No, small difference. o and a look the same to me.

 

I'm sitting this one out.....the new Rooster Pen isn't a prize that I want...to long to mature..... and actually.. the Wonder/Secret Stables doesn't excite me anymore.....tired of Yellow Stables and same-o-same-o Orange Stables..even the odd Red Stable is of no use to me...I harvest according to the majority ....sigh another Event which has slowly but surely cured my excitement...

 

all right, I'll bite. You two are talking clean over my head. It's not like I wasn't confused enough already just trying to figure out where I was now I have to deal with a rooster that is a L2 just like a pig sty and now my roosters aren't roosters anymore.

The name of this animal is very similar to something we already have, namely a roaster.

If you breed 4 chicken you normally get a roaster, which makes roasters a level 1 (L1) breeding animal. The Jumbo pig stable is a special kind of stable you can get from the mini event San Gigantica Express. The Jumbo stables give L1 or L2 breeding animals directly without having to use any power feed. I think Bhodho was wondering (pun intended) if the rooster stable might be like a Jumbo chicken stable. This is not the case since it produces roosters and not roasters.

Just to be clear & give some feedback: roosters and roasters are completely different, therefore it may be confusing that their names are so similar.

I see this event, like the others, has issues with being random. I could only afford two this time around and guess what? I got 2 Duck orange. I have a feeling, many players got the same.

I worked and worked to get one "Dawn" wonder stable. I was so excited to watch and wait to see what I got. To my surprise I got a hamster! It was so fun to be "surprised!

 

Just to say that my hens in the garden are much happier when they have a rooster to take care of them...... and I just got a virtual one too !!
From my result with 8 wonder stables, I think that the new 'Interest system per level' is working - thanks BP a real improvement.

Still one of my favourite events. I don't mind the eight hour harvest, it makes no difference to me. I guess it is to encourage more players to pay for instant harvest which is a bit unfair to the majority of players who don't pay for such things, who now have to wait longer which annoys them.....

 

I got a hamster stall.
I had already one hamster stall so now I have two. Maybe I will trade it in the trading event.

 

I dipped my toe in the water and bought 1 last night - this morning I have my second cat kennel. Not bad at all - and I can trade it at the next GBT event for something I don't have. Now do I tempt fate and buy another..... hmmmmmm

 

I wouldn't be surprised if the roaster name wasn't changed to avoid confusion, they changed the cuckoo chicken to crazy chicken.

 

Congratulations muscaricat! That's awesome! I got another hedgehog, which I'm lovin', and a red horse, and have 5 more out, but several hours before know what got. I'm also in agreement with althea, as impatient as I am, I won't spend the BB for instant gratification. It was always kind of fun to anticipate the 5 hour wait, now it just seems to drag .

 

@spotsbox - yep, I put mine out last thing before I went to bed last night. And the next 6 as I leave the house for the day with no computer access. That way, temptation won't get me!

 

I bought 10 and actually had success with 2 getting a rooster and a dove. I did get an orange horse and an orange goat, but better than the yellow that I was getting. I bought 5 more just to see if I can finally get the frog, stork, and hedgehog which have all eluded me so far. It seems much better with a 20% success rate in getting something as opposed to my luck of 0% over the last 2 years of the secret stable.

edit: Last 5 are in with 3 more orange stalls.

I ended up with 2 more eagle, 1 fox, 1 cat, and 1 mouse, sheep shearing shed (which can be purchased inexpensively) , red cowshed and 1 of the many raccoons still made it through.

Thus:
8 rare (2 were ones I needed)
5 orange
1 red (only gotten through much hard work)
1 shearing shed (also bought with cc's)


I a 53% chance of rare which is far higher than my previous results which were less than 5% and I usually received many regular and yellow stalls. I also had 7% chance of getting items that are easily gotten in came with cc's. I do like seeing the red stall and I know some have gotten pink, so that is a plus. There still doesn't seem to be variety in the orange stalls, I got 2 orange fish, a horse, a goat, and a turkey.

I do have a problem with receiving items that are easily purchased in the city with CC's such as the sheep shearing shed. I feel that the only stalls that should be received from this event should be items that are rare, or only gotten by purchase with BB's.

 

I believe this change is very good! I had very good results and a lot of players got what they wanted

 

I bought 3 , and had a orange horse , orange fish and a mole . All useless to me have tons of them.
So I didn't buy any more "wonder stables" , before i bought about 10 . Now I am thinking to scrap this event all together. I am level 94 and don't get any new stables since the hit hall ( luckly I have great neighbours and could trade that one, my one and only Dove was also gifted )

 

The wonder stables are much better than the last few rounds of secret stables. Personally I am happy to receive any orange stables and any rare stables as long as there is a good mix (not 50% orange horse for instance). The only thing I would not like to receive are workshops, especially the ones were we have trees giving the same product. I think workshops should only be for lower level players, for whom they might actually be useful. If you will not change this, then please let us use workshops again on San Gigantica. Otherwise there really is no use for an egg farm or a cow dairy.

In the description of the event it says we can also win yellow stables. As far as I know no one has reported getting one of those. If they really are not part of the wonder stables it will be good PR to remove them from the description.

 

I hate the new 8hr waiting time. BP giveth with one hand and removes with the other.

 

I dislike the 8 hour waiting time. 5 hours was hard/bad enough but 8 is too long. My results were more balanced than previously with not one animal singled out.

58% rare pens
8% workshops that could be built in city with the majority being crow hoard (six of them)
28% orange pens
6% red pens
No pinks this time. I bought a lot of stables to try to get at least 2 roosters. I understand that each pen has its own interest level assignment but it does still seem odd that others were able to get 2 roosters with less than 20 pens and it took me over 100.
