I must say I am more than a little disappointed by this postponement of Halloween 2014. -.- I can't help but think of the MM crops I missed bc I decided to plant long crops for the ecto drops and now my fields will sit idle until the "bugs" are resolved. What a waste of time :(:(:(

I too am disappointed that the event has been postponed, not least because I have visitors this weekend and hoped to get the bulk of the crops grown before then. I geared my whole day to be free for the start and now I must wait. I will not have time to grow enough event crops to fill all my fields before I go to bed tonight. I sincerely hope there is at least one whole days extension. I am really looking forward to this though and will wait patiently till the time comes to start.

I'd have to agree that it is disappointing that the start is delayed. But the inability to provide us with a definitive start time, is for me the greater disappointment. In some parts of the world a 4 pm - 6 pm in Germany start time is a 2 am - 4 am start time for them. For a game that prides itself on being a "family friendly" game, that is a very unfriendly start time. With no clue if it will be closer to the 2am or the 4 am.

I understand that there is no consideration regarding any other time zones when it comes to start and finish times. And I know not everyone will be happy with the the start/finish times on occasion, for their own various personal reasons.

But an airy-fairy start time is no help to anyone, regardless of their time zone because it means making plans and arrangements to be available to start the event is impossible.

And with the many thousands of event crops needed it seriously undermines peoples' abilities to make the best use of the limited available time.

I'm sure I wont be the only one not happy about this. And I'm equally sure that there are others that will benefit from it.

But I can only speak for myself when I say that I am not happy about it.

I totally understand why it's postponed. Better to offer a good product without glitches, than a glitchy product and have major complaints to deal with when things don't work. Just sayin'. :music:

I agree. However, I would rather have them delay for 24hrs rather than this "up in the air" 2-4 hr. delay. It makes all our strategy go right out the window. After all All Hallows Eve isn't until Friday. Not everyone can keep on top of their farm all day waiting.

I'm thinking that this Halloween Mini Event is a complete bust, why bother? You're asking for a HUGE amount of product for some
meager rewards, the enormous amount of Super-Grow, time and energy required is just not equal. Considering the amount of animals that you're asking for, the plant numbers are too high. (BTW I don't understand, does anyone really care about stickers?)

100% agree as there have been so many BH seedlings and dawn stables as rewards that they are not rare anymore, they are no longer a reward. Most of the "rare" BH fruit sells for only 30-40 CC. I would much rather trees and stables be kept rare and see more Barter/Trade events.
    Don't care about stickers.

I'll grow plants as my time allows me, but without any rush to finish anything, nor any strategizing. Prizes are not bad, but not interesting/motivating/rare enough to bother.

IMHO, cloud raw should be on last stage of the quest, always. Most frustrating thing is getting it, and not being able to finish last step and win last peace of deco. What to do with another empty, useless, row?

Good point is EP tied to level, please keep it, it makes sense much more then fixed number for everyone.

All in all, it's ok event, but nothing special.

Was disappointed in the late start here down under, I had to go to bed before event started -.-

Am also disappointed with the crops. The event crops are so much nicer than the new ones we got with MM. Please BP can we keep them :inlove:

The city and new MM graphics were awesome :) Great work has gone into the deco items again :inlove: Where did you get the inspirtation for Freddy Bear? From one of teddy's bad days xD:DxD

Ditto. I do not care about the stickers either. Wish they were something we could sell back during a gift/trade event.

First off, I do have understanding for the decision to postpone the event start. If this is done to ensure a smooth run of the event I'm all for it, better this way than some people/regions being able too play and others not. Maybe the start time could've been chosen better, maybe pushing it out 24hrs instead of hour by hour. Again there is probably hardly a golden middle to suit everyone.

For the crops that were chosen I have too admire whoever is doing the design on this kind of things, as someone already pointed out some of them are much nicer than some of our regular crops.....so why not keep them?

Also the cloud row is more satisfying than others, the given reward is useful and more rewarding than many other Event Cloud Rows.

For the difficulty of the requirements I would say it is a little more challenging due to asking for the 4hr crop, then the 6hr crop and switching back to the 4hr crop.....it takes some planning (and patience) to get the seeding of each done in order......

My love for stickers has also waned since the lovely album was mothballed. Sad. Loved to "turn" the pages and gloat over my achievements. I played when the first sticker was awarded - now I don't
