As promised, I am hosting another MF game this week or however long it takes to guess all 10 of the MFs. I have hinted to a few that there is a secret twist to make this MF game last longer than a few days, and it is abundance. That is the essence of Thanksgiving - Abundance - AKA - too much of a good thing!

The reason for the abundance is to show our gratitude for one another. I am so grateful for BP and all you Farmers. This game came along during a time that I desperately needed something to hang on to since my RL was such a mess. Through the friendships that I meet in this game. I have been able to reestablish myself in the world and I am beginning to contribute to society/ RL again. Gratitude for everything including misery has helped me regain my life and connect with some of you so deeply. To show my deep gratitude for all you I am hosting this game.

The other importance of this particular game is that we Americans want to share this unique American (if you do not count our cousins that Canadians - hehehe) holiday with the rest of the world. I IGMed every American I knew, and asked them to write 5 statements/ stories of their impressions and memories of 5 aspects of Thanksgiving so we can help the rest of the world understand a little bit better why this holiday is so special to us Americans. Thanksgiving is truly about sharing our abundance and gratitude with others.

    The 5 topics are:
    1. Gratitude
2, Favorite Thanksgiving memories from child hood
    3. The Food!
    4. Black Friday - A shopping nightmare
    5. The catastrophes sometimes they are as much fun as everything going perfectly.

10 Farmers sent me their memories to share with you. Usually, we only have 5 MFs per game so this abundance of MFs should be a game changer. :D :D :D Plus, some of the stories are long, some are funny, and some are very touching. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did.

EDIT: To win a prize you MUST give a reason. The wackier the better. We all need some laughter to settle our stomachs after eating a big meal.

Since this game will be more difficult than in the past the Grand Prize for naming all 10 in the correct order will reflect this difficulty. 1st, each person to correctly identify each individual MF will get a CAC. The Grand Prize winner will get the following: CAC, ZAB, EM, MOS, Lagos, Spring Wreath, PPP, Tiki thing, CB, Pretzel, Pumpkin Pastry, Oat Bread, Strawberry Muffin, Gingerbread man, Quiche, Cheese Ball, Apple Jam, Pink Jelly, Eggnog, Lavender Jam, Pumpkin Jam, Guava Jam, Sweet Rose Jam, Banana Jam, Valentine Pot, White Innocence, a Frog, and a Red Fish. The Animals will be during next B&T. (Again Abundance)

The 10 participating MFs can win a CAC for correctly guessing first another MF, but unfortunately they are excluded from winning the Grand Prize.

AS usually, MF games have nothing to do with BP or the Mods so please do not bug them about anything about this game. All forum rules must be followed. My 1 rule is nothing negative at all either in the forum or in an IGM. Anyone caught being negative will be disqualified from winning a Prize. Mods are welcomed and encouraged to join in on this fun.

Lastly, I hope I do not get in trouble for posting the longest post in Farmerama History. HeHeHe

    1. What are you grateful for?
I'm grateful for everything. My family, friends and living somewhere where I have the freedom to follow God as I wish. I'm grateful even for the bad things (maybe not at the time). When bad things happen there are lessons to be learned and they help me to appriciate the good things even more.

    2. Favorite memory from childhood.
My favorite memory was helping my mother to prepare all of the food. My job was to roll out the dough for the pie crusts and help to make the pies. I would feel so proud when everyone raved about how good the pies were.

    3. The food!!!!
We have the usual Turkey (stuffed and roasted), sausage/sage stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, candied yams, green beans with bacon and onions, cranberry sauce (smooth not chunky), green salad, rolls, pumpkin, apple and lemon meringue pies, spiced cider, coffee and cocoa (for the kids).

    4. Black Friday
A time when crazy people sit in line all night so they can buy some over-priced items at a big discounted price. My experience: Got to the store at 1am and was about the 15th in line. I was there to buy a Nintendo game system that came with 3 games for $40 (less than half price), they only had 10 units for that price but I knew exactly where they were. The doors opened and I didn't bother getting a cart. I managed to get one but had to deal with an insane husband and wife who tried to knock me down to take it from me. I had to fight them off until security came. I got other deals that morning also but never again have I given up my sleep to deal with crazy people.

    5. Your worse nightmarish catastrophe on Thanksgiving.
One year about an hour before I was expecting about 35 guests my son came to me saying he didn't feel well. Lo and behold he had Scarlett Fever (didn't know what it was at the time). I thought I would lose my mind. I spent the whole day running back and forth entertaining guests and dealing with a quarantined 7 year old, who wanted to leave his room to play with his cousins.

