Deleted full field of Ostriches by error yesterday, bred few remaining Ostriches and got about 30% skips. And --- disappointed...

 

ops ... now that must hurt! I nearly deleted my first field of Pyroblooms and had to stop and think which button I needed to press to back out of the deletion.

So, more breeding or trying to sell skips on the market to buy necessary breeding animals Mr P? Haven't looked lately so not sure but the required animals probably sell for more than their next level up.

 

Thank you for your rational view on things, as always. This Event had me worried as I'm missing too many Breeding animals, but as Aluntino says; the Cloud Row is pretty useless.

I'm now happy and content that I'll not finish the Event but will get most of the goodies using crops and 12 House Turkeys.

Whereas I "bred ahead" on the last BBD and bred a whole bunch of level 1 animals after accomplishing the last quests objectives. I made about 3 million CCs from House Turkeys, Emu's and Clown Fish off the market !!!

 

Well, I am picking out the bits I want with this one. For me it is the BEP & secret stables to go for, without using any breeding animals at all. I don't think that the cloud row is worth it as I would probably forget to use it at the right time and the reward is not worth the effort. I am not in to stickers either so missing that one too. This event is a bit boring but the BEP is always welcome. Will be selling the relevant breeding animals to pay for manure that I need to get three event crops per day - with profit too of course !

I think the most troublesome part of this event is to make enough mouse rockets, first because of amount of droppings and even more because of long time to prepare them in the mill. Not sure if I could mill 61 mouse rockets till the end of the event. Keep on preparing them as soon as I get needed droppings. They should cut the mill time for mouse rockets as this seems almost the mission impossible!

 

I'm doing the whole event for lack of a better alternative. But I do not have House Turkeys and few Emus...

 

On BillyWhiskers, I do not have the breeding stock nor anywhere near to being able to open hibiscus so just doing what I can and then going back to animals once CAC is finished. Will raise/sell animals and manure for some nice CC. Next harvest will finish BW up...

Here on pnp, I have kept the mill going continuously. I have not donated anything yet but rather used those drops for the rockets.

I decided to breed the house turkeys because I am addicted to secret seedlings! I almost never get skips when I breed, now I'm getting skips! Figures

 

So I need two more Emus, bought 8 Ostriches, bred, and got 2 Gnome Turkeys.
Now, all of a sudden I am BP's favourite kid as far as skips are concerned, yet I get none when I need them...

 

Well... I'll finish both of them tonight (Main Farm and this Little Farm) I don't have to do the Last Level, except the 1st step...not unlocking Hibiscus for 2000+BP every 2 days...there is better things I can do with 40 GB.....I can't believe that I'm bypassing the Last Level even when I have the GB to unlock...(on my Main Farm)..

 

Will finish by tomorrow by the looks of things. I have all the crops and enough drops to finish the mouse rockets. I am so glad I have the mill subscription because I've been able to make feed and mouse rockets on Baha to keep on top.

 

Is it better to get the cloud row even if you don't have all the items to activate it or not get the cloud row at all?

 

I think it is best to get the cloud row, if possible. You may be able to trade or buy the deco item in the future. I will try for the cloud row, even if I am not able to open the Hibiscus to complete the whole event.

If I was you unlock that cloud row, even though you will not get all of the items to unlock that cloud row,,,in any event i would unlock the cloud row if it is not too much hassle, as you can always get the items to complete the cloud row at Barter and Gift Event as long the Barter and Gift does not start within 3 months of the Event Ending.

Mind you these are Highly sought after during Barter and Gift Event to get the missing givers to complete the themed cloud row,as you never know this cloud rows could actually come in handy for future events, with the coral reef coming or Third island that they might bring new drop items for the island therefore this cloud row might help in near future, as it certainly help with event drops and crafting drops to those who do crafting.

As i have 4 Howie Donuts this cloud row will boost drops up to 25% as each howie donut gives you up to 5% more each in the field it is placed in

By tonight i will have all the crops but still need drops to make mouse rockets so one more day of drops and make mouse rockets

 

I think the rate of event items drop is quite good this event, I am managing to get a fair amount every harvest, so I managed to finish all the quests except the diamond level of 6/7 just need 1 sparkling sand, also I did the silver 7/7 and waiting for drop items to finish milling the rockets for gold and diamond of the last stage, so it is a matter of few hours and I am done, I have been planting event crop on all fields and I did not need to plant higher level crops to get better drops, what I needed was the breading animals since my stock was 1 clownfish and 2 Emus, I was lucky to finish a turkey breading quest level 8 I think and the reward was 16 house turkeys, so in 3 days I managed to finish breading the required animals, and I was prepared and had all the crops before the event started, my notice on the event drop items is that I found the island have the lowest rate compare to the other fields, I had some trees and event crop there it gave me around 35 drop items of the three event drop combined, I like what Aluntino said about the cloud row and I agree with him, 35 drop items with 5 percent it is almost 37 event dropped items, not a big deal, but since I can have it why not, but between using the ep givers on cloud raw or put them in the bay it depends on your goals and how you want to play the game, it is not big deal for me to get a few more Bep so I will just put them on the cloud raw, good luck to you all and a happy new year.
