Feedback: Wonder Stables

I would suggest "broiler" instead of "roaster". Tasty either way.

 

I had a busy weekend, so didn’t find time to write earlier, but would like to leave a few words here

I’m probably in the minority, but I’m very happy with the 8 hour time of waiting. I usually put the seedlings out for the night so longer time of growing doesn’t matter for me, but the additional EP with 200% EP bonus from Mega EP Day looks really nice

I wasn’t lucky enough to get the new rooster stable, but from 20 seedlings at least I got the frogs that I didn’t get last time. This gives me hope that I will get the rooster next time

The changes in the system maybe didn’t made much difference for players who have a lot of stables in their inventories and want to win only new or rare things, but for me it’s at least better to have a bigger variety in won stables. It was really annoying when after buying 20-30 secret stables, at least half of them turned into orange fish ponds for example.
On the pretty high level that I have and with hundreds of stables that I’ve got in the inventory almost each new stable is useless, but I really do prefer to see some difference in won stables, even if they are low level ones among them.

IMHO the secret/wonder stables, no matter how you call them or what system you use, will lose fans with each edition and leave many unhappy players, until something will be done about two main problems:
1. lack of space on the farm (hold my fingers for Varun and the idea he wrote about in his newsletter);
2. making them useful.
Right now the mine reason that leads players to get new stables is just the “ I must have that” rule. After getting it the stables lands in the inventory anyway, as there is no place on the farm to put them out, and no reason to do that (stables in fact gives usually poor EP, and the animals are rather useless).

 

I agree with Rockowa....but also have a few new points....first I don't mind spending a little more bb's to get a better/higher value/colored pen (per my level). I also really like having the option to harvest early and combining it with a Mega EP day was brilliant!

However, if we have to wait over 10 days for the newest animal to be available to sell on the market or appear in FHO's........ that takes most of the fun out of it! It's like receiving a new bike or toy for Xmas, and being told you cannot play with it for 2 weeks.

p.s. I see the new roosters have appeared in the market, but not available to sell yet. I hope BP has sped up this process! please!

 

Hi, Brookeham.......good news! The Rooster market is open! I sold my first three today...

 

I'm a little behind the curve on this, been on days off with not much online time the last few days. Congratulations to everyone who was able to get roosters! Overall, I enjoyed this event more than recent ones where we got flooded with certain pens. The most repeats I got was 3 hamsters. Got a wonderful red fish and red horse (always happy to see red and pink), a few oranges (which I find handy as the fewer of one type stable I have to set out, the better), and am more than happy with the rares I got (another frog to go with my 2nd hedgehog, among others, yippee!). Somehow I even managed to get a rooster out of it, and while it may be a useless pen, it makes me laugh to watch them fight . Still not crazy about the 8 hours wait, but I suppose I can live with that. And, I agree with Brooke, combining stables and mega EP day was a savvy, and appreciated, move, so thank you BP for that!

 

The Rooster is not a Roaster, I don't know who is developing the new animals or stables but it is kind of tricky to introduce a chicken stable on steroids (Rooster) if there is a almost identical name already used in the game for a breeding animal....Strangely this is affecting the chicken more often than others......appearance of the famous crazy chicken after the cuckoo had to leave the stage and reappear as a special event breeder.....

 

No thread on the new Midnight wonder stables, so I guess this is the place to comment?

Disappointed by the price increase (wasn't it 5BB last time? (EDIT-- apparently I was wrong on that.. see following post), but it was probably inevitable.

Even so, not too disappointed by the results. No groundhog, but I did get a fox, a stork and an orange pigpen.

 

No, as long as I know, the price has been 15 BB for stables, the trees are 5 BB

Actually it is much easier getting wonder stables now. They are quite often prizes at events, and sometimes in FSQ's. About a year ago, that never happened (as I can remember). Mystery seedlings were sometimes given as super special prizes.

 

Looks like the new farmer quest does this to some extent. So, that part was heard!
