    @CJAT

    I made you one that's different, for the rest I used your old one. I hope there's one you like, or can (have me or you or others) work with.
    Oh, and I could not find the Cowboy font. I hope I've used at least one lettertype you like... Personally I like the first, the second and the seventh... But it's up to you and I have all sig strips without text as well.

    I'm sorry folks, that's all I have time for today!:eek: Tomorrow I also have very little time as I've got some routine hospital check ups, but you know how that goes... you wait and wait and wait forever.... half a day for one appointment... -.-
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    --> If you know how, please pull the siggy to your desktop, and upload it yourself, to photobucket or a similar online host, and then use your own link. ( I cannot provide bandwith for ALL players, so if you know how, please upload it yourself, otherwise, you can use my link. No guarantuees for future availability though, as I am using a free account with limited bandwith)

    Hi Tookie!

    Thanks for all your hard work! :) I understand about waiting in doctor's offices. I get weekly allergy shots and have to wait a half hour after each one before I can leave... but it's also amazing how much you can get done if you bring something to work on! ;) But I hope your check up goes well with lots of good news!

    Wow! You have give me so many siggy choices! I do like the new cross candle holder but will stay with the current one as it is made of fragments of broken glass. ;) (Besides with my cross avatar that would be waaay too many crosses!)

    My favorite one is siggy five because of the name and ID font ~ I am really a simple girl at heart! But I noticed that it is harder to read the quote underneath. Is it possible to use the font from siggy 4 or 8 but in a slightly whiter/brighter color?

    I will also admit that the teacher part of me is squirming inside like crazy, as the quote needs a period inside the last quotation mark.. {{blush}} (The little things that drive us crazy!) And knowing me, I probably forgot to copy it over. :eek:xD

    - use siggy 5
    - use font from 4 or 8
    - brighter color, slightly whiter
    - add dot at end of sentence

    will do! (tonight... hospital in a bit... ) (i'm a perfectionist so you can stop squirming! I also noticed I forgot the "tenderly" in the first siggy!)

    Will work on them later ;)

    Wishing you all the best Toekie today as you are at the hospital. Or at the very least, the best it can be under the circumstances....

    sorry Toekie, but I don't know where else to do this. Not sure what I did or if I did anything. I did it, I really did. I saved the other two also, well, think I did anyway. Thanks so very much.

    Sounds great! I have also been trying to think of a way to make the quote font bigger as I know not everyone who uses the forum has "young eyes." The only things I can think of would be to take the quotation marks off (give us a bit more room), squish my name and Id to the upper-right corner (or even delete the Id), and move the word "Brokenness..." to a line above the rest of the quote. What do you think? (Are you ready to hit me now??) :eek:

    @blessedlady2 ~ I think your siggy is beautiful! :)

    About CJAT's siggy . . . Not to be a buttinski, hehehe, but I have to wear glasses just to read the computer screen. The font easiest to read at the sizes on the current siggies is the one from siggy 8, for the Brokenness quote. The rest I believe is up to preference. Since it was mentioned I thought I would chime in. ;) :p :music:

    I like number 5 for CJAT's siggy. Nice and clean. Not that it matters, just my .02 worth

    Hi baw! {{hugs}} It's always good to have feedback! (I agree that it's easiest to read on #8). Now as I look between siggy 4 and 8, I notice that on #8 the whole siggy is a bit lighter. Oh dear! I now like the candle holder best on the last siggy as the fragments are clearer and easier to see...

