Feedback: Mini Events

belindamotion, I am sorry you haven't been able to watch any movies I feel like they give with one hand and take away with another. Guess I should count my blessings that I am able to get some movie points and I hope someday (sooner rather than later) you also will be able to earn some points. Hope you are having good luck with the Chili Day Event

 

Thanks julie...I'm doing everything except the Diamond Level which needs the Brown Cows...40 Brown Cows @50,000 CC a pop is way to rich for my blood... Hopefully some Movies will come up again in my Cinema but I can't blame BP as I think it's the Sponsors...I'm from South Africa and the "ADS" are SA related..and I guess it's logical that SA Sponsors won't place ADS on USA Cites...no Market there....I have been relying on "universal ads"...(cars/golf etc) but haven't had for the past month.....

 

Oh, now I should remember to check the Cinema on my next visit down south. A two hour flight for 2BBs does not sound like a bad Farmerama deal...

 

Bhodho (aka Mr. President)...you crack me up!!!! Sounds very worthwhile!!!

 

I never have to worry about the cinema - none existent in Namibia. Never have sleepless nights and rages. Oh! how peaceful.

 

I, on the other hand, put my sugar and salt trees into storage right away. I don't have those factories operational, so they are useless to me. I would like a lemon tree, to complete the magic quest... but sure, I can just buy that. (if you need a new neighbor, I gift sugar often-- just remind me its what you want, because I tend to vary the gifts)

Maybe what we really need is a new trade event? Then we can exchange stuff?

 

We can exchange ...I've got Lemons.....as I'm always looking for Sugar Trees and it's sometimes hard for me to get at the G&T Event.....it says "user does not exist..?"..

 

Well, let's hook up in Botswana daily and proceed to South Africa. Then we can watch RSA-based movies and get the BBs, and live happily ever after...

 

From what I understand, its only an occasional event. I was too knew to participate when it came around before, so I don't even know how it works.

Or... Just realized, if you search for me in the game, its wuddy, not "woody". When they redid the forum, they let us change names. Most people probably stayed the same, but I changed mine.

 

A minor comment on the fair... the graphics on this don't match the prior high quality shown in farmerama.

 

I totally agree. I don't have enough BB's and the Cinema is playing movies with No rewards. Very, very unfair. The Cinema is the only way to get BB. I'm getting frustrated because I cannot advance or participate much. I know you don't control the Cinema but someone does and our voices need to be heard. There needs to be more ways to earn BB's. Something new, something different. People play this game to relieve their stress in life and part of our stress (for a lot of us) is we have no money. I don't want to feel the same way when I play. Please, please, please change it/fix it. There is so much potential here and people love this game; don't ruin it. I love the mini events even though I can only watch them 90% of the time. Also, the prices are way too high. 375BB for suzy super grow! Seriously??? It will take me a year, with this Cinema, the way it is, to be able to buy the largest one. And that is if I don't spend it on anything else. How about a tree or decorative item that gives BB? Maybe BB on the wheel? How about a mini quest in the Farmers Society, that you can repeat over and over again, but rewards you with BB? It can have lots of requirements i.e. 1,000 wheat, 1,000 garlic, 20 paint palettes, 20 yarn's etc. but eventually you get 50 BB's. Does anyone else have ideas?

 

Some farmers do have a tree that gives BBs (I'm not one of them). To the best of my knowledge, it is no longer available.

The movies now are of the type that require you to visit a third party site to (maybe) get your reward. I personally believe these should be in the "Cash for Action" option of the Bank, not the cinema. (I'm tired of the Adult ADHD, does that mean I have it?).

Many farmers that log in through third party partners don't even have the option of the cinema.

How about a mini event that discounts the price of BBs?

 

RE: Renzo's Fair. I'm fairly new to this game. (Jan 2014) I enjoy playing everyday. . . . but. It is real hard to advance or participate unless you spend lots of $$$$. I've been reading and waiting for Renzo's fair, since I have not yet experienced it. This was my first fair and my last. The prices and the total lack of ability to get BB (unless you drop a ton of $$ on it) has crossed the line for me. I don't mind spending money on something I enjoy. (Check out how much I have spent!!) But in all honesty, I'm offended and insulted. Your Cinema doesn't work half of the time either. So, therefore, Big Point I am closing my wallet and you won't see another penny until things change. Change the way we earn Barnyard Bills. Change your prices. Greed will only cost you your customers as you have lost me.

 

Hi Bhodho - did you really think I was going to divert via Botswana to meet you in the RSA? It takes two flights from here to reach South Africa. We only have three flights a week to Windhoek. I thought we were going to meet up at OT airport and settle into a bed and breakfast and watch cinema till we had gathered enough bbs for the next event. I have been sitting there for days - in my imagination - waiting for you and checking every flight from Botswana for your arrival. What happened to you? The best laid plans of mice and men oft gang agley.

I have to say that I probably prefer the Mini Events over the regular Events, except for additional Cloud Rows or Deco Items that you can only score through the long Events.
After all this time playing, Baby Boom and Moonlight Mania are by far my favorites, probably due to the usual disappointment that follows Mystery Stable and Secret Seedling.
I also enjoy Trans-Seedlantic Express and the San-Gigantica Express, but it would be more fun to be able to gift and trade the items in order to complete the collection (yes, I'm a collector.....if there's an item I don't have I'll try to get it during Gift & Trade).
To go back to the beginning.......I like Mini Events

 

Hi Bhodo - did you fall prey to a typo. I am sure you mean "lobola". Did you exchange cows or crap metal?

 

Lobola requires real cows not crap metals. But either way you get quarantined...

 

This month MM was the best ever!!! Thanks guys for extending it, may this could become a habit