    Mystery Farmer - 2

1 - I am grateful for....lol, all the usual suspects - family, good health, new job that is tough but great, nice house, wonderful friends

2 - Fav memory from childhood...actually was Christmas and Thanksgiving! We would all get together, share a meal, spend the day watching parades and specials on tv (like the mini series Shogun or everyone's fav The sound of music!). The kids would all play, the women all in the kitchen cooking, laughing having fun, the guys in the living room watching football! All day was great!

3 - Yum - o! Food! Ok deep fried turkey, 24 hour salad, home made stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, pumpkin pie, apple pie, corn casserole.....and the leftovers (because as a general rule you MUST cook too much food, lol) as sandwiches tomorrow! Inviting friends and family to share is pretty awesome too!

4 - Black Friday-- OMG! Ok, so to me Black Friday is the day after thanksgiving that the stores have some pretty ok deals to get people out shopping. ... in masses...waiting in lines the day before (yes they sleep in line in tents)...and shove each other out of the way to get what they want......you know - the day after we celebrate how thankful we are for what we have. Yeah, I stay home and hug my kids lol Now ....The day AFTER Christmas I shop like crazy! 75% off !!! YES!!!!!

    5 - The Thanksgiving that wouldn't die....
So I'm cooking a turkey in the oven, friends over, work schedules to consider, tons of kids and starving people. Throw turkey in the oven, cook all the goodies to go with it! So happy! Check turkey....taking awhile, but ok......wait awhile, check turkey....still cooking.....check turkey...kids starting to whine....check turkey...Its been hours what the blood h*ll is wrong with this turkey?!?!? Feed people snacks and veggie trays to hold them over. Check turkey....cuss ALOT !!! Its been 9 blooming hours whats wrong with this freaking turkey???OMG!! I don't get it! It's like....like....the oven....quit working....oh, wait....the oven.....quit.....working.... OMFG!!! LOL ....haaaaaa!!! Anyone for pizza? lol

    Mystery Farmer - 3

    1. What are you Grateful for?
For me, Thanksgiving has always been about family coming together over food. We would gather together at my grandparents' house before the meal to help prepare for the meal. The kids would help set the tables with large white tablecloths, grandma's china, silverware, glasses and paper napkins. The adults would cook together in the kitchen, eat together, clean up together, and then sit and talk together. Meanwhile us kids would help to clean up after the meal as asked. Then after helping, we would dig out games and puzzles from the attic or run and play outside. Toward the end of the day, we would all gather together again to reheat leftovers from the noon meal and eat our evening meal on paper plates. (No more washing dishes!) Then we would all leave to drive home in the dark. As for what am I grateful for? I am very grateful to have grown up as a part of such a loving, and caring family.

    2. Favorite memory from childhood.
My favorite memory from childhood would have to be the pre-meal relish tray! (It was two crystal/glass trays filled with various pickles, olives and even pickled beets!) Everyone in the house would nibble on it before the meal - but the best part was sticking black olives on all our fingers and hearing the adults laugh as us younger cousins chased each other around with black olives on all our fingers!! Some of the adults (my dad) put a stop to that when he saw how quickly we were eating all the olives! His reasoning was that we needed to save some for “other people”.

    3. The Food!!!!!
Since we had lots of people for our Thanksgivings, we had lots of food! I'm not sure if we had more than one turkey or not, but I know we did have more than one oven! Some of the side dishes include: cauliflower with cheese sauce, dinner rolls with homemade jam, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, home canned green beans, jello salads (jello with various fruit or shredded carrots), fruit salad (chopped or canned fruit drained and mixed together with cool whip and/or coconut and nuts), deviled eggs, stuffing, plus canned sweet potatoes sprinkled with brown sugar and smothered in oven-toasted mini-marshmallows. One year we also had a pheasant. We also had pies a bit later in the afternoon: apple, pecan, pumpkin, cherry, and sometimes apricot. And of course, cool whip and vanilla ice cream.

    4. Black Friday
My family was not big on Black Friday. The only childhood memory I have from Black Friday was going with my mom to a local clothes store that was having a “half of half” price sale (75% off). My mom told me that if I saw anything I thought I might like, to put it in the basket. She explained that if I didn't and decided I did want it later, that it would be gone.
    5. Your worse nightmarish catastrophe on Thanksgiving.

