I've been searching for it. The only thing I could find was an equinox mention in the monthly preview calendar from March last year and this was, if I'm correct, the Day and night event: Cheesemasons. (march 20 - 27th). The equinox itself is a regular thing (according to wikipedia: the astronomical event when the sun is at zenith over the Equator. This happens four times a year), so I guess BP is making events around it :)

Haha, yeah I know what a RL equinox is (or, at least, that there is such a thing:p), just wasn't sure whether it was one of those events that pops up same each time.. I've only been playing 6 months, so haven't seen the whole year's worth yet. xx

Did you know, if you stand an egg on it's pointy end at exactly the time of the equinox (you can get the time on a meteorological site, I imagine), it will stand by itself? No lie, I tried it once. It only lasts for a few seconds, but it's kind of cool.8)

I thought that the eqinox was when day and night were equal and that it happened 2 times a year - in spring, end march- and autumn. Ariel's picture shows half night, half day.

These are the points when the Sun is directly over the Equator. Day and night are of equal length in both hemispheres. The vernal equinox is the spring equinox in March (about 20th-21st) and the autumnal equinox is the fall equinox, (about Sept 22).

The other two "points" in the year are the solstices:

You know them as the first days of winter and summer. Others refer to them as the shortest and longest days of the year.

  9. All this speculation, let me get my telescope and see if I can see anything out there?

A translation puzzle about Equinox Event :
A little tale for those who has completed the work. :)

"It was hard this winter on the farm. Still barely room to something, but the ingredients are the Equinox tortánkhoz really do not. "Egon mouse, president of the Society of Poets Cheese sighs. "Even an honorary member of the company, Jones Kandúriana also invited to help. The adventurer cat respectfully bowed deeply to the mouse boss.

"Just trust me on the job" soothes the Kandúriana mice and kick start to get morning blush. Soon discovers a group of donkeys. As we came closer to them, to see that there is a big bag of flowers beside them. "Changeling bag this morning for these glowing blush with form?" "All right!" Team of donkeys in the paw.

The adventurer cat gets the shoulder bag and go ... but at the moment he stumbles a mole-hill, I had not noticed in the large lot blush of dawn. "Are you okay?" He asks with concern the mole the cat. "It's all right. ... But ... there's this bunch blush of dawn. I need them? "" Sure! Take just quietly, I would only take the view. "

Will soon be dawn and Kandúriana Jones has not found a single flower moon. Feel how tense and nervous, so drops in the Zen garden to meditate. "What's the matter?" Asks the panda. "I can not find moon flower!" "Thank you. Such are you thinking? "... After all these acres of flowers!

It took only a panda gift! Kandúriana Jones happy to hurry back to the Cheese Society of Poets his compositions. Just in time! The mice had been prepared all the great equinoctial ritual, there are only waiting for the ingredients. The world watched in amazement cat with a mouse activities ... so you've never seen!

The sun comes up slowly, light bursts into the farm. The secret cheese luckily point has been created! "That was tight! But we did it, "Egon yawn. "Thank Kandúriana" The chameleons who just come back in the morning kocogásból surprised sniff: cheese smell would really ?!

Thank you for your link... since I can't read Czekoslavakian, was there any hint about how long it takes the flowers to grow?

d5aisy - they look like the same crops we had last year for the event called Day and Night. The day crop (morning glories) took 4 hours and the night crop (moonflower) took 6 hours and they could be planted on all main farm fields (not Baha). I don't know if these crops will be 'recycled' into this event with the same parameters.

Looks like orange poppy and blue morning glory. They are pretty and I've not seen them as I only started the game just about 1 year ago.
