Today's annoouncement about Farmerama Team

I just read the announcement that said german team restructed, and sorry to say I did not understand what that means, could someone please elaborate on the subject just to know about the status of the English forum now, I tried the links and used google translator, but the translation was missy, so does that announcement means that:

1- No moderators available this time at our forum? and they are going to be replaced by new moderators,
2- if someone opens a thread, there is nobody to answer it, so we have to post in the german forum

I wish in case the moderators can't answer, kindly a player who can read german language to try to tell us what he understands if he/she happens to read the links in DE forum.

Teddy has been helping people today. You don't need to post anything in the German forum.

 

Nothing has happened on our forum. Our status hasn't changed. Our mods are still here. There are some changes happening on the German forum, but that doesn't affect the English forum. Just take a look around our forum...people are still posting, right? And mods are still answering, right? Nothing has changed. The announcement might say that people can't post on the German forum, but that doesn't have anything to do with us.

Since the change only affects people who use the German forum, I think linking to the German language page probably is helpful.

We have posted the announcement because the news has reached out community, and we did not want to keep you in the dark completely (well, we are in the dark more or less too). The message was directed towards the German players, who unfortunately are going through a hard time now - the DE Mod Team is being restructured, new moderators are being recruited, a new team is started. Please do not ask us for more details, because we do not have them. Due to the circumstances, most of the German Forum sections are locked - and the link was provided purely for the German players who wish to discuss this further - since it is not a topic that affects the other communities, it should not be discussed too much outside the relevant thread opened for this matter, in the DE Forum. A translation cannot be posted for the same reason, I am sorry.

This indeed does not affect the English Forum, we are all here (well, you might notice some of us missing but I can assure you that it is a coincidence - part of the mod team is busy in RL (real life) ) but we are not going anywhere, you do not have to seek assistance on other Forums, nor have to worry.

Thank you all for your concerns and input.

I will leave the thread unlocked for a while for further clarifications but please do not ask us difficult questions . The situation is sad and hard as it is.

There is absolutely no need to apologise, your comment was not rude at all - I don't speak German so I understand just as much as you do, and believe me, it is frustrating - Google translate is not the best tool in these cases!

All I can say....is............ I am thankful and feel relieved it's not happening to our forum or mods. Thank you teddy and all our other hard working and very very patient moderators!!!

 

Thank you very much, Brookeham. I do appreciate your kind words from the bottom of my heart, and the fact that you all are concerned about this matter is really touching - but it's hard to enjoy it due to the circumstances, I think we are all still under shock.

I'm going to close this thread before we turn it into a discussion I am sorry. If something needs to be asked on this topic, please open a new thread, but only if it is something really confusing that needs additional clarification - apart from the big "why".
