I hope that we are able to Grow Event Crops in all Fields as it would be easier to complete the 24 Hour Timed Quest, Why they say in German FAQ it cant be planted in the Park that is a bit Misleading. They should say Event Crops can be planted in All Lands Including Bahamrama Thanks Mir Anyway got My Farm ready for Comic Event 6...But it going to be bit Tight to get 950 Light Drop Items, Due to MM Event was extended.

 

I'm sorry to say this, but even if the German FAQ is to be believed more accurate, it's not possible that ALL of the other FAQs are saying the exact same thing and they are ALL wrong (it goes against the most basic statistics principles) -here above, reported as such from, at least, 3 different Latin-based languages fora and 1 slavic language forum-. Besides, Mir already clarified a couple of times the German FAQ says the same thing. Though I understood from Google Translator (my German private friend) the same she is saying, I believe her: she speaks it, for God's sake.

 

Both German FAQs have Worded it Diffferently Got it now Event Crops Cannot be Planted in the Park or in the Ship Wreck(German called it Treasure Island) other German FAQ called it Bahamarama Tut Tut Phew That a Relief

 

Yes this delay in information is having already an influence on the event as I couldn't put out all of my mammut trees in time to have them done ready to be harvested when the event starts and I agree they are asking for a lot of drops again.

I am upset that the official FAQ is still not out because I believe that most players (including me) are mostly checking the Event/Announcement section in the forum.

The least the moderators could do at this point is to make an announcement and tell people about this thread so that everybody looking at the forum could at least get the information posted here and get prepared for this completely new event mechanic.

As Mir stated before: event crops plantable on all farm fields (park excluded) and Bahamarama (Shipwreck Bay excluded)
workshop can only be placed on farm fields, not on Bahamarama

I get that ZAB, EM/SW, and CB are the best buffs but for farms that do not have pets, can anyone who has already done the math and perhaps still has their working papers (spreadsheet) tell what the minimum buff percentage is to be able to complete the first task?

My second farm has no pets and I do have one CB (farmwheel) and a couple of SRJ (event reward). Is that enough? I don't want to attempt the first task and 'waste' my buffs if I cannot be successful. The only shop I have open is Confectionery and only on level 3 so cannot make anything and buffs have either gotten too expensive or are gone altogether.

I am working the math myself, but would appreciate another person if they can to provide a check figure.

Ok, so we're clear on every 4 "plantable" fields can be used to plant event crops.
And let's assume that we should have every possible plot space available to plant, that is 772 1x1 plot (I'm not counting the four 1x1 space needed to put the owl pets, one for each field).

Required: At least 772 seeds of each event crop. Starting 24 hour timer before harvesting the 772 eight-hour seeds.
Using: Water only
Not using: Super-Grow, manure (too expensive), Suzy's super-grow.
During 24-hour: 5 harvests of the 4-hour crop + 1 harvest of the 8-hour crop (the one planted overnight)

Total EP: 49408 EP (no buffs at all)

Is this correct? Because if it is, then probably the owl pets could be enough...

 

I do not have the last zone open on Baha for BW. That temple chamber is far away! I tried to look in the Bahama FAQ to see how many plots there are and either it is not there or I can't find how many plots are associated with each 'zone.' There are 188 plots for the entire field but I don't know how many are part of that last section.

 

Arq, I get

772*12 + 772*8*5 = 40.144 (without the green thumb rune)
(772*12+772*8*5)*1.1 = 44.158 (with the rune)

@pnp: If I counted well, it's 54 1x1 plots in the last chamber

On the other hand I'm sorry to say that you forgot that it's 2 harvests of the 8-hour crop.

So, it's 49408 EP + 10% = 54348,8 EP (no buffs at all, except the rune).

In this fashion, 30% buff at all times would be more than enough. That is the rune and 6 carrot bread (5 combined with Pinkie Pie).

pnp, I don't have the last section of Baha opened and I have 132 1x1's available bc I have to use 2 spaces for my trophies so it's a total of 134 1x1's.

 

The Polish forum says that you need to complete at least 10% (6000 EP) of the first step to move on. If you don't get all 60 000 EP, just some of it, the reward will be a part of what is offered for completing the step. It's not such a big loss, considering that the prizes for step 1 aren't necessary further in the event.

 

I do not have the LL rune so must leave 2 space for my trophies:
So...I have 716 plots (200 for main and meadow, 182 glade, and 134 for Baha)

(716*12 + 716*8*5)*1.1 = 40,955


Edit: My final total was off. The phone rang with bad news in the middle of the calculation and I forgot to add the green thumb rune to part of the equation.
