That's fine; if this is a standard of service that you like then that's wonderful and I'm glad you feel like a valued customer. But there is quite clearly a large contingent of people who are really genuinely upset by this decision - and that doesn't need to be invalidated or dismissed by fake assurances you're not in a position to make, or certainties you're not actually certain about.

I admire your faith in the team despite 10+ years of evidence that they're not trustworthy. A quick read of this thread alone, not to mention the rest of the forum, will highlight a pattern of ignoring player feedback, excluding non-European players from event participation, forced payment for full participation in a game that markets itself as free, unreasonable expectations, dismissal of player-reported technical errors, endless compensation codes for game errors (great that we're compensated, poor that we need to be), algorithm programming that precludes full participation, in-game and forum censorship of entirely harmless content, micromanaging of forum communication, and decision-making that directly contradicts the desires and preferences of the consumer group. I respect your right to trust the team in spite of this pattern of behaviour, but I do not consider it to be appropriate or reasonable to ask others to have faith in them too.

Although I am not personally affected by this rebalancing, and in fact I support the concept, the feedback suggests that perhaps there should be a longer period of time for quests to be completed, accompanied by, for example: frequent and longer (or permanent, for the duration of the allotted time) Baby Boom, MM access, low or easy occurrence of events. This would give more players more chances to complete more quests. I also trust the Farmerama team and feel that on the whole, feedback is usually considered and attempts are made to implement suggestions. Much has changed in the many years that I have been playing, and I think all of it is for the good. Could there be more improvement? Certainly. Such is the nature of anything. They evolve, or they die out. I for one am glad that Farmerama is ever evolving!

Out of genuine curiosity, what do you feel is the benefit of this decision? I really can't see a single benefit but I'd be keen to understand from an alternative perspective what the advantage of this is. It might help people who are upset to know why this is going to be a good thing for them.

I'd also be curious to know what feedback you've seen implemented. To my awareness we just have years and years of very reasonable requests that have gone unanswered!
