Sell Stars

I am short on money I want to do the event but I need money/cc's. I want to sell my stars for CC's

 

Sorry, neily, this is not an idea I would agree with. Stars are valuable and now that they have been removed from events, they are more so. There are better ways to gain CC than sell stars. Stars are not 'free'. They come with a cost that can be calculated. Both in time and CC.

 

i did not enter this event, but it is making me 100k's cc just by supplying manure to the market. with current manure prices around 500cc.

 

Well, it looks as though stars, my favourite 'Humbug' might be re-thought following the latest producers newsletter.... I do not think they should be offered for sale on the market.... They are one of the few things that cannot be paid for, only earned... and should stay that way ... but that is only my opinion and I am sure others may feel differently

@neily35 , there's one thing you don't know, that stars are valuable. Especiallly when bigpoint have removed them from events. (hoping that bp will put them back)

Since they are so valuable, I'd rather buy them than sell them... Unfortunately there's no way to buy them. (except buying items to complete fsq)

If you need cc, now the price of manure is very high, so sell them before the price decreases.

 

VERY bad idea, probably worse than selling BB for CCs. Sell manure, animals, crops, to make money.

 

I concur with Woody's sentiments, this is a terrible idea.
You're a new player so you aren't going to have millions of CCs. But if you budget, play the market, and follow other money making and saving strategies laid out by plenty of other players, you will have a nice full bank account. That is not good justification to sell items like stars that are valuable. In real life you wouldn't go and sell the first thing you see because you need money for a new car; you'd save up and work hard. Stars are incredibly valuable and selling them (which will be very detrimental to you in the long run) because you need money now is a ridiculously bad idea.
If you want CCs, look for some of the strategy threads.

 

Coca cola maker was seled his recept just for 500 dolars, well it's looks like bad idea, or maby not if hi don't haved money for survive in real life. I fink it's great idea, if it's worthles for you and cc if more valuable, then whay not to exchange?

The maker of Coca Cola sold his recipe for just $500. It looked like a bad idea, but maybe not for him if he didn't have money to survive. I think it's a great idea, if it [stars] is worthless for you and CCs are more valuable, then why not exchange?

In response to that, it is important to note that your Coca Cola example is an individual example, but does not involve an entire system of currency. Stars are an entire system of currency and this suggestion talks about completely changing the basis for the star economy, which has a very specific place in the overall economy. The broader picture needs to be examined. If stars became a commodity, people wouldn't participate as actively in the farm quests. The tree of wisdom wouldn't require as much personal effort, so the price of things on the tree would probably have to go up. The dynamic of the market would change. Those who cannot afford to buy stars would have to earn their own, but this is more difficult if the cost of items on the tree goes up.

 

Buy or Sell, that is a question? Well we speaking just about selling stars not to someone, just for few cc. Buying not ivolved, few thouzans in player account will change nothing, no one will pay 10 000 for one star.
And cocacola exaple is not "individual example", pleas read about people who making lots of money and you will see that - hesburger story - 500 declines for his recepy. Don't look just in bright world part, Doss maker (starting computer black window for all computers), selled his program for few hundred to...
