Timer counter glitch

I just harvested my farm for level three. I had enough Jumbo and red/pink, and other animal pens out to cover the whole 60,000 EP's. The timer did not count the magical glade ep's, where I had most of my Jumbo stables, and pinks. It still showed the harvested amount from the other fields, and did not add the magical glade(most likely) - or else it counted the glade and not the others(least likely since I harvested them first)...the amounts were about equal.
Before I harvested anything, I took it real slowly and carefully - did not want any more mistakes. I activated the cloud rows including the new flower one, then nightmare and the squirrel from the Park, and then the owls on each of my fields. I'm also using EM for 30% more. I activated the timer, and then harvested. Before harvesting the glade I glanced at the amount on the timer. After harvesting the glade I looked again, expecting it to show completion. But it showed approx. the same. So I went back and counted the EP's for each stable on the glade, and the total was approx. the same as the timer was showing - the same as it had BEFORE I harvested the glade!!

I have checked your fields and you seem to have quite a few workshops out, which do not count for the step 3 EP needed:

• On Glade: 822 EP from 1 workshop
• On Main field: 6338.4 EP from 9 workshops
• On Meadow: 4100.2 EP from 8 workshops
• On Baha: 0 EP from 0 workshops

So, a total of 11260.6 EP have not been counted for the 3rd step, and this should have brought you to a total of 58823.6 EP / 60000 EP requested.

Thank you! And yes, this is just what I was asking about - since I was only credited with 35,--- and something EP's....NOT the 58,823 that you found!! Would you please restore the missing EP's? The difference between the 58823 that you found and the 35,--- that I was actually credited for. Thank you.

(I have already finished this level without the missing EP's.)

Your are not missing any EP. The EP mentioned above was not counted for step 3 of the event because it comes from workshops. Only EP coming from animal stables are added up. For example, Ostrich Pen EP counts, but the Ostrich Egg Farm EP does not. The ~11k EP that was not counted, was coming from the workshops you had on your fields, which is correct.

To explan this: ​

11260.6 EP which you could have expected to be added to your total, would have gotten you to gathering 58823.6 EP, because you had 47563 EP/60000 collected for step 3 when I have checked your account logs.

I hope it makes sense - if not, I will try again.

Teddy, I have understood that from the beginning. I counted ONLY Jumbo and regular animal pens on the glade, and their total was over 35,000EP's. These were NOT added to the 35,thousand plus that already showed on the timer BEFORE I harvested the glade. That is what surprised me, and those ep's are what is missing. They were never added to the counter total.

As for the 47563 total when you checked my account - it took quite a while for you to have the opportunity to do that checking...and meanwhile...since this was a TIMED event....I kept on harvesting and adding ep's.
I hope this clarifies the difficulty better than I must have done in the beginning.

Normally I would just suffer the loss and move on, but the damage it did to my progress in this event was enough - costing me a whole day (Jumbo's) timewise - to most likely keep me from finishing this event. I hope you understand my feelings about this.

I get a total of 12321.8 (Baha) + 7464.05 (Main) + 7701.85 (Meadow) + 2754.15 (Glade) = 30241.85 EP you should have gotten if you would have harvested all your fields, with all the pets + Easter Marmalade active. You had 47563, so you harvester more before or after that, but it's impossible for me to figure out what and when.​

 

Teddy - are you adding up what I have NOW??? That isn't valid information.

I've changed my fields over to growing crops for level four - all the Jumbos and other animal pens have been removed to make way for growing crops.
The only valid EP count would have had to be made yesterday, when I had harvested, and a few hours afterward, and which count I already gave you in the original post...and which I had done immediately after I harvested, because it was not being counted on the timer. And yes, I used all my buffs and EM, etc.
The times for checking are before and after I posted this thread - an hour before, and up to approx. three hours after this post. If you check the glade at those times you will find a more accurate EP count.
It is only the glade to which I am referring because I did not check whether or not all the ep's were counted on the other fields. They may or may not all have been counted - I do not know. But the Glade I DO know, and so that is the only one to which I am referring.

Hang in there, teddy.bear - surely there is light at the end of this actually rather simple problem.

 

Hello farmlily3, I apologise in advance for this, but there is no light at the end of this, and most definitely not a simple problem, because it is impossible for us, or Support, or anyone else, to see what you had at that time; we can only see your current farm setup.
Secondly, if the step 3 counter would be bugged, you can imagine that we, as well as the other language teams, would be flooded with similar reports. Also when I listed all the workshops that gave EP, and clearly mentioned they were workshops, you have approved and said those are the missing EPs - this vs making room for the crops as soon as your stables are ready - my apologies, but it rather looks like an honest mistake (expecting the EP workshops to count as well).
Last but not least, you completed this step already, so I'm not sure what do you expect us to do we cannot boost your counter even more, you got all your rewards.
So I am really really sorry, but there is nothing I can do in this case, apart from referring you to Support to discuss this further.

Before this thread is closed let's get one thing straight - I NEVER, ever said that the workshops were part of the EP's that I counted. Please remove the idea of workshops from this discussion. I very CLEARLY stated:"I counted ONLY Jumbo and regular animal pens on the glade and their total was over 35,000." This statement is found right above your latest, and already outdated, list. (The above response sounds as if you are perhaps in need of another cup of coffee? Or hot chocolate? I would be glad to share a cup with you. We all miss things sometimes.)
None the less, please re-read that post.

This no longer has (because of the time lapse) ANY effect on the event. I have rounded DOWN - foregoing the additional hundreds whose exact number I do not remember, because I do not remember that exact number of hundreds, only the correct number of thousands.

BP has shown in the past its willingness to fairly compensate for errors made by its gaming equipment, as in this case. Are they still concerned for the individual? Or do we disappear, buried in technospeak *which does not account for the more isolated glitches*?

No one can be perfect - not even BP. But they can be fair.

 

I am really sorry, but as previously mentioned, there is nothing I can do on this matter, so you are more than welcomed to contact Support to discuss this further.
