MM for Jan

Michael1877, I've been thinking about your reply to my inquiry about this months MM. I could be wrong but I seem to remember MM's being posted along with the other monthly events ever since I joined (last feb or march) I know mini events aren't posted until they are ready to come out but MM has always been listed in the monthly calendar. And you can't really go by when there is an actual fullmoon bc it seemed like MM's were happening when there really wasn't a fullmoon.

 

MM used to happen on full moon. Sometimes they would run it concurrently with other events. Thinking that we would choose. They got a lot of complaints about that and stopped with the concurrent events. And MM started happening at odd times.

I too remember seeing the date in the Preview Calendar. It can probably be found in the archives if not the same area as the Jan one.

I was noticing that the cloud row with the MM buff has a 96h, 4 day, recharge. If they only give us one or two days of advance notice for MM that means we will likely miss out on the benefit of this buff or we have to not use that cloud row except for MM. Not nice. Something needs to change. I'm not interested in moving givers back and forth from parks to clouds and back again.

 

I agree Suzee. A lot of figuring when to move things back to cloud row. If you are referring to the MM cloudrow that has the uncanny upright, Haunted Sweets, and Freddy Bear that gives 20% ep for spooky crops for 12 hrs, the cooldown is 24 hrs. I, however, am still trying to figure out when to activate it to get the most benefit from it.

 

MM is not a main event so they stopped announcing it in the calendar, as of last month it was announced under mini events update so we need to keep watching these, my guess is that it may come between January 4 and 7 since the full moon is near that time, we are on the 12th day on the lunar calendar as per middle east Arab countries ( some still follow lunar calendar) and the full moon starts on the 14th up to 16th, between this current event and the coming breading event so I hope unless BP decides otherwise.

 

mmm...if you are referring to the month of Dec., it was posted under monthly-Dec 1. It doesn't matter to me where it is posted, I just made an inquiry as to if there was going to be one is all

 

If this is going to be a new way of announcing instead of in the monthly preview calendar I think we may have to rant because as Suzee said, the cloud row is useless without prior notice. Mine is currently on hold until I know when MM is.

 

The January Monthly Preview Calendar just been updated Moonlight Mania Event is due to start on 8th January cant wait to grow more Spooky Crops

 

In the Event FAQ it is listed as a mini event, maybe I got the idea from there....and it's true that Moonlight Mania doesn't stick to the Full Moon schedule, I guess that's why they didn't call it Full Moon Mania. I apologize if my explanation got you of track.....I'll try better next time.....

 

Yes we have an updated schedule as to the next MM. YAY!!!!

Sorry, I misspoke. The 96h recharge is the SG clouds. MM EP clouds is 24h. I'm hoping to finish the other MM clouds this time. To maximize my time I'm planning on using some CFs w/ SG for long crops (that was actually my concern about the clouds), w/o SG or lag time between crops for short crops.

While BP considers MM a mini event... Many players look forward to and count on making the most of that precious 24h each month to advance the MM quests. The more advance notice the easier it is to schedule RL around the game. When possible I try to schedule RL around MM. Some of my medical appts cannot be schedule around game play. But most can. Others have jobs, family, etc and might be able to make arrangements if more than a couple days notice. Full moon was yesterday. The real full moon is around the first of each month this year. We have a birthday bash at the end of this month, always a fun time. Guess next MM will be shortly after that.

 

Jan calendar add MM, but it is insert in a event.
January 7th - January 13th: Breeding Based Event
January 8th: Moonlight Mania
what it mean, if you care for MM, you will lose 1 whole day or even a few hr more for plant
& harvest yr MM crop. Who know if there is any event crop for this "breeding based Event"
You had to make a choice for that. I just hope, today we will get the FAQ of breeding base
event. So that some farmers could have better arrangment for their lands.

 

Suzee, I wasn't trying to correct you or anything like that at all. I don't have nearly as many cloud rows as others do and I have trouble keeping track of tine they are active and cooldown time. I was just gently bringing that to your attention. Good luck in getting your cloud row you want. I myself am hoping to get my crow nest bc I have a crow hoard I want to use.

I'm hoping the Breeding Event is one of those I don't have much interest in. LOL! Like the cuckoos.
