Cuckoo6 and Cuckoo Cloudrow

Well, the FAQ is out and it brings some interesting news:

* a Cuckoo Cloudrow is awarded: you need all upgraded to II EP-givers from current and all past editions, to be able to get 15xBAHA (edit: see JJenks' post#43) level B-EPs/8 hours; the items are (# of 1x1s, base EPs, time):

* two cuckoo breeding runes are introduced: with one of them you get 1 bee-cuckoo (70 stars), with the other one you get the usual PF, etc, package + 1 wooly-snout (75 stars);

* level6 tasks of Cuckoo6 quest bring along the most important rewards:
SILVER: 1 Duck Feather Collection Station Red
GOLD: 1 Duck Shelter Pink
DIAMOND: 1 Cuckoo cloudrow

This means we need 3 bee-cuckoos if you want the cloud row and just 2 if you limit to the duck coloured workshop/pen. One of those bee-cuckoos can be gotten from the rune by investing 70 stars.

I'll go for the duck coloured worshop first, because I already have enough bred-cuckoos for carefully stepping on all previous Cuckoo6 silver tasks + the 1 bee-cuckoo from the rune.

I'll see if I can get another bee-cuckoo from skips (I'll do it just if a Baby Boom is in place: I'm sure there will be one over the weekend).

I won't struggle too much to get the cloud row because:
* I have none of the EP-givers from the 3 previous editions;
* loads of PF would be needed to get both the 3 of them + the new one from Cuckoo6;
* the cloud row yields a pretty good amount of B-EPs/day but only if you are, on the dot, harvesting it every 8 hours; however, at least for me, even so would mean I'd get about 40% of what I already get from Chili Weather's row or 35% of what I already get from Comic6's row.

So, in short, let's see what skips bring along but PF needed to get all those EP-givers is hard to calculate but, for sure, an Everest-like pile. It's different if you already have those EP-givers and limit yourself to get the new one.

I'll keep calm and get what I can. But I'll try my best for the duck coloured workshop/pen.

I will definitely go after the pink duck shelter. But then I might switch too donkey breeding. Not sure the cloud row is worth it. We will see how breeding goes

Status for the previous cuckoo quests:

1. Haven't started it, will take a lot to get the upgraded item
2. Got the pink rabbit hutch, for the item I need 20 rabbit-eared and 4 punkoos
3. Got the pink goat pen, for the item I need 30 rabbit-eared and 4 bees
4. After I get the pink duck shelter, I will need 16 rabbit eared and 4 punkoos to get the item, 1 bee to get the cloud row

To get the items from quest 2 and 4 look manageable, but the the first and third item

I think the requirements in the first cuckoo breeding were excessive, and I don't want any of the stables offered (except to trade them at G&T ) so I really don't want to do that quest I will try to stay away

 

I had terrible skips last time so am starting with only 81 woolys, 3 rabbits, 2 mustache and 1 punkoo. I used up everything I had last time to get the pink goat so not much left to begin with now. I am hoping it is not a bad sign that we need such a large PF package to get through this event. Though 10 gifts to your neighbors is nice...

Another Baha cloud row! Is BP telling us something? Or just granting our wishes for more ways to earn BEP? While every bit helps and removing those items from the park will make a little room, we'll see how it goes....thankfully the quests return and do not have to be done all at once like an event.

I really would like the pink duck. Of all the pink pens, I like the pink duck and fish the best. The graphic dept at BP does a great job on pen design.

Hi all, I am aiming for all, since I managed to finish all the previous cuckoos quests on time and had all the rewards, and still have in stock some remaining bred cuckoos and over 10000 cuckoos non-bred, also I saved around 800 PF , and with the rune to get the bee-cuckoo, things looks easy to me, and why not! the rewards are great this time and a lot of power feed is there, and since I am level ninety, I am expecting the cloud row to give me (90 X 15) 1350 Bahama EP every 8 hours which is not bad I guess, but since I don't like to spend the baby boom 2 days only on cuckoos so I am going for the new offer that gives 800 PF units and 10 Pf for each of my lucky neighbors and go on breeding frenzy by building 24 breeding shacks + 4 on the Island. I've just decided to do all the Silvers, go for all of Step 6 and afterwards see if I have enough for the Mission Impunkooble items.

ops.. I didn't see it, I think because I don't think I will do this event... but I am not sure...

 

Before going for the 800 PFs package, I'll first assess if it makes sense, something I'd suggest everyone to do. Prices vary depending on the base currency of the country you are registered in and I many times noticed these special packages cost more than the sum of the fractions that get to the same result. So, once it's available, I'll see. If it's really convenient, I'll buy it. If not, I'll buy the normal XXL ones once I run out of PF.

One thing I specially dislike is that these 10 units gifted to neighbours are for sure to be counted as 10 gifts. So, if you are lucky enough to have two neighbours that buy this package, that's the maximum you'll get, provided you haven't received any gift at all that day. The 10 PFs that should come as gifts from a third one would hence get lost in the ether.

Maybe it would be wise to check with the neighbours we already know that are PF-package buyers to, at least, schedule our purchases.... LOL.

 

At least in euro it makes sense (would be strange otherwise ).

Aluntino, I'm thinking that at times in the past when I got enough gifts for one day from neighbors buying feed that I got the rest the next day. I could be wrong. Haven't had that many in a long time so don't know how it works now

That is not correct. You can receive as many as your neighbours are buying.
However,only the normal gifts would be excluded if you reach the limit this way...

I already have all the other EP givers and am starting off with around 1/2 of required cuckoos...Except for Bees
I will go straight for the cloud row then if the skips are good come back and finish off.
BP seems to be on a roll with these cloud rows offering BEP's (not that I'm complaining)
