castle and this time around she added a second floor! This time, the event will last for two whole weeks:

Starts: Thursday, 25th of June at 14:00 CEST (UTC+2)
Ends: Wednesday, 8th of July at 22:00 CEST (UTC+2)

Keyweed Time: 5 hours and 30 minutes Gives (2x2): 220 EP Plantable on the Main field only!	Witch's Claw Time: 5 hours and 30 minutes Gives (2x2): 220 EP Plantable on the Green Meadow only!	Fairy Dust You will get these drops when harvesting your crops and trees on the main field and green meadow.	Dungeon Key Ingredients: 147 x Keyweed + 17 x Fairy Dust Time: 15 seconds It can be produced in the main and tropical mills - Events feed tab!	Bone Key Ingredients: 669 x Witch's Claws + 75 x Fairy Dust Time: 15 seconds It can be produced in the main and tropical mills - Events feed tab!

Also added, three critters with specific requests for event crops and products (workshop items) to get some jewels to unlock prizes.

The first floor asks for: Keyweeds & Dungeon Keys
The second floor asks for: Witch's Claws & Bome Keys

To complete fully the First Floor (Rooms 0 to 29):

17640 Keyweeds + 2400 Keyweeds to feed the 2 critters for the 2 x Sapphire
2040 Fairy Dust
120 Dugeon Keys +30 minutes of milling time
30 Cheeses (optional feeding for Critter 1)
10 Picnic blankets (optional feeding for Critter 1)
70 Cow's Milk (optional feeding for Critter 1)
30 Silk (optional feeding for Critter 2)
10 Tambourines (optional feeding for Critter 2)
50 Cardboard Boxes (optional feeding for Critter 2)

Critters 1 & 2 are in Rooms 16 & 19 (see map bellow - Red writing)
To go up to the Second Floor the portal is in Room 17 (see map Bellow - Red writing)



The Jewel Tokens are located in chests in Rooms 6-11-15-28 on the first floor.

To fully complete the Second Floor (Rooms 30 to 44):

8697 Witch's Claws
225 Fairy Dust
13 Bone Keys + 3 minutes 15 seconds of milling time
25 Rakes (optional feeding for Critter 3)
15 Fire Hydrants (optional feeding for Critter 3)
25 Skateboards (optional feeding for Critter 3)
2 Sapphires (jewels from First Floor Rooms 16 & 19 - feeding critters 1&2) + 2 Jade (jewels from Second Floor Rooms 30 & 42)
3 Rubies (received when feeding Critter 3 with 2 Sapphires + 2 Jade)

Critter 3 is located in Room 41 (see map bellow - Red writing)
To go down to First Floor the portal is in Room 37 (see map bellow - Red writing)



There are two cloud rows to be had as well as three givers

The huge amount of Keyweeds from the Main Field only and the 2040 Fairy Dust drops needed will limit how fast we can progress, players should grow the Witch's Claws at the same time on the Green Meadow and then use the Green Meadow for more drops if this doesn't produce enough drops.

Sorry, I have to brag about my "own good luck" here!

Diamond slot +200% Harvest All - duration 31h
Party Ticket spins gave me 3 x +100% Harvest All - duration 24h
Regular Wheel of Fortune coupons Crops +1 (x2) - duration 6h
Jack O Gift x1 - duration 10h

So initial cultivation 38 plants BIG field in other words 370 pcs.
So now small fields and four "colors" yield 19 pcs! (in 36 minutes...)

...and a two-week event, well "what a shame" when there's time to "grow DROPS"...

SORRY - but I had to when "the day shone on the pile of twigs once !!!" <<-- (old Finnish proverb / saying)

This is how you get through the first labyrinth of the dungeon:



Let me explain: from 1 - follow the black line to 11 and down 12 until room 26 and enter room 27 - here you get the Ruby, meaning you have to go through the entire labyrinth to get the Ruby, which is needed 29-30 - to open the door.
From room 11, go back to 10 and enter 27 to play a minigame and exit...

We are home! No celebrating, though. I may have to go back to AZ soon. We'll see if things work out or not.

Now I'm trying to decide what to do regarding farming. Since I completely missed the baking event, I cannot complete the over-arching soccer event. But, I'm wondering if I should keep going anyway, do what I can and reap what rewards I can.

I think I'm going to give this one a whirl. Starting a day late, but hoping I can catch up. We are not doing the RL farmer's market tomorrow - likely will be rained out on top of everything else.

Hi!

Here is the planned route for the lower level. This is the only way to proceed. The red one is the main route. Where there are double arrows, it is always a dead end, so you go in, play the mini-game, open the chest and return to the main progress path.
The red spot in the middle is the starting point of the portal, which will take you to the second level.

opps, with those, I "remember" that we need 32 tgousand plant, that was "only" 20++ thousand... My OWN mistake, so many extra green stuff used Missing Drops to do floor1 completely but now I can START it...

 

Jewel tokens are my priority. I have one from room 11. Am I right in thinking that the next one I can reach is room 28? And then room 15 and then the left side door back into room six? Thanks for your detailed description, Northy, I would be completely lost without it...​

I couldn't do this without the Dungeon map....I'm easily lost.

 

Even with the maps, I'm stuck.

I cleared out the middle easily, but for the life of me I can NOT figure out how to get out of that section. How the heck do you get to the purple squares on the bottom left and right to clear those rows? Can someone please share the secret with me?

It was a very welcome surprise the change of the minigame to a much more "playable" version . Last year, i almost broke the mouse Got the tokens, one of the cloud rows and now waiting for drops. Thanks again, Nordais and thank you, Nala777, for sharing those
