Congratulations to everyone that has finished!!!
@-Mir85- Thank-You for all the planning you did. Don't know what I would have done without the advice you posted.
"Bouquets of Flowers to my friends for their help" Could not have come this far without your help!
Still need 152 Mugs  Hoping overnite crops will bring a bunch :p 28 hours left to get more :p

@CaliChrome are we really going to need the Daffodils and Lily's for the Easter event? I thought the Lily's everyone has been talking about were the event flower?

    I finished yesterday.
    For the stable I got:
    • Mouse stall
    • Dovecote
As usual the useless stuff got thrown my way. Wonder where the stork, rooster, kiwi and wolf stable are hidden...

    :):):)

Bhodho - those stables aren't too bad. Anyway I sent you something small to cheer you up!

I'm missing 160 Mugs and then I'll be done. As I'm busy tomorrow I'll do a few rounds of "Instant-finished-roses" now to hopefully bump my drops.

Congrats to all that have finished and best of luck to all that are still working on the Event!

12ss12, I would skip the last level, you got the best prize, the cloud row and the easter event is probably starting soon :)

Scarlett, the rumors I have heard is that there is some sort of easter lily for event crop, and that we will need orchids and tulips in addition. There might be more of course, but that's at least what I've heard.

Thank you, Mir - for this event and for Easter event. I will go and concentrate on tulips and orchids.

On their own they aren't bad, but I have enough of those. And none of those I want...

It will be a miracle if I finish this event. So many miscalculations. Anyway, both farms have the (hopefully) final PWs in ready for harvest tomorrow morning. They should have been finished yesterday or at best this morning but, as I have often said, maths is not my forte lol! :p

Moustaches should be okay - only started them yesterday but with a little water and PF, they take 1 hour 42 minutes so they will also be finished tomorrow. :)

Mugs are pretty much on target, Illy needs 140 and this farm 160 so ... everything crossed (despite working this afternoon) I should finish it all tomorrow morning. :inlove:

But, if I don't finish, no biggy - -, this was an event that was pretty tricky for me to organise round RL - we've all been there, right! :music:

That's too bad Bhodo but congratulations Joyce. ;)

Hi everyone, I'm still behind on those blummin' mugs , need 169 now after todays first harvest. Bit of advice required obviously in regard to what the best thing to do now as regards getting the drops....I have filled 2 of 3 fields with roses (mostly, anyway) on the magical glade are a few workshops and trees I'm still waiting to be ready, the rest I've filled with roses and on Baha I've got half trees and half chilli (it's my longest crop atm), all the fields are on 1x1's. What do guys think? Are roses the way to go? I thought about waiting a few hours and putting in my longest crop in all 3 but I felt I should get something decent in them now and I've seen roses mentioned numerous times as regards getting the drops (I think??). I've just read someone's doing instant roses...I forgot about that before I planted and I don't really want to use up so much SG on all these 1x1's o_O

I always use roses as they give the highest EP for a crop only taking 10h 48m.to mature, less with water of course. I also always keep all my trees out in their normal places; never clear bahamarama or the glade ( I find the pens/trees etc give good drops ); I only clear pens from the two main fields for an event and replace as soon as I have nearly got all the event crops ( again to get better drops). I use small fields; CAC;ZAB and any pets/cloud rows applicable - when I remember it all !! ;) Incidentally - I never buy supergrow, I use what I get from jumbo trees and win in quests etc.
Good luck getting the last of the drops.

    Hi!

I finished last night, just after midnight. Stables were: orange rabbit (went into inventory) & orange bee (useful for Noah's Ark). Not particularly upset, since I just need a platypus and these wouldn't have given me one anyway.

I can breathe now. And sleep.

hi Was I glad to harvest animal stables this morning, they are up for sale now. lol
I have almost what is needed for step 4, I have 182/300 mugs. What would you do if this was you?
would you let step 4 go or would you complete? Completing would mean using money for mugs.

Can someone explain 'instant roses' for me? I've heard it referenced a few times but I haven't found the secret!

  18. cpeterson

    cpeterson Forum Inhabitant

    thetoadofeya,

"Instant roses" are only applicable if you've done any refining (see Arq's thread for more information). Two of the refinements available for roses increase the effect of supergrow which, when applied with water (manure is optional), means that roses only take ~8 minutes to mature (instead of ~8.5 hours with just water). Since drops are calculated from the crop's base time and not the actual time, a number of players use these almost "instant roses" to boost low drops near the end of events.

I've done the refinements for roses, but I usually do not supergrow them! But I hadn't thought of this! AHHH!

The comments I made were based on the posts in the rumor thread a number of days ago. New information from Mir indicates that the flowers required may be orchids and tulips. Sorry if anything I posted led you in the wrong direction.

    :)
