As a mix type farmers. I dont torn everything out for crop growing.
Just keep my farm with those trees, crops & stalls. I just spare around 2 full
field of land for growing Carnation. I got 104 drops.(included Baha) with putting
my howie donut.
Good drop rate, I don't think so, compare with previous events. I will say
the rate still acceptable but not very good one.

 

Well, with Long-time crops on both the mainfield and the meadow, some stalls on the meadow and long-term stalls on the glade and the longest crop on Baha I just harvested 54 fruit hats. That's almost 10% from the needed total. I'll keep my fingers crossed for today If I'm correct, I'm close to the average needed (86, if I'm correct), so that's okay. Hopefully I'll get another 30 today, so that I'll stay on track right from the start

Thanks. Mostly due to comfort fields, and Jumbo pens (from recent Gigantica event).

Nevertheless, event only started, nothing is certain.

I was wondering.

In my market, I can not sell the bikinis or the parrot feathers. All the other products show in the market that we use for this event but no bikinis or parrot feathers.

Has any one else noticed this?

 

Drop Rate:
I've been keeping track of drops for the last few events, the drop rate for this event is about 35% down.

I find that the best way to increase your drops is to make sure that any of your Orange, Red or Pink pens are in the Glade to increase EP.
High EP and XXL trees placed in the glade will also help you.

odd, I used to know my market, but it got lost in the forum change over. My market will not let me sell either the parrot feathers (I currently have over 2000) or the bikinis. It also does not list them for sell either.

 

Check the monkey temple, I think you will find that all the statues are locked. This is a glitch happening to a lot of players recently. For me it usually is fixed with a fresh login. If it isn't you could try clearing cache etc.

I got 55 hats.

Log out and log in again, possibly all of your baha items are not loading in, Many people have been having issues with bahamarama. You will notice, you are unable to sell baha crops or animals too.

 

Frankly, there's no reason at all for any player with whatever drop boosting resources at hand -whatever, even none- to be worried about event drops, whatever the amount you've got so far, with almost still 6 days left...

The reason is that the amount of event crops requested for completing the event is so low, so low, that you will have plenty of time in the almost still 6 days left to grow long growth time crops in, for instance, 1x1s, to boost drops. I bet that absolutely everyone can get the drops done on time, unless BP lowers the drop rate in the coming days.

It's just a matter of being patient and planning what you'll do in your farm accordingly.

So far, only 2 hours after event start, with most of what I have planted not ready for harvesting yet, I got a range from 27 hats in the farm with nothing at all (trophies at 0%) to 41 in the farm where every possible boost is available (this one). And I'm not worried, not a bit.

I just did my morning harvest... got 120+ on each of my farms. That is standard for... maxed out LL rune, 2.5 fields of carnations, rest pens, Baha half pens / half crops. In other words drops are same as usual. Not worried at all esp since the requirement is a really low 100 per day average.

I just planted 10 starter seeds in 2x2s, with Suzy's magic dust, and watered roses in 1x1s, since I have a doc appt today. Grow event crops tonight after I get home. We have a mega EP crop day tomorrow so I'll grow for that instead of growing event crops, since the crop requirement is so low. Assuming I can remember. lol

This is any easy event. RELAX and enjoy it...

I have been using Pineapple Cake on the island - doesn't it give extra crops for event crops? I thought anything planted on the island. Does anyone know for sure?

May have to re-think my strategy - open up another field for the event and use CAC or change to PJ and stick to the island as originally intended.

PAC does yield +1 seed from any plot with crops -regardless of its size- (just like PJ) and +1 fruit from any tree -regardless of how many fruit base amount each tree yields-.

 

illy, I haven't tried, but the description says "tropical tree and field crops", so my guess would be no

Aluntino, have you tried with event crops?

 

Illy has got PJ running and this farm has Pineapple Cake, Illy's plots show 3 and this farm shows 2 so either the Pineapple Cake is off or event crops aren't affected.

I think I will post a question for a Mod just in case I can get a rebate!

 

Yes, I have, and I'm quite sure that every plot in the Island yielded one more event crop, just like PJ does. But, now that Illy says she saw it doesn't, I'm not so sure anymore. It's been either "fixed" since or I was wrong then (long ago: it's been quite a long time since I did that). I agree with Illy: it's better to ask to be sure (and get a rebate if she's entitled to it).

 

Hi Illy/Chevrefeuille .As Always PAC Gives +1 Fruits on All Island Fruit trees. But if you have all 1x1 Fields on the Island you get the same result or outcome as if you was using PJ for the island which gives +1 on all island crops but if you used 2x2 or 2x1 on the Island you get less than 25% Crops using PAC but if you used 1x1 you get +1 every 4 x 1x1 Fields I hope This Helps

I started this Event bit late as been busy but i manged to get 145 Fruit Hats From Drops

 

I do not use pine apple cake because it is a diamond slot and we have only 1 diamond slot, the way I understand it, it gives 25% more for crops and tree fruits for 12 hours so trees gives 4 fruits+25%= (4+1)=5 total , for the crops it is different, on 2x2 you get 5 fruits + 25% = 6, you got 1 hole and the fraction you don't get it, in the case of 2x1 plots the fraction is 0.75 so it is more than 0.50 so I think the game add it to be a hole number so you get 1 crop, but for 1x1 plots 25% is 0.50 crop, usually if half or lower they do not add it up to a hole number, it is basic mathematics exactly like the electronic calculator when you choose not to see fraction, it nears it to a hole number, or may be they add it but that does not apply to event crops, any way, it is best to be used on trees beside SSG, but on events, it is more beneficial to use CAC or PJ, and CAC is 18 hours and can be extended to 24 by using PPP.
