Now there were some terrible seeds on the planet that was the home of the little prince; and these were the seeds of the ------. The soil of that planet was infested with them. A ------ is something you will never, never be able to get rid of if you attend to it too late. It spreads over the entire planet. It bores clear through it with its roots. And if the planet is too small, and the ------- are too many, they split it in pieces . . .

I only know of one plant like this. Kudzu (SP??) in NC (where I originally from) you can literally watch it grow about a foot per day!

Hello and welcome to all the "refugees". Maybe we can start something new and better here?
No one minds this, as long as you stay on topic and are not rude. Mistakes, we understand.

It looks like a squash or cucumber, but I am not all that familiar with a lot of tropical fruits. Could it be one of those?

Jerusalem artichokes? (does look like the roots?) Or dandelions? I guess my brain is not working well enough....

On other fronts, does anyone know of a pending demand for Parrots? I have seen a very sudden spike in prices in my market.

Your brain doesn't have to work, we've already been told that the answer is Buddha's hand fruit cut in half. It's literally the first post on this page.:p

I found some facts about Baobab trees. there is six types of baobab in Madagascar and one in Australia, one of the eldest trees documented, the largest one estimated age is 1700 years, lives on dry lands and the need for water is minimal, the largest tree found took 50 persons to surround it as in this photo.
