Farmwheel Strategy... What is yours ?

Squigglegiggl, Egg trees are what you should wish for. If you are still working on the Fresh Eggs and/or Gertrude's Organic Eggs quests, consider purchasing eggs at the market. Eggs are usually reasonably priced in the market.

I don't sell my eggs because I think one day an event will need them and they might reach 500 CC each.

 

Agreed - egg trees would be a blessing! Take up much less room and better production - I have one, but need more, so currently use Suzi to help me boost up my harvest a little. Was simply stating that it would be nice to have lots of egg production - business is slow going right now. Don't like spending my CCs - I am very frugal, spend only when necessary, on stables, new crops (at market for cheaper price), new trees.

Many thanks TC! Anything you want/need in return (I'm a poor farmer, I confess, and won't have much to give - but am happy to try!) Do those events come around often? I've been away for a while and have lost touch with the community.

 

The event is far too infrequent squiggle, but to part with those egg famrs will be a blessing as they are covered in cobwebs and cluttering up my depot!

I really couldn't say squiggle. I seem to recall them doing it more frequently recently, but still not that often.

 

There were some bugs which kept the event away for a long time. After a trial run, we had one G&T early summer (june?) and one in august. I am hoping for another one this year

 

@squiggle ~ you actually lose money when you use the egg farms. One egg is super cheap in comparison to the 2 (or 3) chickens and a chicken feed you will feed into an egg pen. You are so much better off selling your chickens and buying the eggs!


I, like Mooboy, have lots of yellow spins (120+). I tend to be a bit particular at what I spin for lol! My normal spins are focused on level 3 and 4 breeding animals (see chart below) and minimizing low-level crafting product rewards. I also secretly harbor hopes that we will have an event with "extra special normal farm wheel prizes" lol! (Yeah, I know ~ they call those Party spins now!)

As for party spins, I follow illy's (aka Chevrefeuille's) strategy for party spins... I keep waiting for flowers to be in the top slot before I spin! I too have gotten a singing tulip, but I have only seen flowers a handful of times so far... therefore, I have a decent supply of party spins (30) on hand. Maybe I should also start looking on Party Spins for those level 8 breeding animals needed for the new products/top breeding animal quest?

 

I am now on the fourth task and I don't know if I should I spend money to buy some breeding animals to complete that task
(For me sure it that I can't complete the last task because it requires again breeding animals)
Should I go for task 4 or should I stop?

 

Aluntino posted the best strategy for animals. You have to do your own numbers. And decide for yourself if the rewards are worth the cost.

I was thinking of posting the same strategy that Aluntino did after I had completed the event. I still might need to do some buying and didn't want to get caught on the short end. It's the strategy I used for buying critters to finish off the Animal Trophy. It's a variation on the strategy I use when shopping for groceries, unit pricing.

 

I saw Aluntino's strategy and I am not sure what I am going to do maybe I will spin the wheel a few times(I have some party tickets from last events) and I will decide