    {{leaves a couple feather pillow out for tookie to smack me with when she returns}} :oops::p Or you can de-stuff them and sell the feathers on the market... ;)

    @Banjo ~ I like that one too but the quote is hard to read. o_O

    I'm not gonna smack anyone, LOL. I am however going to have you wait a little longer. :eek:xD

    I'm exhausted after today, so tomorrow morning, bright and early... I'll go tweak it into perfection.
    I SHALL get it right... >:( (<--in jest) ;)

    You should've seen me spend hours on tweaking those eyes in my siggy.... first the eyes were in the wrong direction...then I needed ONE eye in the other direction....and then they were too close together...then too far apart...then too transparant...and then too strong.... and then I accidentaly deleted them...so I started again. But...they're THERE now. LOL

    Hi tookie! Welcome back from the hospital! You go rest up and take as much time as you need! I'm not in a big hurry, and besides, the way things have gone so far, it's probably a wise move to make me wait a bit longer! {{blush}} ;)

    I do love the eyes! I think they look great! (Especially your avatar). Thanks to a comment Gery made in passing, I spent an hour last night "chasing rabbits" aka looking at youtube Photoshop "how to" vids... which led to a sticker-shock this morning (!) and then a search earlier today about GIMP and Picasa... *happy sigh* One of these days I think I will get into photo editing... something a bit more advanced than the Paint I use now for screenshots lol! ;) Can I ask what program you use?

    I had to double-check the rules as I know solo got edited for referencing a program he used to edit his siggy (posted website??) , but I don't think this is advertizing and relates more to the "what kind of car you drive" from the rules so it should be okay
    :) (I hope) :oops:

    Thanks you guys! eh, gals! I appreciate the compliments. :D I just love making beautiful things and this is something I cán do.
    I use paint.NET :inlove:
    It's a bit more involved than paint.
    The one thing I have not figured out how to do is animations, with this program, but with this program I can make layers, and stuff and do several things PER layer. Which is what is very useful. And you can cut and erase and shape and stuff, and tweak color and hue and everything.
    I'm STILL learning, after using this program for years. And its a free program.
    I also had photoshop... C5 or sumtin.... but I couldn't work with it. I found it too complicated and too difficult. So... I stick with paint.NET for now. :)

    I'm having trouble today though...:( I wanted to work on the sigs today... but I have severe rheumatism in my hands today... even typing is painful so I think I must skip another day. I don't want to, but keeping to my boundaries is something I just HAVE to do. It is also why I stopped making siggies so much.... so... I want to make them and I will... but only on good days. :(

    I really am sorry for that, not because you have to wait, but because I am SO impatient!!!! I WANT to continue.... NóW!!! :mad:;)

    But.... but...butt.... (<--butt...bhahhahahah buttt... a la minions... do you remember? hahahaha minion butt on photocopier?...LOL)xD

    So.. sorry. I have to do nothing with my hands today. grbml grmbl...-.-

    Next: finish CJAT's sigs
    Make Arielh's princesses
    Make Spotsbox's sig
    Make suzy's sig

    Just a quick post as I have to head off to work...

    That program sounds interesting! I once had a program on the old computer that let me work in layers so there was no permanent damage to the original picture/poster I was working on. I was thinking you must use something similar or you would drive yourself nuts!

    I have no problem waiting! Patience is good to have!

    Umm... {{covers eyes and hands minions pants to wear}} :eek: :music:

    Have you ever checked into paraffin wax hand treatments? (You can buy the warmer and the wax yourself). When I was observing therapists for a possible OT degree, they used that and it was supposed to help. It might be worth googling and checking into!

    Gotta run! So many threads, so little time lol! {{sigh}}

    Toekie - I also have a lot of pain in my hands and repetitive motions aggravate it. I do use a paraffin wax warmer and it does help. My sister gave it to me. She worked for Toyota and it is placed on the manufacturing floor because those workers have jobs that require repetitive motions and it helped reduce workplace injuries. I hope you feel better....

    You guys are sweet. I do have all kinds of stuff that helps.:) But the thing that helps most, is not overdoing it when it comes to mouse clicking... -.- Which is what i love to do most... cuz my life is inside my puter... :( Sometimes one would wish to live in a star-trek like age...where voice interface is a little bit further on than it is now. :p

    "computer"... "cut image around edge of candle....".... "resize to...".... "paste onto...".... etc. Would save a million clicks!

    But, for now... my hands are not cooperating. I'll be back though. :)

    Feel better Toekie! I am glad you got a lot of pleasure out of doing what you love for as long as you did. The little girl inside me (she has no manners) is screaming yippee, at least I got my pretty siggy. Thanks!
