Feedback Question Tuesday CW5: Mini Events

I like them all but look forward to the Gift and Trade the most. I like being able to share what I have with others.

 

I can't vote for Recyclomat as I have never experienced it.

 

Gift and Trade please...
Missed it last year...

 

1. Gift and trade (more licenses, better subsections would be good)
2. Recyclomat (batteries before event starts, more often would be great)
3. Transseedlantic (powerfeed jumbo tree would be awesome)

Absolutely LOVE these. Wish we had em more often!

 

I like them all but especially Gift and Trade, Recyclomat and Renzo's but if I had to pick one it would be Gift and Trade. The only downside is the limited number of gift licences - even being able to gift multiple items to one person would be better but one gift licence per item is just so difficult. I have merchant licences that I will probably never use. Why can't all the licences be used as we wish - so we could gift, trade or sell with the same licence?

When you said "mini events", I instantly was torn between Midnight madness and Baby Booms. Those are definitely my favorite. But, as it turns out I am not even going to vote because though I have been here for several months, I have yet to experience either the recylomatic, trans atlantic seed express or gift and trade (note.. there was one when I first started, but I was too new to participate).

I like4 Renzo, though I think offering it along with the birthday and other events is perhaps part of the general slow down here (?). I definitely do NOT like that you keep offering multiple events so quickly or simultaneously, with the exception of the breeding event, which ties in nicely with the breeding events.

I did NOT like Gigantica. The requirements did not match the rewards. I lost several orange stables early on and only got a yellow in return. At the time, I was too new to fully understand the loss, but I was still upset then. Now I am even more upset over the thought!
Its not right to ask players to donate multiple orange pens and not AT LEAST get an orange in return, particularly for new players. And, I absolutely disagree that the event was explained well enough or worked well. -edit- Anyway, communication was 99% of the problem, but beyond that the event itself was just plain poorly structured for any but the most experienced and advanced players. Again, to get to communication, a SPECIFIC warning, that "hey, lower ranked players be especially cautious, you may not get the returns you need". would help, though I do think you should up the baseline prizes.

 

I am unsure what some of these events are, but we haven't had gift and trade for a while and I would love to trade for some items that I need.

 

While I usually enjoy all the mini events we have, Gift and Trade would be the hands down favorite. Though I wish we could trade anything we have for anything we want. The Recyclomat would be second. I love the Aliens. Renzo is third, while it is fun to play the games it takes forever to get the coins to buy things. The Trans Seedlantic is fourth; who loves supergrow and suzy supergrow. I am not that fond of the San Gigantica event. The animals are too disturbing to look at and they take a really long time. My field space is valuable to me and I feel it is not worth it.

I would have to agree with the majority here, of the events listed, Gift & Trade is my favorite.

I'm with someone else who said Baby Boom and Moonlight Mania, so I voted for them "All" even though I'm not really voting for the ones listed...

 

I like them all but Gift and Trade is by far the best. I do wish it occurred more frequently and lasted longer. I also think we need more licenses.

I like the train for both trees and animals but agree that often the output does not match the input. For example, I put in 6 xl trees and got back 1. Better balance is needed. I would also like to see a train for Baha trees. I understand from the mods explaining before that it would be unbalanced but then create an event for just baha trees. I also like the recylomat and would like to see its return. My least favorite mini event that is in the poll is Renzo's fair. I would like to see the addition of a new game.

 

I voted for all the mini events but I do have some notes about some events:

1- Gift and trade event it is really good but need some control, a lot of players put non-sensible offers and then you find hundreds of pages that are not interesting, I think there should be a rule to make the offers nearly balanced i.e.. (some players will offer an apple tree and ask for XXL higher level tree), even with the search function that did not work all the time, still to much of these.

2-Trans-seedlantic & san gigantic express: unless something new introduced otherwise they are not interesting, I have all the jumbo trees and stables and the upgrades in big number so many players do, so no point in participating in it any more, and for other tress and stables upgrade, the cost is very high and the results are not guaranteed, it is like gambling and we loose too much to gain something we already have most probably, and why not include some red and pink upgrades.

3- Recyclomate: I participated many times in that event, it is consuming a lot and most of the time we don't get the good prizes there, I agree there is some very good prizes, but it needs luck, so it is not that favorable.

that leaves Renzo and the other mini event that were not included like baby boom and moon light mania which are very good and satisfying.

 

Gift & Trade
Would like to see this event offered more frequently and for a longer duration of time.
I also agree more items could/should be included for trading/gifting purposes.

San Gigantica Express, new stables and shorter duration for them to mature would be nice.

Although I enjoy all the mini events, a new mini event would be a welcome interest as well.

I have voted for all the mini events as I've enjoyed them all from what I remember since I started playing a few months ago. However I haven't yet seen G&T, Recyclomat, Trans-seedatlantic or San Gigantica Express. I really like MM and Baby Boom also.
I do agree that as much as I enjoy the mini events, they are very frequent and simultaneous which aside from BabyBoom can be a bit much sometimes. It can feel like a constant event selling fest. I appreciate the game developers have to make their money and rightly so but the endless need for large amounts of Powerfeed for example gets a bit ridiculous for the people who like to have a go at most of the events like myself and the constant changing and removing of fields/items can get a bit tedious!

 

After the big slowdown for the three events yesterday, I think the developers should schedule Renzo's Fair all by itself with the day following also not an event day.
