Halloween Breakout

I have never played sudoku and have managed to figure it out however this market thing is driving me nuts. My four farms have lamps and files. I cannot trade anything but those on black market area out almost 700 offers!!! If it is supposed to be divided up with 1/4 of each player getting an item I should have at least one with spoon or tin cup. Did I see someone say they have first cloud row up already? Please tell us how. I love cloud rows and strive to get them above everything else but this is crazy. How come some are able to play second tower and all of my farms are locked? So many questions and so few answers.

i don't like this event because I don't understand how it works.
Almost done with the first tower but the two others *shrug*

 

So we're going to have to wait until the second crop is available and THEN we HOPE we can get what we need from the event. Yeah. This is not right. Whole thing leaves a bad taste right about now.

We're in MM, everything is rotted or rotting, that means things are ok, right??!!

 

We're not getting the same wierd shapes in the sudokus, something that works for someone will not work for others. I keep playing both my farms at the same time and I have to solve both in two different ways.

 

There are problems, that is obvious. My particular beef is the total things I should have. I have finished the left side - twenty puzzles each rewarding two lamps or whatever equals forty. I bought some with bribe candy and yet I have only 33! I haven't spent any so where are the others?

~edit~ As you said you have bought some with Bribe Candy, have you checked your shop to see if there are items there that have not been purchased yet? All items rewarded need to be exchanged with Bribe Candy before they are useable.

I have finished all 20 games on first tower. I have 0 lamps, 0 spoons and 0 tin cups. How did I end up with zero???
I do have leftover map pieces and traded bribe candy for files. I don't sudoku, and this one seems harder than the last. I even bought a basket. There are no trades available to me.

Finished all 20 also. Have a few lamps and files not cups or spoons so I guess I wait 3 days for tower two to open and hope for the other items become available.

Everyone has a different sudoku to resolve, there is no one solution to share with all.

 

The special objects/Black Market issue solved. I've just finished the first sudoku of the central tower. The following update works. FINALLY.

I finally made it here. My heavens the farms are dodgy this morning. Slow to load. Freezing up. I think BP finally has reached the upper limit for bells, whistles, gew-gaws and ding-dongs.

My two farms finally have the first CR up and running for this event. If that's all I get out of this, I'm okay with that. To say I am unhappy with this event and the current state of my farms is an understatement. I'm very close to shutting it all down and walking away from it all. Ugh.

 

I was able to exchange these darn kerosene lamps for other tools and play mini-games in the middle tower. They can be really hard, so do not wait until the last day to solve them! I'm having a hard time with the "thick" gray borders that make the weird shapes, I wish they were done in another coulour instead.

 

so I bought files from tbe bribe candy shop and exchanged some for the other items that are needed to play the middle game. But I ran out of available files to buy, I didn't realise it was a finite number of sales available

so is it even possible to solve the quest anymore?

 

There is no need to go through the Black Market anymore, you can exchange any tool for any other one by going through the Rewards IV tab instead.

 

Me too, Nordais. I used to love these puzzles but this extra "thick line" addition is certainly upping the difficulty levels. Got to keep slogging on ... I hear that even AI couldn't solve one but as I am old school, I don't really know how to try it out! Maybe in the final hours ...

So I have enlisted my husband to help with the really hard puzzles. Remember, I said we do these puzzles every day (when you've been married for 45 years, you need something to talk about at lunchtime so we work puzzles).

Some of these puzzles are seriously ugly. I've printed out blank grids and am transferring the numbers to paper so I can "tick" the empty squares. It's the only way I can remember what possible numbers can go in the boxes. Ugh.
