Competition Winter Competition: Food Art Crafting - Discussion thread

Hi help!! i posted 3 pics for the competition the first 2 i can see but the 3rd i couldnt so i tried again but did it different and i still cant see my pic.. if someone can please help and fix this i would greatly appreciate it..

I hope my post is not considered out of place because I do not have an entry for the contest but I just wanted to say that there are some very talented people here! They are all just so creative, cute, funny; I enjoy popping in and looking at them. Keep up the delicious work!

 

I still can't get it to upload!!
I used 'Filedropper' as suggested. I upload the file, select and copy the 'Embed' code, and in the Farmerama forums click 'more options' (so I get the preview) then click the 'Image' button beside the smiley and paste the code and click 'insert'....broken link!
I've also tried with the link rather than the embed code. My file size is definitely under the 5mb Filedropper states...it's a normal Jpeg...I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I've tried 4 filehosting sites now, and only one worked (and then stopped working for some reason)

Any ideas or are my files just cursed? Help!! :-(

 

Hello Shimmer! I'm so happy you have posted. Please just copy paste the code, without inserting it as a picture, if you have managed to upload them. Or, try to upload them on this site. You can just drag and drop them on the page, or select them from the "Browse your computer" option.

I don't know why all those filesharing sites weren't working for me. I did just try copypasting the code, every permutation I could think of I tried. I finally got a more technologically-minded friend to host them on their site for me - and just got them in in time

 

Well done all the winners, they were all truly wonderful compositions. I'm just very glad I didn't have to judge them! Enjoy your prizes.

 

It is a shame everyone could not have won - so many imaginative entries. Well done to the winners and the judges. I would not have liked to have chosen the winners as I loved ALL of them.

The contest provided opportunities to express ourselves creatively,having loads of fun and encouraging farmers to show the imaginatively way of farming .

There were such great entries!
Here at home, I was showing all entries to my family, daily. They have enjoyed very much this competition, too.

It must have been so tough to decide, wasn't it? Surely, there must have been several favorites to the 1st place. Papas7077 was definitely one of my favorites!

Also, I adored the sleeping cub bear from spotsbox! So cute!!! No wonder she won the sweetest award!

We had so much fun, didn't we? Great competition!!!!

shinobilen I am really sorry - we had our special judges helping us choose the winners, and we really wish everyone would have won, but unfortunately this is not possible. It was a really really hard choice, all the entries were amazing! But we don't have a reason of why one entry won or not But I am really sorry you are disappointed...

I must admit I have been doing the same, I kept showing off our thread and entries to everyone All the admins from other Farmerama communities, and from other games as well Our lovely ICM got into it as well - and that's a good sign *giggling* we shall have more similar competitions, if the boss loved it!

I'm glad to hear the mess was worth it As for your question, you can try to ask for future trees but I don't know how that will work On a serious note though, we know there are some rumours but we are unable to confirm or deny them, so yes, you can choose past or present trees, but not future ones.