I don't remember any Thanksgiving catastrophes. The closest we ever came was the year that the lemon meringue pies were more like lemon meringue soup! A certain family member was very sad and later puppy dog-eyed his way into new pies just for him!

    Mystery Farmer - 4

#1 I'm Grateful that I'm not cooking this year. I'm also Grateful for another year of many blessings.

#2 As a child Thanksgiving meant time off from school. My father would take us kids camping. One Thanksgiving my dog took off into the woods barking, I followed to find him barking at what I thought was a black and white cat...wrong, it was a skunk. When we got home Mom was not happy with the smelly situation. Tomato juice baths for us.

#3 The food is where it is all at. You have your Turkey/stuffed with an oyster stuffing, Ham, every veggie from corn to my favorite roasted brussell sprouts. My special dish is mushrooms stuffed with crab stuffing. But the dessert Table, now you could gain 10 lbs just by looking at it. Pies, cakes, cookies, fruits. Yum

#4 Black friday, I did that Once! Waited in line before before the sun had come out only to see people get pushed, shoved, and yelled at for the silliest toys. Not for me, I do Cyber Monday.

#5 As a newlywed I decided to invited both sides of the family to Thanksgiving at our house. Got up early that morning to put the turkey on to bake. A few hours later we realized the temp was not right in the oven and was getting lower. It ended up we cleared out the freezer, pulled out the grill and had grilled chicken, pork, hamburgers and hotdogs. Needless to say we have never had Thanksgiving at my house again.

    1. what are you grateful for
I am most grateful for my family and our health.

    2.favorite memory from childhood
Gathering with Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Great Aunts and Uncles, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and my Mother, Fathe brothers and Sisters. With all the genrations gathered at a rented hall at the church, there were over a hundred of us. It was so much fun catching up with all the others and getting into trouble and just having a wonderful time. Holidays now are much quieter as there are less people able to make it, but we still have quite a few.

    3. the food
Turkey, dressing, cranberries, many different vegetables, many types of salads, many different breads, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and way too many different desserts, pies of every kind, cakes, whatever. When so many gather, everyone brings a side dish or dessert. With so many families, it means there is a lot of variety available.

    4. black friday
The day after Thanksgiving. I did this once years ago and I really don't like the crowd so I tend to stay home. Stores open on Thanksgiving afternoon and are open all night into Friday, trying to draw a crowd of shoppers. There are fantastic deals available on a limited amount of merchandise and the lucky ones to get the deal have a fantastic price. I prefer to stay home and shop on the internet as you can get some great deals there also without needing to drive, park and fight the crowds.

    Mystery Farmer - 6

    1. I am grateful for my faith, family and friends, all of which make life beautiful when sharing the joys and more bearable when sharing the sorrows. And chocolate! All things are much better with chocolate!

    2. My favorite memories of childhood center around holidays with family, singing in the choir at church, and furry friends. Christmas was, like many children, my absolute favorite time of the year and still remains so as an adult.

My favorite Thanksgiving memories are dinner at Granny's (1:00 pm) and again at Grandma's (6:00 pm). My siblings and I are the only grandchildren on my dad's side so the family gathering was fairly small but there are 15 grandchildren on my mom's side so we had cousins by the dozen to play with that we only saw on holidays and other family functions. We never ate on time and would help Granny in the kitchen. The house always smelled so good with all those wonderful things baking and it was hard to wait until everything was ready and on the table. Gramps would lead the prayer and then we could eat! After dinner and then dessert, we would help Granny with the dishes and visit with the family before it was time to do it all over again at Grandma's.
At Grandma's there were so many people that we younger children had to sit at the kid's table. I remember longing to sit at the 'grown up' table in the formal dining room. We helped Grandma with the dishes too and then played with cousins until time to go home. Grandma and Granddaddy lived on a 300 acre farm and the house sat back from the road about 1/3 mile. We were not allowed to go to the pond but we could play outside just about anywhere. There was a basketball goal above the garage door but we had to be careful not to hit the cars with the ball. I can still hear my grandmother calling not to slam the door and to not hit the Cadillac. Indoors we played marbles, cards, Chinese checkers, colored, and listened to family stories of 'Back when...' The music room had a piano and organ and we were allowed to 'play' them but at that time we only knew simple songs and made up what we did not know. I am sure it was not 'music' to the adults' ears.

