    Soooo... I must already have my head on my cruise ship.:music: I harvested 1 hour before the event started o_O Good thing drops won't be an issue. However I did replant other crops I now have to wait for to be done. -.-

    Hope the event goes well for everyone!!

    I already got empty cloud rows, the music box 1st then another one for a event (too many
    event which I forgot what is is:oops:)
    When I look at FAQ, I just hate to see we again need to plant 16 hr stuff, and worst is soooo
    many Tea brew this time. It is 650 unit!
    Look carefully for those prize of quest 2, I start to think :
    Could I drop some of them, Oh, no, they are lv by lv, I could only drop the last one .
    OK, do the cloud row temp me, 16 hr for 2500 EP so far so good,not very temp(If it give BEP,
    I sure will do the whole evnt!)
    Wonder box, not 100% music box, maybe just deco, OK, not so attractive.
    So, I determind. If I got bore of thos 8 hr gingerbread & thos Tea Brew (more hate that I could
    only use machine when fully mature), I could say bye bye to LV 6 xD

    wow I didn't know about this event I had exams that time and didn't have time for anything...
    [IMG] do you have this??:inlove: It seems to me that I lost the best event:cry:

    Now back to this event... First we do all the stages of the first task of the Septemberfest I in the meantime we start growing the gingerbread briars. We try to harvest over 500 of them so we can give the silver step of task two and then we go straight to task 3 so we have a lot of TeaBrew barrels. After that we can go back and finish it.

    dnin21cent I agree with you maybe these boxes are deco only so it is not really worth the time but from the last step I want the cloud row so I will try

    This even's rewards are not certainly very enticing. I expect better results from the Mystery Seedlings than from the powered-Mystery Stables. Anyway, I'll do it.

    In this occasion, if you don't go for the resetting once option, it's definitely better to skip L2 Diamond task to bring the total of event's crops needed to 12700 (it saves around 1 harvest if you use CAC or PJ, depending on how many plots of what size you decide to dedicate), as Mir pointed out yesterday. This way, by completing all of the rest, 660 teabrew barrels are got and, at the same time, you save lots of space that would be occupied by the event's crops for 08:00/06:24/05:45 (plain/watered/manured and watered). This saved time-space largely outweighs the time-space you save by getting 700 teabrew barrels (14500 event's crops needed) to be able to complete PartII by just growing 634 of them to the XStrong stage (100%) + 64 to be harvested immediately after having planted them (which would save 64 1x1-plots for either 16 or 12 hours). Why? Saving on the 1800 L2D's event's crops, just by watering/CAC-ing them, means you save, at least, 06:24*600 1x1-plots=3840 1x1plots-hours whereas you save 16:00*64 1x1-plots=1024 1x1plots-hours.... This difference means you can dedicate 2816 1x1plots-hours to whatever other use you would prefer. Still, with those 660 teabrew barrels, you can save another additional 16:00*10 1x1-plots=160 1x1-plots-hours by getting 650 of them to XStrong stage (100%) and 10 of them to be harvested immediately after having planted them, yielding thus 65020 teabrew barrel points.

    However, the other one best way is to reset once and do what Salazar points out above: it's even better. Thus, as she explained, only 4600 event's crops are needed. Provided you have and are willing to spend 25 BBs, the additional normal products you will need for doing so are no problem at all: the time-space this approach saves is huge. Using the comparison methodology I introduced above:
    * comparing to 14500 (watered and CAC-ed) --> 06:24*(14500-4600)/3 = 63360 1x1plots-hours saved;
    * comparing to 12700 (watered and CAC-ed) --> 06:24*(12700-4600)/3 = 51840 1x1plots-hours saved.

    These humongous amounts of time-space saved guarantee you the ability to produce all the other products requested many times OR, better still, just produce the most profitable among them (usually, the crops) for sale in mkt and, with the proceeds, buy the rest or simply increase your CCs-stock for better purposes.

    Needless to say, I'll most probably follow this second approach. I'll have event's crops done by tomorrow at the latest (4600). Since EP-givers are not great either but yield almost 99% more EPs if placed in parks instead of the cloud row, I'll most probably plant the teabrew barrels towards the end of the event so that I can maximize the number of them I can apply the teabag-booster on.

    (All the above analysis can also be made using PJ: this event is perfectly doable by just limiting yourself to it).

    Hi friends,
    I am just wondering. Didn't we have to finish the last step (diamond) in the last event(s) that were built up like this, so we could start the 2nd quest? Like the island quest "opening gala".

    yes we had... in the start I though that we must finish the first and then we can go to the second.
    They made a change like it seems

    My bottom line these days is that I am cheap! Even though, I have the 25 BBs on both of my farms. I do not want to spend the BBs. Cuckoo breeding is next and I will want to get PF. This means that I will be a traditional farmer this event. I will bore myself to tears planting all those 8 hr event crops and drive myself crazy watching all those slow brewing teas mature.

