Gnomes giving alchemist EP

It seems that when making/assemblying gnomes that give alchemist EP, I am awarded the points when the gnome is made/assembled, rather than when the gnome is placed on my farm. I say this because the gnomes don't denote any value under them when sitting in my inventory or when placed on my farm. Additionally, when in the inventory they are described as "you have receivED"

Frankly, it is easier this way as it saves me the step of having to place the gnomes to earn the points, but I don't think this is the way it is supposed to work.

Furthermore, I have all of these useless gnomes (points already awarded) in my inventory that I have to place one-by-one on my farm anyway, to get rid of.

Please advise. Is this a "gnome" (i.e. known) problem?

Apprentice Gnome + Writing = 40 Alchemist EP
Assistant Gnome + Paper = 100 Alchemist EP

 

The Apprentice Gnome gives 10 trade points + Writing gives 20 trade points when making = 30 trade points.
Assistant Gnome gives 25 trade points + Document gives 50 trade points when making = 75 points.

When you hover over the inventory, you get a description of what the Gnome does when placed on your field. "You have received" at the end is a little confusing and is only on the Gnomes that award trade points , we will pass this onto the Game Team. However, they need to be placed on a field before the actual points are given.

Yes, this is my understanding of how it is uspposed to work. But, it does not seem that the points are given this way.
1) The inventory says the points have already been "receivED."
2) The inventory lists NO value for the item.
3) When hovering over a placed Gnome, NO value is noted.
4) When destroying after use, there is NO indictaion that points have been given/earned.

 

1) is worded so it sounds like points have been given, but as explained above, they have not
2) The inventory shows what gnomes you have, you do not see a description of anything in inventory until you hover over an item, where you will see "The penman gnome won't only wow you......but he'll give you an extra 40 Alchemist EP. You received 40 Alchemist EP (this is the confusing part I talked about).
3) Hovering over the item when placed on your field will only show the time till it can be deleted.
4) When the time has elapsed, you delete them.

As soon as you have placed the Gnome on the field you will get a craft drop item:

This is when you receive your 40 Alchemist EP. If you don't see this, you have turned off Harvest Animations in your game settings, but you could easily check before and after placing the gnomes if the EP were applied successfully.
You then have to wait the specific cool down time before they can be deleted.

I (temporarily) turned on my animations to test this and saw no such "craft drop item" icon. I also see no listing of receiving artisan EP in the drop column.

I did check the pts in my alchemist before and after placing a gnome. The points were awarded. But, this is a tedious way to have to confirm the pts are being rewarded as I see NO other indication that they are being rewarded.

 

Hello again I have had your account checked, and you do not have the "Harvest animations" turned on. This can be done through Game Settings. You click on the additional settings tab, then make sure the harvest animations is turned on, then click the save button and make sure the pop up says that data has been saved.

Visit another field and come back to make sure the change has occurred. Do the EP now show?
