Hey friends, I know it is not yet posted in this FAQ's, but I have seen the German one.
Looks challenging.
Due to limited time, I just start and please feel free to add, when you see the FAQ's.

We need:60.000 EP of event crop,
15.000 of the 8 Hour crop,
10.ooo of the 4 Hour crop,
950 lights,
32 windmill arms
3 windmill production pens.

We also nee blue prints for the workshops. I just couldn't find how many.

The first quest is timed, (grow the 60.000 worth event crops in 24 h), we have to build the workshop, and it works with mole feed and/or PF.

I haven't done the math yet, how many plants we harvest with the 60.000 EP's. I think we keep the plants for the following levels.

The workshop needs 10 nails, 1 hammer, 5 planks, 1 blueprint .

 

My first question would be, Dienstag, if the EPs yielded by buffs on those event crops would be counted for the timed objective or not. The difference would be humongous if they would -and ZAB, EM and SRJ will skyrocket in price in mkt).... Time for achieving the goal can be thus reduced to less than 40% by combining buffs.

(Now I understand why ZAB was wiped out from my mkt: only 1 offered; I think, then, they will work and those EPs will be counted for; but we need confirmation).

Total requirements

EP from harvesting event plants	60.000 EP
Glitter poppies (8h)	15.000

Windmill sails (From sail shop)	32
Sail shop (Event workshop)	3

The event workshop (sail shop) is build using 10 nails, 1 hammer, 5 wood and 1 blueprint. 3 blueprints are awarded in task 2, so one can build a maximum of 3 sail shops. The sail shop runs on mole feed (no moles!).

I have gathered some useful info about the first task (timed 24h), from the questions asked on the German forum:

• The first task counts how much EP/BEP you get from harvesting event plants. You still get both the plants and the EP/BEP.
• Bonuses from buffs count, for instance from:
  • Pets: Owls, crows, dragons, unicorn
  • Zucchini-apple-bread, +60% for 18h, gold slot
  • Carrot bread, +20% for 4h, silver slot
  • Easter marmalade, +30% for 12h, gold slot
  • Spring wreath, +30% for 12h, gold slot
  • Sweet rose jam, +20% for 8h, gold slot
  • Remember we only have 2 gold slots. Did I forget any buffs?
• Without using any buffs, it is not possible to get to 60.000EP

An example on how to get enough EP using most of the farm: The farm has 776 plots in total (all land unlocked).​

• • Plant glitter poppy overnight, eat ZAB & 4 CB & CAC (doesn't help EP), activate any pets, start the timed quest and harvest
  • Plant and harvest sneezewort 4 times

Glitter poppy gives 48EP per 2x2, i.e. 12EP per 1x1 plot.
Sneezewort gives 32EP per 2x2, i.e. 8EP per 1x1 plot.


The bonus for ZAB is 60%, from CB 20%, total 80% bonus. The green thumb rune gives 10% extra if unlocked.
Use 760 plots without the rune, 720 with the green thumb rune.

Overnight harvest yields:

760*12EP*1,8 = 16.416EP or 720*12EP*1,9 = 16.416EP (with rune)​

Each of the next 4 harvests of sneezewort yields:

760*8EP*1,8 = 10.944EP or 720*8EP*1,9 = 10.944EP (with rune)​

In total we get:

16.416EP+4*10.944EP = 60.192EP ​

There are many ways to reduce the number of plots needed:

• Using pets and/or adding for instance EM
• 5 harvests of sneezewort during the day
• Another overnight harvest of glitter poppy before the 24h runs out

Be ware: You can not do this timed quest more than once. If you don't reach the full 60.000EP you get part of the reward and move on to the next task. Don't start the timed quest until you have enough plants, I would say 500-750 of each.

Mir, LOL: You were answering my question while I was typing my comment. Best combination, of course, is ZAB+EM+CB or ZAB+SprWr+CB.

This is the 2nd event that we have not had FAQ in timely manner and have had to rely on our generous farmers who can read German to share the info with us to help prepare for the event. Thank you both Mir and Dienstag!

If you have the rune, using 720 plots gives the same result as using 760 plots without the rune. I have edited my post.

In preparation, and as a way of funding other buffs, like ZAB, if they happen to be too expensive in mkt, plant wheat and carrots by the truckloads and make CBs: they are already selling at 140% over its typical price (already profitable) in my mkt.

In my mkt, then, CB is now performing at a 120% profit (if you consider 100 CCs as a virtual cost per salt unit) or a staggering 500% (if you don't) whereas ZAB is performing at 68% and 108% profit for the same comparison. It's a good shortcut for lower level players to get to the most juicy buffing stuff: make CBs for sale, buy ZAB/EM/SprWr/SRJ.

SRJ is still selling in my mkt at below the cost of making it --> it's also an opportunity: it won't be tomorrow anymore.

And EM increased its typical price by 60% (always profitable, now its profit increased to 470% and 695%, same comparison as for CB and ZAB).

Spring Wreath increased its price by 70%, and now yields profits of 55% and 75%, same comparison as above.

Play with all of the above to make decisions on what to make, what to buy, what to sell and what to activate and when. All your strategy should revolve around buffing: so, play the market to get this done at the minimum -if any- cost for you.

*The sail workshops take 5 hours without water to complete. The cloud row gives 40 tep x level every 20 hours.

Banjo, unfortunately no. It is possible to get two pet dragons, one from Renzo's, the other from the mentor shop, if you are a mentor.

 

40 B-EPs x Baha level / 20 hours is something worth grabbing.

 

Hi,

I feel that it is really unfair that the FAQ is already published in another forum/fansite (german) for several hours. It creates a big disadvantage to have such a big discrepancy in publishing times. The prices in the market tend to raise incredibly after it is known what other crops/animals you need; in this case the price of Zucchini-Apple-Bread has doubled already on my market (usually around 40.000 CC to 86.000 CC now) and there are only 6 offers of Carrot-Bread available altogether at the moment, not even mentioning the other EP enhancers, which are very useful/important to fill the first task of the event.

And still at this time there is no other information available on this forum except for an announcement of the event. Do I now have to start checking for FAQs in all sorts of available languages to find out about upcoming events? And how would I even get to the "german" forum? At this point all I could find was a great FAQ at a german fansite:

I know that the forum is run by volunteers and I really appreciate the great job that they are doing but this delay should absolutely be addressed by the developers team (maybe by offering a bonus code to the people depending on the information in this forum and including some EP enhancers like Zucchini-Apple-Bread and Carrot Breads).

 

Thanks for the Info Mir85 And Dienstag......The Timed Quest runs for 24 Hours as we need to Harvest 60,000 EP of Event Crops of Glitter Poppies and Sneezewort.

Glitter Poppies is an 8 Hour Crop Giving 48 EP (Using 2x2 Field) or 12 EP (Using 1x1 Field)

Sneezewort is an 4 Hour Crop Giving 32 EP (Using 2x2 Field) or 8 EP (Using 1x1 Feild)

As you can see Sneezewort Gives More EP Per Hour, than Glitter Poppies so I Advise to grow Sneezeworts during the Day and Glitter Poppies During the night in the first 24 Hours After you build up enough crops stocks to be able to complete the 24 Hour Timed Quest. Make Sure you get it Right ok. I heard that we wont be able to grow these Event Crops in All fields not sure about this sorry Mir85 it might not go to your plan !!!
