last week I think I saw this monthly preview calendar but I thought was a monkey breeding event not a donkey

No way I can use the 13 offers of 375 up in one day. So I'll only use like 5 offers of it up. But I am still buying all the PF at once.
Plan on breeding monkeys, fish, donkeys, and whatever I got.

 

My RL is still on the crazy side. I pop in and read quick then I'm off to deal with RL again.

CJAT - How was your trip? Did I miss you telling us about it? I know you're in your final semester/quarter of school!!! Yeah! How's it going? It's probably terribly busy...that's why we haven't seen you here much lately.

For me....getting ready for October festivities! I'm having 2 different ladies' organizations to my house for Halloween gatherings. My bunco group and Assistance League(the volunteer organization).Both are costume parties....I'm going to be a witch again! Plus it's Grant's 21st B-day in a couple of weeks. I can't believe he's all grown up! Where did the time/years go?
I've gone a bit crazy with the Fall/Halloween decor....but more is more....right?
I discovered year's ago, the best way to get everything done on my "honey-do" list for my hubby & myself...is to have a party! It's a finite deadline!!!! Speaking of which...gotta run....carpet cleaner will be here soon!

@Brooke ~ you did not miss an update here... I mentioned we were going to be gone for the weekend in sglick's LifeStyle Changes thread, and also sent out igms to my neighbors.

For those of you who don't know, we left Friday afternoon to check out a ministry opportunity (in Illinois, which was an 9 hour drive there with construction, and then 8 hours driving back). We arrived back home on Monday night. The trip itself went well! We made some good connections... we will see what comes of it. I really like the pastors, the people and the church's vision. We're gonna keep praying on it and talking it over at home for now...

I love your house-cleaning motivation! It is so true with me too... I tend to notice things are not quite as clean as they should be when others are planning a visit lol! Hope your parties go well! Happy birthday to your son!

I was planning on finishing up homework when I came back from our weekend trip, but I ended up getting a sinus infection and missing work on Tuesday too. Which was fine with me, as I really needed to be able to get some good rest! I did manage to finish up all my homework in time (well, except a completed paper that I still need to type, print and file).


@Arielh and Ladyjazzy ~ good to see you two ladies here! {{hugs}} My thoughts on animal breeding... I skip the cuckoos and breed the regular animals lol! I also found a nice free CFA offer and was able to get the mill subscription this month... cuts power-feed production down to four hours each... so I can now make up to 8 power-feed every 32 hours! One day I will refigure the savings vs. cost of power-feed offers (but in another thread) as my last calculations in the old forum were off.

Hope this finds everyone well! I need to go catch up on housework, sstart this week's homework, and run my time sheet into the main office. (Will also pick up Jora from school, head to the library, and maybe go do some grocery shopping too...)


Anybody have some good healthy recipes for eggplant (white and purple)? We were given some this weekend ~ along with some real habaneros which hubby has already turned into his hot sauce lol! If not, I may just cross my fingers and make a veggie bake with the eggplant as I have onions, colored bell peppers and carrots... not to mention other various chili peppers. Hmm, perhaps I should pick up some potatoes too... or google eggplant lol!

 

CJAT - Yes, I knew about your trip (that you went) and did get your igm....I was asking how it went....like was it rewarding? Did you meet anyone interesting? Did you do any sight seeing while there? Sorry

 

Sorry dear... I think that how I typed that reply out to you didn't quite come across as I wanted it to... will edit it to say what I wanted it to say lol! So no need at all to apologize!!

We didn't do any sightseeing, other than what we saw from the interstate! (Saw the world's largest cross, which was cool). But the trip's basic purpose was to see the town that we were visiting, make connections, talk with the pastors (hubby and wife team), as well as meet the people from the church there. My hubby knows the pastor from a minister's forum that they are both on, and we are considering the possibility of moving there... no decisions right now though.

Did we meet anyone interesting?? Well, I think anytime you meet a person in real life instead of just on-line or via Facebook that it is interesting lol! (But in a good way). I would say that it was very rewarding and also gave us a lot to think about... so a very good trip overall!!

 

Hope you are done with your housework quickly but I don't know if these things can be done quickly

I know I said before about going to Florida but some people don't check the other social thread.

On December 26th I will head to Florida till the 5th. The part of Florida is Melbourne. Won't most likely be able to play farmerama while gone. So I will get that vacation thing I guess. Got some good neighbors now but too many gifting me and I only got seven gifts you know.

Will try to take a picture everyday while out in Florida. Been thinking of creating a video about heading out to Florida. This means I would film for about 30 seconds while we are driving to the airport, once we arrive at the airport, boarding the plane, and landed in Florida! Have no video editing skills so might be a little hard at first.
