Not happy! I had to work this morning so activated SW and EM and CAC with PPP get home after work and find this postponement, ugh so I am just out those buffs and no joy! Hope they do a bonus code to make up for this.

 

I think nobody made so far any comments regarding the EP-giver (Mice in Paradise) and the event's cloud row.

It may help some pondering over sitting this event out or not to rethink what to do. My suggestion is everyone with enough level (at or over 71, or with the certainty to turn 71 before the event ends) should try to complete it.

The reason is the cloud row is among the best ever.

In B-EPs terms, it'll yield 70*Baha lvl B-EPs every 20 hs. For me, it currently means a whooping 14350 B-EPs shot at every harvest, equivalent to eating 5,74 langos. Nothing I have matches that. Normalized to 24 hs, it means, for me, by itself, 1 full level every 60 days, or 30 GBs per year. (Just think of, for comparison, the effort you've put to get Cerberus, or any of the last B-EP-yielding cloud rows and you'll promptly realize this event is an utter no miss).

But it's also extremely good in EP-yielding terms, also 70*farm level every 20 hs, since this comes from 2 different kinds of givers: one, in standalone fashion, will yield B-EPs, and the other one, EPs. (It roughly quadruples the effect of the EP-giver if used in parks with 6 owls; if you have no pets, the multiplication effect is even better).

Besides, the EP-giver is also an awesome EP source by itself, almost unmatched: it ranks less than 1% below Enthusiastic Jury (the second best item in my parks, after Birthday Party II). This means those below level 71 or who fail to complete the event can at least expect to feast over an awesome EP-giver in their parks. It's no bad consolation prize.

In short: make an effort and do this event, as much as you can without getting frantic: it's worth the effort. (I wish I could say this more often).

 

But you could combine it with EM and get 80% Island EP, then delete it for the other fields...

 

Wow, it looks like you are very annoyed that the event is postponed! Fortunately the postpone did not affect me because I am not joining this event. I am only going to sell monkeys.

Why am I not joining this event?
Because I only have 40 trees which most of the trees have lesser than 100 EP.

 

@penguilnz, Yah, that not fair for you! Unless you buy a bunch of XXL's trees at 200 BB's a pop and then mulch and Susi spray them...costing even more BB's! Next Gift/ Trade event I'll send you some High EP trees and then you can participate in events like this. My Mom aka dustydi (player) always said get as many trees as you can!

 

55,273 EP/BEP on first harvest with EM/SprW and Apple Jam in a silver slot btw. Let loose the Unicorn, Dragon and Owl.

penguilnz I'm sorry to hear you are not going to try. Even if you have 40 trees you can still get partial rewards. Some of the lower EP trees can be harvested 2x or even 3x (with turbo mulch) before the 24 hours is up. I figure you maybe able to get about 12000 EP if you have some buffs. if i figured it right it would give you 2 party spins 1 chameleon upgrade 1 harvester coupon and 5 power feed. Aluntio makes a really excellent case to get the 2 EP givers and the cloud row and all you need to do is get past the first part with the trees.

20 hour trees reduce to 13 hours with turbo mulch (35% reduction in time)
18 hour trees reduce to 11.7 hours
12 hour trees reduce to 7.8 hours

Just as a reminder for anyone ZAB, CAC, Carrot bread and Pineapple cake do NOTHING for the EP needed for the event. Neither did the happy harvest day EP. So didnt really loose out on that towards the event just for leveling up.

The only buffs that will work on the trees are .....
*Apple Jam +20% for apple trees only 16 hours silver
Sweet Rose Jam +20% all harvests 8 hours gold
Easter Marmalade +30% all harvests 12 hours gold
Spring Wreath +30% all harvests 12 hours gold
*Island Paradise Jam +30% Baha trees and crops only 12 hours gold
*Green Mateato +50% Baha trees and crops only 6 hours gold
*Chocolate Shake +10% Baha trees and crops only 16 hours gold

Animals buffs to use...
SRJ, EM, Spr Wr will also work for the animals EP for step 3

Time reduction for animals
Eggnog -5% stable time 10 hours gold
Cheese balls -5% stable time 12 hours gold
Valentines pot -10% stable time 8 hours gold
**EDIT**
Gooseberry jam, gingerbread, guava jam and church bouquet will not work as they are for workshops not stables.

Just harvested 47700 EP from trees, so I guess I don'thave to be afraid that I won't finish completely. Such a relief

 

Using the auto harvest do not work, 159'205 ep form trees obtaind yet 60'000 still needed.

 

No, Gingerbread reduces workshop time.. MissSmartyPants have been kindly correcting you...

 

So, I must be one of the few who was happy for the delayed start as I could get started from the get-go! So I had my written plan to stop me being too hasty when harvesting. I did everything that didn't involve harvesting before (Cloud Row, Prize Wheel) and I even had the presence of mind not to go to Fuzzy before the start of the event cos we all know I would get the half hour/hour +15%/+20% EP!

So, all went extremely well - Illy managed to do the first level of the event in one shot, this farm will need another tree harvest tomorrow. But what did I forget? To go back to Fuzzy. And, what did I get for my prizes today, yup, you guessed it: half hour/hour +15%/+20% EP! Oh well!

Got my first lot of seeds on the go and will be able to get my first full three fields planted in 1x1s tomorrow. I can't start an event without one mistake. It could have been worse!

 

Auto harvested trees not giving credit at all. 4 fields of high end trees and 0 credit.

 

Ann, are you sure that you already push the "timer button" before harvesting?

You can report this issue in Technical Issues..

 

Unfortunately there is a problem with auto tree harvester (has been reported in other forums)

 

Hi to Fellow Farmers.... Advise was given to Disable Auto Tree Harvest, When the Advent Starts you have to activate the Level 1 Timer, before you harvest your Trees....I almost forgot to do this Lucky I did Phew

For Lower Level Farmers or those who played Farmerama 9 months or Less I would Spend any CC you have but buy Trees such as Olive, Almond or Maple Tree or your Highest EP Tree and Try Just complete The First Level of this Event. But would need to use Spring Wreath or Easter Marmalade to help boost EP.....You can Try Find Neighbours who does Crafting and send you Easter Marmalade or Spring Wreath as a Gift This will help

I am please that Harvester Helper was running when this event started as I harvested Coffee with ZAB and Easter Marmalade plus 6 Owls and Dragon and Unicorn Pet got 29.000 Bahm EP, Switched out ZAB for Spring Wreath havested my Shipwreck got another 30,000 Bahm so i am please with that, My Glade. Green Meadow and MainFarm completed Level 1 with Ease as I had 6 XXL Jumbo Trees each gave me 6700 EP per Jumbo Trees

I so Far got 125 Cargo Drops, But I choose to Boost Bahm EP and complete Level 1 so i can work on Level 2 asap, as I need to raise about 2775 Parachute ...2000 Parachute is needed to be donated to level 2 as already got 100 Cargo and 800 Mushrooms for Level 2

Then Change Game plan to get 60000EP From Stables which is harder to do, as i love a challenge see how it goes

As Aluntino Pointed out This Cloud Row will give you 70 x Bahm Level EP Every 20 Hours, As I won a Cloud Row From Top 1000 that gives the Same EP but only Every 48 Hours, This will certainly help up level up the island quicker to help get those needy GBs