    3. The traditional dishes of my childhood are still served at our family Thanksgiving dinners. My aunt made raw vegetable tray with dip that we could snack on while we waited for dinner. We had turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, green beans, corn pudding, broccoli casserole, rolls, and jello salads. For dessert we had pumpkin, pecan and mince pies. A few variations have been made to accommodate health issues and allergies but these dishes remain family favorites each year. Drinks were always sweet tea and coffee at dessert.

    4. Black Friday puts me in a black mood. I live an hour from the stores. Heavy traffic, large crowds and long lines are not fun for me. I enjoy the quiet time after the hectic day before. One of my family members loves to shops and loves to find bargains so Black Friday is something she looks forward to each year. She becomes my personal shopper. I just give her the list and money and cross off my gift list. A few years ago a person was trampled and died at WalMart on Black Friday. There is just nothing that valuable that I must have that day during that madness no matter how much of a discount it is on sale for.

    5. I have 2 Thanksgivings that were memorable for being catastrophes. The first, I must have been 10-12 years old. We were having Thanksgiving with Granny and Gramps. It was time for dessert and coffee. My grandmother always set a formal table with china, crystal, silver and white linen tablecloths. I was sitting next to Gramps that year and coffee was being passed in a cup and saucer(fine china with dainty handle not like the big coffee mugs used today). My aunt had filled it almost to the brim. When it came my turn to take the cup and give it to Gramps, I spilled that hot coffee all over the white tablecloth and into his lap. I was so upset that I had ruined the holiday by ruining the linen and burning my grandfather. After the spill was cleaned up, my aunt filled another cup of coffee and it was passed again down the table. I remember crying because I did not want to give it to Gramps and possibly hurt him again or make a mess but I had to and was able to hand it to him without spilling. Deep sigh of relief!
The 2nd Thanksgiving catastrophe was about 10 years ago. We had just bought the house we live in now (took possession on Nov 1) and had not finished unpacking everything. The week before Thanksgiving I was driving in the rain and lost control of my car. I hit a tree and totaled my car. I dislocated my ankle (imagine your foot doing a 180 degree rotation-- your toes are pointing behind you instead of in front) and chipped the bone of my heel. I needed surgery. All holidays are now at my house and I was not able to cook dinner. Was it cancelled? Was it postponed? Was it moved to someone else's house? No, No and No. My family all gathered here and cooked it. They had to hunt through boxes to find what they needed but we were together and gave thanks for the many blessings we had been given that year.

    Mystery Farmer - 7

    1. My Health ~ So far compared to others despite having a formerly risky occupation I have been fortunate with my health related issues.

    2. Going to an Aunt and Uncle's house for Thanksgiving dinner, our parents decided to give all 8 kids present a glass of wine before dinner to stimulate our appetite. The result: 8 buzzed kids !

    3. Got to have Turkey and all the stuffing and fixings, Pumpkin, Mincemeat, Apple and Cherry Pies. Football on the TV. Until I came into my spouses family, They being from the South had never had Mashed Potatoes for Turkey Day but, instead had Sweet Potatoes, which is One dish I can not eat for the life of me.

    4. I avoid Black Friday with a Passion. While others watch football and others shop and read ads. I am usually with my nieces and nephews working on a large Coca-Cola Puzzle.

    5. Being invited to a supervisors home for dinner and when getting to their house ALL the Power in the community went out. No generator, No Meal, No Football. We waited expecting power at any moment and wound up setting on the floor communicating. Others drove the meal to someone's house with power aways away. When they came back and started serving... The Power was restored. The lights were shut back off as we celebrated and ate!

    Mystery Farmer - 8

    1. I am grateful I grew up around extended family.

    2. This may seem odd, but some of my favorite memories of Thanksgiving as a child was the arts and crafts we did both in public and in Sunday school, also the Thanksgiving themed plays we did.

    3. Turkey, Stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, corn, candied yams, and the pies... apple, pumpkin, gooseberry. There was always lots of food leftover.

4 Black friday... I really can't go there, have never intentionally participated in black friday as a consumer. Working on that day depends mostly on where you are, in Retail it is an absolute nightmare, in other fields of work it was just another day.

