There is also Farmers who not got Production Pens to Grow these Products either, Some farmers have FOCD to complete Products related FSQ not making must effort to shore up these products for future events and quests.

As I always stock up on bit of everything to reasonable amount. They I try to replace what i have spend in donations to events and quests by Spending CC, mostly growing crops to make CC due same with Animals from time to time but i buy nearly all products cost takes to long to grow them

We can get good cc from doing these steps, All this CC can help get things you cannot grow i know some of them are very pricy imdeed but keep resetting not going to help much as we got 40 Steps to do if we reset once for each of these that 80 hours of event time gone

There is no point growing all the needed event crops of Barbados Nuts and Sweet Clover. When you struggle to donate the requirements of Products, Animals, Fruits or Crops for Each Step

I would not focus try to do certain step of Mission you are struggling to get past, I would suggest work on the easier steps of the other missions which gives you cc use the CC proceeds to buy the what you not got that is required to progress to next step ok

I think my Hunch is right that they are only asking for Timber, Cooking Pots, Ostrich Eggs, Koi Ponds and Honey

You are mistaken, Mooboy. There are four separate paths of 10 steps, and you can have all four of them reset at the same time, so if you reset every single step once you'd have lost 20 hours of the event. Also overnight resets are essentially free, as are ones where you'd be waiting more than two hours for crops to mature.

Set against that, nearly all the necessary resets will be for Bunnylin. If you have to reset each of her steps 4 times you would have lost 80 hours of the event.

This is just the first level on this one, don't think I stand a chance even if I do manage to do this one lol.
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply x

Nah still only have 12 hammers honey need 18, pots need 25 and beavers need 18 lol

Done with the nightmarish Products room.

Mostly ostrich eggs and timber logs. Honey and cooking pots only once. Koi fishes only once -the first step; the only time they asked for them and I agreed to; but they asked for them too many times, those greedy..... -: it seems they "understood", after all those resets I launched (5 or 6), that I wasn't prone at all to hand them any more koi fishes.

Got off to a 8-10 late start due to living on wrong side of planet and slow system...
Seemed to take really long time to get any traction with crops even with using 2x2s and throwing everything at them. Couldn't figure out how some of you were resetting so many times and I hadn't. Then I realized it was due to my lost time and some players buying baskets (I never do). Ended up growing one crop on Main and one crop on Meadow and Glade. Ended up donating too many nuts before bed and not having enough for all fields overnight.

I too consider cooking pots (money maker), ostrich eggs (ZAB) and koi (too long to make, too expensive to buy) too precious to use for the products. So I will reset until I get honey requests. I have lots of honey too. Altho I do sell it for CC. The products is the only thing I will bother resetting. Pretty sure I have every thing else. Or can easily produce it. The products take 24-48h. I only have 4 koi pens. I put the spooky koi and others out last night. Pretty sure I had more spooky koi at one time but not now... Tempted to put the timber out but haven't yet. Using 2 2/2 fields to grow event crops til done. Noticed that the levels sorta alternate 2 clover, 1 nuts, repeat... So I'll grow crops that way, for a while...

Growing crops while I wait for the Bunny resets...

I don't really consider time lost except in the sense that I have to interrupt RL every two hours to reset. (Get computer out, login, login to game, reset, logout of games, logout...) Until I get to the last day or two...

Illy, thanks for the mention of watching a section of the forum. I noticed I could watch a thread but didn't notice anything else. I've missed the harvest/seeder half price sale more than once with the new forum... >:(Among other things...

Don't bother making apiaries for honey. Honey trees produce more in less space quicker than apiaries. Add to your want list.

    OK, I've formalised this somewhat.

I've ignored all the steps but Bunnylin. They are unlikely to cause problems for anyone able to do Bunnylin. The main thing that they do is take up the land to grow crops so there's no chance of producing helpful amounts of products.

So far I've seen, for higher level players (I don't think this is set for lower level players) the following products:
Honey, Timber, Ostrich Eggs, Koy and Cookware Pots. I have loads of honey and enough timber for a few steps, but none of the others. I'd rather donate honey but can donate timber if required.

I've asked the question: if I reset every time I don't get honey as a requirement, what are the odds I'll be able to finish the event?

This depends heavily on the number of resets I have available. It's a six day event. In my case I expect I can get up to 8 resets per day - 14 hours awake / 2 hours, plus one (you can reset just after waking up and just before going to sleep, so if I was at the computer 2 hours I'd get 2 resets, not one)
Plus I am adding 1 reset per day from clocks

So a maximum of 9 resets a day. Yours will vary, so I've worked it out for different levels. It's a pretty complex calculation but I'll send it to anyone who is interested. I got these results:

Number of resets per dayChance of success with 1 productChance of success with 2 products
    41 %51 %
    56 %82 %
    617 %95 %
    732 %99+ %
    850 %99+ %
    966 %99+ %
    1079 %99+ %

What this says to me is you need at least one of the following to complete this event:
    - LOTS of time in front of the computer for regular resets, and a bit of luck
    - More than one of the required products available for donation (even a couple of steps worth will help)
    - Resources for extra resets - either BB or lots of neighbours donating clocks. Remember there's an SOS thread for that if you need it!

