I think in this thread the "like" button is used like "unlike":p

@Arielh , to me "like" means you've read the message, so you know which message you read and which you didn't read...:music:

but for other players I think like means unlike.

@-Mir85- , you're correct. I "like" all messages, even though I disagree with some.
    Should I change my habit?

Oh dear, I did the reverse Chookie - my cunning plan today (after an extremely busy working week which only ended yesterday - plus fighting a cold - do I hear violins?) was to tear up and use only my islands for the Carnival event. I want to build up my stock of animals, products and tree fruit. :inlove:

Worked out what buffs I would be using, what farm machinery I would use on each farm and when I would activate them. Sounding good so far, eh? :)

So, poor Illy's farm had no harvester (waiting for the half price sale) so I hand harvested the island. Planted, watered and manured my Lemon Grass - manually. I knew Lemongrass would finish later than the start of the event but decided that I would plant my first seeds in plots that would be temporarily vacated by animals on one of the other fields, having left them (o_O) unharvested so I could get the maximum drops when the event starts. So, even now, it looks like I am really working it all out. :p

After much procrastination on this farm, I decided I would activate an all harvester functions voucher for 12 hours. Even so I harvested my park by hand (luckily it isn't that full) because I didn't want to harvest the water towers as my farm tank was full.

Then I went to the island, harvested, cleaned up the mess and ... yes ... fed the animals!:wuerg:

What to do, what to do? So I decided that I would delete the animals and did just that without any more ado - knowingly ignoring the warning. Seconds later, logic came in: I had Sloths and Anacondas out - they would have been ready before the event started! Doh!

Then I really started thinking what I had just deleted: !0 Anacondas - 400 chickens and 200 rabbits!

Not content with that blunder, I have yet another one to share. :sleepy:

I don't normally worry about leaving my first harvest of the day but as I have animals and trees out on both farms, I decided it would make little difference if I harvested later, most of them I get to harvest only once a day anyway. But I did think that, as I am working early tomorrow morning, nothing would be gained by leaving my trees unharvested - if I wait till event start, they won't be ready tomorrow morning when I harvest at 5.30 am. By the time I came to this conclusion it was 10.30 am and I was halfway through hand harvesting (to avoid harvesting the animals) when I realised they wouldn't be ready for harvesting before I left for work anyway! -.-

Feeling very silly now ... in future I will just harvest as normal and blow the consequences! :music:

Ouch illy! Hope you feel better. You have been battling that cold for a while. This event should be a nice and relaxed one depending on the drop rate.

Thanks Pups. I wouldn't mind but I really don't want to have Anacondas around for long - I only bought them and put them out to finish an FSQ and get a little supply so those pens go away for as long as possible! I know it is only a game but I really hate feeding them my chickens and rabbits. If I was richer, I would buy loads (in fact I did to get the FSQ out of the way lol!). :D

This cold has come and gone for a good week now. Think it is gone then it comes back again. Doesn't help when you have to work with it, these things go away quicker if you rest up! :)

My screw ups were mainly due to fatigue and not thinking things through before hitting the mouse! The only downside of having full harvester functions. :sleepy:

I also don't like the anacondas (snakes in general). I have two anaconda pens that i used for the timed FSQ. But after finishing that, I just buy anacondas. Should have put the anaconda pens on the train and got rid of them :p

I didn't even want to open the statue but I just couldn't progress without them ... I just can't believe I just deleted them after making all the feed for them! Blame my weary head! Hubby said I was looking a little gormless this morning, not often he's so right lol! xD

Just wasted accidentally 192 Super Grows on 1 field of corn.
The major blooper : was spraying on 192 corn which will be ready to harvest in under 2 minutes.

Next time I'll be careful when using farm helper machinery.

That is definitely one reason (and there aren't many!) that sometimes it is better to manually harvest ... you might realise what you are doing in time not to waste lots of reserves of the good stuff.

You really do like your blackberries JJ! :p

Thank you miss farmlily. Actually, it happened when I planted my second batch of event crops.
First batch, 10 peacock flowers on 2x2's plot with SG, watering, manure, and SSG on main field. The all rest of plot, I planted corn on 1x1's plot with only watering. Harvest time difference was only 2 minutes. The peacock flowers come first blooming. Then, I replanted peacock flowers again without waiting corn blooming (sigh, I don't like my field was idle). Next, it happened by accidentally.. :wuerg::wuerg: It is okay for me because everytime I make a mistake, I learn to fix and to improve it. :)

My fingers are tired to click too many times on 1x1's plot. LOL xD Better using farm helper machinery. :p
The good side, I still have 755 Super Grows in my barn. So, it doesn't bother me to make me sad... xDxD

8)Glad to hear it doesn't make you sad, SillyGuy!!:D

But you might want to be careful with those SG's... I started with 1600 and they are going down fast! (Just hope they last to the end..):eek:o_O

Completely forgot the event started today, but had high end animals out anyway - or so I thought. Got to the glade and found it full of chickens not the orange/red/pink pigs and sheep I thought I'd left there for when I was at work!