    5. Most nightmarish castrophy on Thanksgiving.. Imagine being in a new environment, all the money went for rent, looking at 2 weeks til anyone gets paid, and the only food in the house is a gallon jar of pickles, a giant can of yams, a bag of whole walnuts, pecans, and almonds, all still in shells. some flaked coconut, and a partial bag of marshmallows.... and a can of pineapple. Mom was at work, older sister at work and younger sister out running around ,little brother at school and everyone would come home wanting something to eat....I spent hours shelling all those nuts, everything except the pickles went into a huge corning ware dish and into the oven to cook... I can't even describe how antsy I was ,wondering if I would be in trouble with everyone for emptying the basically bare cupboards completely for one meal... not to mention the shells scattered everywhere, don't ever let anyone tell you shelling nuts is a clean job! lol I think I had shells stuck in my hair for a week ( even with washing it daily). I had nearly worried myself sick before it was ready, And didn't think that one dish would be enough for 6 of us. I could so relate to the story of old mother hubbard. Something pretty strange ( miraculous ) happened that day, not only was there enough food for all of us, there was actually almost 1/2 left over. My older sister had called in a guess on a radio program for some contest they were doing... and after dinner tells us she had won a $500 shopping spree, at a local grocery store. yeah I know, supposed to be a castrophy, and I will say without a doubt it was a castrophy for me to dream up a wild concoction for dinner with absolutely no meat in the house. Being in that situation I can tell you the whole time I was praying, and even with the doubts God still saw fit to answer prayer beyond what I had hoped for.

    Mystery Farmer - 9

    1. I am grateful for my husband and my in-laws, who love and accept me as I am, imperfections and all. I am thankful for my boys, who drool and howl and generally drive me nuts, but are the closest thing to perfect friendship I've found on this earth. I am grateful for my health and the ability to enjoy the things I like to do. I am grateful for the friends I've made here on Farmerama, who don't mind that I'm goofy and silly and horribly forgetful (hint, hint lol).

    2. I remember Christmas and Thanksgiving warmly. Christmas was held at my grandpa's house, with my aunt hosting (she moved in to take care of him after my grandma passed away). My mom always hosted Thanksgiving at our house, and she'd be up way before dawn baking pies and getting the turkey and ham going. I still remember the pies lined up on our dining room buffet, banana cream, lemon meringue, and of course pumpkin (my favorite was banana cream, yum!). I always tried to pick food off platters before dinner, but mom wouldn't let me, which never failed to send me into a pout LOL. Dinner was a formal affair, we all dressed nicely in dresses and skirts, and my aunt and her kids and my uncle and his family, and sometimes my military aunt, would all be there. I still miss our big family holidays.

    3. I am making the majority of the dinner this year, as my MIL is 88 and deserves to not have to take it on herself, tho she wants to make a ham. I'll be making a wild turkey (the bird, not the booze :p), which is a dead give away to my identity to some farmers, and all the trimmings; mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, dressing, corn, gravy, and chocolate dream pie, with maybe a pecan thrown in for good measure ;).

    4. I don't do Black Friday. I can't think of a single thing I need or want that would get me out to stores Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving, lol. I prefer to do my bargain hunting the new fashioned way - the internet.

    5. My very first Thanksgiving with my husband, it was just the 2 of us. I had the dinner all planned, had the turkey in the oven, was preparing the other food, and my dear one decided he wanted to go for a drive, and oh yes, of course we'd be back before the bird was done in 2 hours! We weren't. Roughly 6 hours later we returned home. If you've ever seen National Lampoon's Christmas vacation, you'll remember the scene where they're all set down to dinner, and she brings out the turkey and it looks wonderful, all golden brown and lovely, and then Chevy Chase cuts into it and it deflates? My poor turkey made that bird look delicious; it had literally turned to powder. I was in tears, I was so upset. It's funny now, but back then I was devastated, not to mention highly irate, LOL. I don't remember what we had for dinner, but it certainly wasn't turkey :D.

    Mystery Farmer - 10

    1. I am grateful to be able to have my Mother in Law come and live with us. This way I know she will be taken care of in a comfortable manner.

    2. Favorit memories is always when the whole clan would meet at our house and celebrate Thanksgiving. My grandmother was an amazing woman. I would be amazed when she would tells us how much carbs and such were in each food (she was a diabetic). She would even go light on her breakfast and lunch just so she could enjoy the yams and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

    3. The food!!!!! Oh my, there was the turkey with stuffing (the stuffing had everything in it), hard tac, white mashed potatoes, yams, corn and green beans, cranberry sauce and rolls. There was also coffee and milk. Desserts were the traditional pumpkin pie with whipped cream and apple pie with ice cream!!!!!!

    4. I haven't ever done Black Friday. To me Christmas time starts on December 1 and last until the first weekend in January.