    I guess I have to figure out for my time zone and sleeping habits when to plant the tea so it will be done by my mourning harvest. I like brewing in small batches. I will brew on the Island since I have 1/2 my Island full of chopstick workers and Panda farms. I may have to get rid of a few farms.
    This means I will use the other 3 fields for event crops. I hope to get 4 harvests per day. Hatzeva says I need to do 22 harvests so this will be close. No room for errors or a life. HeHeHe

    I am planning on opening all the Silver slots first so I can do the easy stuff as quick as possible. I have a full barn so no problem there.

    The one good thing about this strategy is that if I mess up. I can always switch to SS's strategy. BAW, I agree SS is a good nickname - if she approves for SeverineSnape. Otherwise, I am doomed to allows go and copy/ past her name since the word Severine is way beyond my abilities to remember. HaHaHa

    SS it is fantastic to see you posting. I have missed you.

    Thanks for all the mathy people who have pointed out how tough this event will be. I am not motivated by the cloud row or the wonder box. Instead, I am just driven by good old fashion Farmerama OCD. Eee-gads, I am having a serious senior moment. I can't remember our nickname for it. Is it FOCD?

    Good Luck to all!

    In case you have a secondary farm or farms

    Just by donating
    1700 carrots
    60 apples
    17 ducks
    40 sheep
    500 gingerbread

    You get 40 barrels, which are enough to complete 2 steps and get 2x secret seedlings, 2x party spins and 1x 3h coupon.

    Oh thank you escalonilla! I haven't been home long to work on all the different options we have for this one and honestly, have an 'all or none' mentality so this will be nice for my alternate farm that I don't really want to do the full event but would be nice to try for a secret tree.

    Hi all :)

    In case you should do SeverineSnape's strategy, there is a way to use even less crops! You just have to think about the 25 BB.

    [IMG]
    Please notice: It was a german player - Jeka1983 - finding out that way. I just asked if I may post in in here.. so, i just translated.;)

    I think - I will do like that. :music:

    Thanks, Latein. I'll definitely go for this option, resetting once. Just 3700 event's crops, 655 teabrew barrels (650 to be fully matured + 5 to be harvested immediately after having been planted, yielding a total of 65005 teabrew barrel points). Thus, I'll probably be done tomorrow morning......

    Thank you Latein. Now my head starts to get around all that numbers posted before and making sense.
    Thanks also to Jeka 1983. I would do that kissing smiley I found somewhere, but don't know how to do it.

    Only thing left to do now, is to check the rewards for the "not done" steps to see if one is interesting in some way.

    Edit:not worth of doing the extra work

    if you use CAC and fields 1x1 and you don't want to use the harvester helpers you can zoom out your farm so the clicking will be easier and faster;)

    DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING...

    For those wondering if you may spend 25 BBs and do the 3700 event's crops option or not, perhaps this way of looking at the matter will help you decide: 2 Mystery Stables cost 15*2=30 BBs; 2 Secret Seedlings cost 5*2=10 BBs; if you spend 25 BBs in this occasion and get both the 2 Mystery Stables and the 2 Secret Seedlings, it's similar to buying the package of the 4 of them at a 37,5% discount.......

    UNLESS YOU KNOW (I DON'T) HOW MUCH THE WONDER BOXES COST. And cost is different than worth: for me, their worth is NIL.

    In which task can we spend the 25BB exchange for 3.700 crops?

  18. Aluntino

    Arielh,

    You can reset and spend the 25 BBs at any point, as many times (I suppose, but there's no point to it, with the exception of those who may want to gather loads of stars) as you want.

    For the 3700 event's crops option, you must reset ONCE after having done the following (therefore, after having completed L5D, but with the following pattern):
    * L1 --> SGD
    * L2 --> SG
    * L3 --> SGD
    * L4 --> S
    * L5 --> SGD

    You do it ONCE, reset by paying the 25 BBs, and repeat the whole pattern again once more (except for L2G).

    To be more clear, once you reset, then, you do the following:
    * L1 --> SGD
    * L2 --> S
    * L3 --> SGD
    * L4 --> S
    * L5 --> SGD

    You end up, then, with the 655 teabrew barrels for PartII....

    And done.

    Last level of PartII. They now call them Wonder Boxes,..., go figure....

    EDIT for Bhodho: I went to check and no, they are these horrendous things that give you EP-givers, most of them absolutely useless.... (I'm running to edit my previous entry)...
