all fixed now... wow. I need to come out of work mode and slow down when I read. Not everything is a race.... and certainly not a successful one if I skip all the important stuff. Thanks again for all your help.

 

I forgot to check how many hours were left on the timer when I finished the first step (most likely 10-12+), but finished I did and got my precious mouse stalls! If I can't have a mousery irl, at least I can in the game. Finished step 2 as well, and most of step 3 (only a couple of moustaches left). I haven't decided yet if I am going to bother with the last step, because I think I might be short on mugs no matter what and I am not fussed about the prizes anyway. Also can't wait to get back to regular farming, as I've just built my first cookware forge on this farm and am eager to get my donkeys into gear. At any rate I will do step 4 as well though, and I don't think I'll have any problem finishing that even w/o buffs (I have them, but am a cheapskate! ).

Edit: Almost forgot; I managed to get my dear mother to get up at 08:00 this morning even though it's a Saturday and she's as far from a morning person as anyone can be. With me on the phone to guide her through it, she added buffs (CAC, ZAB, PPP, EM and CB) and then started the timer for the first step and harvested the CW I'd told her to plant overnight. Now she's got CP growing, and she told me she'd somehow managed to get out of a family dinner to stay home and farm and I've promised not to reveal to her hubby the real reason (she fibbed and said she was too tired to go).

The first step will be completed in the next 3 hours.
I already have 13000 cubed watermelons, 13000 cubed pumpkins, and 742 mugs in the barn. I should be on tight schedule to produce 26 fake moustaches and to earn 208 mugs in less 74 hours.
But do not worry, I think I can handle it as soon as possible.
To my good friends and loyal neighbors, thank you so much for your help. Please give the mugs on someone else who needs it rather than me!

I know this isnt necessarily a strategy question. But where is the use button for the toolboxes i seem to be missing that part. I figured i might as well move those toolboxes to actual tools.

 

There should be a 'use' in a green box under the Toolbox big bob. Just click on it and it will show what tools are in your Toolbox and they will go into your Tools inventory.

 

The first step was completed with 17:40 hours remaining in the timer as well as the second step.
26 fake moustaches and 174 mugs to go to complete all tasks..

The green button "use" only appears on mainland field, green meadow, and magical glade.

 

Ok i think i am still not seeing it. I am able to see the toolboxes if i go through the barn and choose other on the drop down list. However, I cant seem to click on it there nor is there a green use button under it. Is there another way i should be accessing it to see this use button?

 

Ok got it now i wasnt looking through the decor area. Thank you for the help

Step 4 done. Disappointed in the 2 Mystery stables. Rooster and Classic Beaver II.

 

I thought it need much time. but actually, I had got enough drops & crops to
finished step 4, now only need 200 drops, CP & CW each around 1000, I will
be all done.
This event could be so quickly because I remove much of stall & workshop
to get the EP for step 1, then I just keep the field planting. But after finished
step 4, I put back some rare animal stall & workshop. the remain event crop
could be done slowly as I had much time. after I finished my last round of CP
I will be plant long crop high EP crop to boost the drop. CW will be plant on daytime
so that I do not need to login so frequency.

 

holy moly, lots of helpful information here! Still finding my way around, I posted for help in the sos thread and here it is, so informative and intimidating at the same time ! I see I need to spend even more time reading Thanks! I'm gonna give it a go, what's the worst that can happen?

I've completed step 4 and working on growing crops/getting drops for the last. Got a mouse and a rooster for my two stables. Was really hoping for something I didn't already have. A mouse, really? After just getting 2 in step 1?

 

Step 4 done My stables were a Red turkey and a Stork...not to bad. Plant a long crop tonight for drops and I should be able to finish tomorrow.

I took much advice from supportive friends that sent messages, I braved up and sold most of my animals and crops to get enough country coins to buy a easter marmalade and pinkie pie pie to add to the carrot bread and zucchini pie as suggested. I followed my written notes step by step, the timer has started! I made a mistake earlier, I wanted to get susy super grow the green, time reducer one and bought the propeller instead! I used it anyway I guess the extra crops are good. Hopefully it wasn't a bad mistake since my gold/bb is little amount now and not many quests left I can do, or anymore arrival offers. I will read up more on ways to get them .. Found out water is expensive..lol 100 doesn't sound bad until you try using it on all fields, but as suggested I did it. I set the timer on my phone so I will be able to harvest on time. I might have forgotten something but just don't know it yet.

Suzy's super-grow also gives extra EP (+50% EP on 2x2, +100% EP on 1x2, +200% EP on 1x1) so it's not a total loss.