    5. The first time I made the hard tac and burnt it. I was in tears, but my Dad told me it just added a little extra flavor.

Edit: I have made a few corrections since this was originally posted. Added information is in bold.

I'm going to guess #6 is BlazngBlades and #7 is Banjoman, I need to reread everything before guessing any others because I got lost... lol

BTW #5 is missing the 5th question

edit: #6 Is BlazingBlades because she isn't very close to stores and she would feel really guilty if she harmed someone (gramdpa's coffee)
#7. Is Banjo because of the reference to the past profession and I could just see him as one of the "buzzed" kids.

I can't say if any of the guesses are correct or not since they do not have reasons. Of course this is my falut since I forgot to put this condition in the announcement that a reason must be given in or to win a prize. So if those who made a guess go back and edit their posts with some reasons, then I can tell you if you are correct or not.

Yea! for Arielh for putting a reason, but sadly your guess is incorrect.

Yipee! 87 views even tough we have only had a few guesses. I guess these statement/ stories need time to digest. Just like a Thanksgiving meal.

I am going to bed. If I have time, I will check in the morning to see if anyone made any guesses. Then I will be gone till the evening to be with friends. Happy Thanksgiving even for all you non-Americans. May everyone have a Blessed day.

Yes, Ann - You are correct! I will send you a Bread Roll for catching that #5 does not have #5. I am not sure if the MF left it off or I lost it when I coped and pasted it.

Ann - you are getting a CB in stead. I am all out of Bread Rolls right now.

Hurrah, for another MF, it was such a long time ago!! Hurrah, for sglick for hosting it!!

And what an interesting theme for us who don't celebrate Thanksgivings. All I know is that it involves lots of yummy food (turkey with trimmings) together with friends and family, and it all ends with Black Friday (where you get unbelievable bargains if you got sharp enough elbows).

I'm going to enjoy reading all the statements and trying to figure out who's who, and learning about this Holiday whilst doing it. :)

The game is a lot trickier than before with 10 Farmers but we have the advantage of knowing they are all from the US (or maybe Canada - no idea if they celebrate it or not?).

Thanks sglick, let the guessing begin and I hope you're having a fabulous Thanksgiving right now! I'm off to read the clues.... :p

slgick, wow, this is such an impressive collection of stories and memories, great idea! I love what I'm reading so far! I am not sure I know anyone well enough to make guesses yet, but I will see if I am struck with inspiration later on after I read them over again.
Suzee, you cracked me up so much with your Clue reference. LOL! xD

hatzeva, they do, it is sometime in October. Where I live, we get many Canadian shoppers coming down 'round their holiday weekends. I'm not sure if it is the extra time off they have for bargain hunting down here that makes it so much more noticeable than normal....there was quite a crush at the border around mid-October.

.So here goes my first guess:
    1. X
    2. X
    3. Dienstag - such a nice person that never had a catastrophe with a turkey. I bet we wont get to hear about what really happened :)
    I'm sure Dienstag is #3!
    4. Brooke - 100% false. "I'm not cooking this year"...I wouldn't never ever believe that. It is a false statement, and Brooke is 100% sure to be #4
    5. X
    6. CJAT - the 3rd word gave it away, Faith! I know nobody with as much faith as CJAT! Easy.
    7. Banjo - because of the short sentences. Sounds like a true Marine!
    8. PnP - that gentle approach could only come from PnP.
    9. Blazie?
    10. I believe it's baw

Yes, I had a fantastic Thanksgiving. It started off trying capture 3 wild Raccoons - only caught 2. A mother and its baby. It ended with a great Turkey dinner with all the trimmings and an interesting conversation that went from Heavy Metal bands to conservative view on Presidents to gun rights to wanting to shoot wild turkey during Moose season. I did a lot of smiling while trying to be non-committal. I am an anti - gun, anti - shooting animals Liberal Country music fan. I went to my friends home who I have not seen for ever and had dinner with her family. I knew what I was in for and still managed to have a good time.

Someone did guess correctly 1 MF in the right position. The only hint I will give is their is gone to be a controversy over who gets the CAC. There might be a reason behind this controversy.

Tinni - and Heidels - Just guess anybody and stick an absurd reason. You have just as much of a chance winning a CAC as someone who has been around forever and knows everything and everyone. This are really hard with few to no clues in them. So the people who know everyone really do not have an advantage.

One of the MFs sent me a correction for their post. I read it quickly before I ran out the door this mourning. I will go figure it out and make the nessacery corrections on the 1st page.
