OOppss I don't stand a chance then started the countdown before looking on here, I haven't done any of the other comic parts will that matter as well???

Yes, they like to write in a confusing way. That why we had so much trouble figuring out the plantable fields.

I know that feeling. It is hard to follow all the math experts. I just look what I have in my pantry and when I have the most time to do all the harvests for the 1st step.
Need to check what works best without pets.

Poppy had already published the list of requirements (page 1):

Blueprints, as CJAT said, ("building plans" above) are indeed a reward of task 2. (All the crops you accumulate while doing the 24-hs timed task 1 should be more than enough to do task 2 immediately after, provided you've got the drops).

The best FAQ I've seen so far is, for those who can understand the language, is the Italian one, with all important subjects clearly separated and addressed; it even includes captioned images of most of the key non-straightforward aspects of this event, a table of partial rewards for those who partially complete task 1 and a pretty thorough FAQs-fashioned Questions and Answers section:

Not a good start for me. Due to a crazy RL, I didn't remember the event was today. I planted all wrong last night. Harvest 1 hour before the start (which was an hour earlier than normal for me ) I have no time today to read all the earlier pages here plus they seem to be mostly trying to figure out the FAQ anyway.

I think I got the major point though (please correct me if I'm wrong) don't "start" the event until I have about 800 of each crop and do so on my first harvest of the morning with all my pets helping the ep.

I have ZAB running but noticed some were saying to use other ep buffs as well. However, I couldn't read long enough to figure out the best option.

I didn't understand any of the FAQ () about the event but read something about a mill/workshop(?). Could someone please sum things up very briefly for me???

It's going to take all of us to figure this out...

 

It's the comic event, people. Everything, including availability of the FAQ, is comical...

 

I forgot that the event was today too so I planted some low level crops...

I haven't a lot of time to read all these pages and the only thing that I am asking is what bufs do I need to use when I start the first step. And what fields do I need to use...

Unfortunately you will just have to make the best out of the situation, I don't think there is any going back. Try to grow as many event plants as you can, use zucchini-apple-bread, carrot bread and easter marmelade/spring wreath if you can afford it. If you don't reach the goal of 60000EP, you will get part of the rewards and you can continue with the event.

Arielh: Most important thing, don't start the timed quest until you have enough plants to plant all fields and you know what to do. See my first post for an example of how it can be done. There are many ways to do it, that is just one example if you don't want to use lots of buffs

 

Pepsishot: the short version is the first post from Mir and the post from Aluntino Above.

We just try to get the 60.000 Ep's from the event crops the fastest. If you go short, you can still finish the comic but get less rewards for the 1st step.
Aluntino, how much less is it? I don't speak Italian.

Thanks. I guess Aluntino was posting when I was. Didn't see it when I wrote my questions. I think I'm on track for the event. Well, not including the drops due to my crazy planting and not event thought out planting.

 

DogDays - You use those buffs just prior to harvesting.

 

Translation of the table of partial rewards for partial completion of task1 (from the Italian FAQ -link above-):

"In case of partial delivery of total requested EPs by the time of expiry of the 24 hs window of the timed task, rewards will be obviously reduced.

"Rewards will be progressively awarded, every 6000 EPs harvested, in accordance to the following details table:

REWARD	You get 1 unit every:
Party spins	10% (6000 EPs)
Assistant coupons	20% (12000 EPs)
Mystery Seedlings	20% (12000 EPs)
Disguise Shop	100% (60000 EPs)

"Example: By delivering 12000 EPs, you get 2 party spins, 1 assistant coupon and 1 mystery seedling.

"Once you overcome the timed task, either by having delivered all of requested or by expiry of the 24 hs window, you'll be able to progress to the following tasks".

I think I finally have a plan (famous last words)
Did anyone notice drops are not showing up on the fields and they seem a little low...at least for me.

I know every things a mess but I have to say I'm actually glad it's not the same old event.....I like a challenge...Made my brain have to work

Does the EP for step 1 (60,000EP) have to come from the EVENT crops or can they come from any source IE Carnations? Thanks for clarification
