    Howdy Farmers,

As you can see in this Official Announcement, the Secret Stables have returned, with a few changes, under a new name: Wonder Stables. The Interest per Level system has also been optimized, so you will see a better balancing in your results.

We are looking forward to hearing your feedback!

I wish the statement about the interest per level system had contained some information about what supposedly has changed, and not just saying: we hope it is better. Now I really don't know what to expect.

Just saw with the new wonder stables that roosters are coming. Are these super roosters in that they require 65 wheat and 45 corn for one unit of food? A cow, many, many times larger, only needs 3 wheat and 3 corn (plus 3 hay) for one unit of food. Somehow this doesn't seem reasonable to me - IMHO.

I will reserve a final opinion until after the event but at the initial announcement, I cannot tell what has changed. It still says we can get yellow and orange pens and workshops, rare stables and if we are lucky a red or pink pen. Those are the same choices as the well known mystery stables. I agree with birdiesaunt that the feed required to feed a rooster seems to be out of proportion. Though the extra EP is nice, I am not a fan of increasing the time from 5 hours to 8 hours to see what we get. I admit to being eager (impatient) to see what I get and now having to wait either all day or night to find out does not increase my excitement. Though the instant finish payment choice is reduced, it would still be awful to pay 18 BB to find a yellow pen or workshop. Yes, I know it is a gamble...

Edit: FAQ has been updated to correct the length of pen. Originally it was 2 hours but now the rooster will take 20 hours! Second to longest pen in the game (raccoon is the longest). The EP is not 'extra' as in my original statement. That was based on a 2 hour harvest time. Now the rooster is the worse pen in the game for EP purposes. The announcement states that high level of players will have sufficient crops to feed the rooster so the amount of feed would be negligible. However, high level farmers will not wish to use a 2x2 space for 20 hours to gain 130 EP. Even 4 regular apple trees net more EP than that (in a 24 hour period).

I reserve judgement too and will edit this later. However, I do not think changing the name of the event to a pathetic 'wonder' stables is a good move. What on earth was wrong with 'secret' ! xD

Agree with birdiesaunt....I sure hope that is a typo! Yikes!

    Hello everyone,

I am sorry to let you know the feed requirement is not a typo, that's how much wheat and corn will be needed for 1 unit of Rooster Feed. The typo on the other hand is on the harvest time of the Rooster - the stable takes 20 hours, not 2. As mentioned in this short Official announcement, it was a very unfortunate typo and I apologize for confusing you. :( Thank you SeverineSnape for spotting this.

If the game team means this to be a stable for higher level players, I hope this is reflected in the interest per level system, so that higher level players actually have a better chance of winning it. At least we can hope so :p

Exactly how high a level is meant? I'm in the low 70's and at any given time I will sometimes have over 12000 of each of the crops meant for rooster food and sometimes its down to 100 depending on what I am doing. I really don't get the reasoning that it is meant for high level players, that is like some have said, if they can even win it.

The requirements for feeding roosters that may or may not have any other role in the game is still too high even for high level players. Why would they even bother to use their crops to feed roosters, when there are a dozen other things more productive to use those crops for?

WIth 'secret' you don't know what you will get, but with 'wonder' you wonder what you will get or whether you will get what you want...

It's obvious why they're changing the name, it's not secret anymore, you just wonder how many will be orange horse and how many will be classic beaver >:(-.-.

What's next, wonder seedlings? I wonder how many XXL catalpas I'll get?o_O

    AGREED 100%
BP, gentlemen....this is supposed to be a relaxing GAME - not one where the requirements keep getting more and more detrimental to the FARMER (player)! This is stressful, not relaxing. Please keep this in mind each time you consider 'requirements'. Haven't you already read all the complaints about the astronomical crop requirements?? This, obviously, includes feed, too. These should be LOWERED until we get another field to grow them in, not raised and added to. Hello...anybody home out there? We hard working Farmers are getting TIRED!:sleepy: :(:(-.-
Closing on a positive note, all the really good and fun things that you DO are very much appreciated, and have made this game the success it is. Here's to the positive side!:):)

P.S. As for the Roosters - this is such a bad idea that, for the first time, I really, really hope I do not get ANY, ever!!!!! Please equip them with a 'return' button so we can get our BB's back!
Thank you - I am serious about the 'button'!

I also will try and reserve judgement. But it indeed would've been nice if they would tell us what has changed - I mean I am still finding beavers cowering under Catalpa trees and hiding out in my orange horse stables from the last stable event. I choose to be cautiously optimistic... for now.
    @grumpy - love you signature. :D

I almost hope I get a space-wasting, low--EP-for-the-time-and-resources-giving rooster stable though - I mean, I really want to see how roosters make.. ahem... more roosters. Does someone at BP need a biology lesson?;)

Lol, althea! Maybe they adopt the unwanted cuckoos xD! I couldn't believe it when I saw 8 hours for mystery stables now o_O-.-. To me there's nothing to "wonder" about, it's strictly a way to get us FOCD inflicted farmers spending more of our BB, so we'll buy more BB :(. While I love this event, and I hope to get another frog and/or hedgehog, I am becoming a bit disillusioned with all the recent changes that don't seem to be making the game more enjoyable, but just the opposite.

@spotsbox - LOL! Of course! I have over 1000 cuckoos that need forever families. But seriously, yes the 8 hour maturity time seems to be playing on our excitement and anticipation - pushing us to spend BBs for some instant gratification. Myself, I am not tempted to waste BBs on an early result. Rather spend a few more on an extra stable or 2. Patience, dear friends. :)

I thought the Roosters are L2 Breeding Animal, just like the Jumbo Pig Sty? I may be wrong...