This event is tricky, but can be done even without vast resources with a bit of luck. Don't give up hope!

Shimmer, I think there is a flaw in your statistics. Each reset is independent of any that have gone before. You should have a 20% chance of any of the 5 items on reset, yes? Then what explains those who have gotten multiple resets to the same item? For that matter, according to the FAQs, a reset should give you something different than what you had before and we all see that that is not true. I'm not depending on resets anymore. I really don't want to sweat the last day. I've placed pens for pots and O-eggs.

My calculations are based on it being a random pick each time. It's essentially like rolling dice - just because you rolled a six last time doesn't mean you won't roll a six this time. The human brain is set up so strongly to notice patterns that we notice them where none exist, but I'm very confident they will have coded it just to select a random product from a group. Just like dice, there's actually a reasonably high chance of 'runs' of the same value coming up.

Basically, either it's coded to be random (which is very easy coding) and we're just seeing patterns in randomness OR they've coded it to make it more likely that a particular product will be selected twice in a row. That's much more difficult to code, and why would they do it? This event is already sufficiently difficult by my calculations. If they were going to alter the code from (random pick) it would probably be to exclude the item which was picked last time, as you've read into the FAQ. That would result in much happier players.

Question (well not really - more of a statement) We were told they would ask for Random Products. Now, as there are at least 24 products, why do they keep asking for the same old stuff. On one of my farms I got timber 8 times in a row. I reset twice, have donated 66, and waiting to see if I get something different. On this farm 14 Koi - reset twice and waiting..............
I will do all of Bunnylyn before going onto the others. Have put out Ostrich Egg farms and Cookpot on all farms. They call it the Birthday Bash - I know who is getting Bashed!

The random products have been set to just the top 5 your farm level can make. Not so random. It should have been set up to ask for progressively smaller numbers of all random products based on your level.

Cooking pots are selling for 17k+ right now. They are too valuable to donate so early in the event. Sell them and make some coins. Or hold onto them for the last minute run by desperate players. Meanwhile keep clicking the Cancel for cheaper products.

Pretty sure what we are donating is based on farm level. For some of us that means we are asked to donate our 5 top products, except for Baha. I have a lot more Baha prods that I've been holding onto for what was it they promised... a wreath?! LOL!

I stopped doing FSQs that ask for products a long time ago. Those products are the best coin generators. I sell those products down to 10 qty. That's why I don't have much of those in stock. Seems they could ask for any and all products that we've opened instead of our last 5.

Bunnilyn has made it to the party on my farm. But I'm not sure I'm too happy to see her right now :wuerg:
I was asked for Timber mostly, thankfully had a large stock waiting on beaver breeding. Refused to give any cooking pots or Koi.
A big Thanks to my neighbors for all the timers. :)

The price of timber has went up but not nothing like the rest of the products. Koi are at 15k and timber are at 3k.
    Just keep hitting reset! :sleepy:

JJenks, I tried that. Koi 5 times in the first 6 requests! It has settled down now but loves pots and koi.

Cassie- I am having the same problem with repeat requests. Cooking pots and koi with occasionally ostrich eggs. Have reset 8 times for the same level on both farms. *sigh*

First, there is 15 product in this contest, not 24, rare and Bahama are excluded, and as I saw from the posts these 15 cover a three categories, low level, mid level and high level, so five products for each category and because they are level related, each player will see only five products as demands, I noticed a level 88, and a level 94 players have the same requirements as me (level 91) so for high level players the event will ask for honey, timber, ostrich eggs, koi fish and cooking forges, for the people who troubled themselves with the math, when you reset you will have 20% to get the product you are aiming for, I have done 7 steps in bunnilyn and made the mistake of donating the wood (11) in the second step, I wasn't thinking that time, but I did 6 steps with honey out of seven, and step 8 asks for honey, sometimes I reset once, sometimes twice, and three times, and some times I did not reset at all. so step 8 almost finish just waiting for the batteries, I ran out of these because I did 6 steps on swish, 5 on willy, and 8 on speckly, and for these rooms I did not reset even once, and for those who are struggling with bunnilyn I say, keep your hopes up, and no need to put production pens, at least not all the five types, and keep resetting, it is only 30 hours now from the event, we still have 118 hours, concentrate on event crop and drop items, then do whatever you like, for the animals part, I did ostriches 2 times, beavers, donkeys, and peacocks twice, and now again beavers, so it repeating itself in this range of animals, good luck.

Cassie & pnp, I'm so sorry!!! That's horrible!!! When I hit reset it would rotate through timber, koi, ostrich eggs, pots and honey. That order except 4 times I got timber a second time on a reset. Most of the time it just asked for timber. I just gave in and gave them the timber. :sleepy:
No wonder you all are ready to pull your hair out

I have not been asked for timber at all on either farm.

On my low level gifting farm (lvl 51) I am not doing the event but did click on the levels to see what would be asked for....On BW and pnp I have only been asked for 2 animals at a time: peacocks, beavers or donkeys and only 7 fruit (sometimes 5). On the lvl 51 farm, 22 horses, 10 cherries, 7 koi and 100+ asparagus (don't remember the exact amount). My brain is too tired right now to work out what the difference is....
