Is there even the need of buying cuckoos? I am sure you have thousands of them.
Who does buy cuckoos? (maybe low leveled farms)

@Arielh - I do not know. People are using cuckoos for donating on animal thropy. But sooner or later, cheap cuckoos are depleted through the market.

@farmer_broke Hi broke. I need to talk personally with you in game. I need some personal advices...;)
Looking forward your reply anytime. Thank you!:)

best way to complete trophy. im always looking at market for cheap cuckoos. i try not to purchase any over 80cc but that is getting harder and harder to find now. average price seems to be around 100cc in my market. will be a good way to judge how many new players there are by keeping an eye on the price of cuckoos, once of course more seasoned players stop scooping them up for future profits.

    "ya baby ya"
got the living legend rune, no more transferring trophies :D

The following chart is the very beginning of an analysis. A similar analysis was done with tree fruit. THE DATA IS FROM MARKET 40. If one chooses to use this type of analysis then then the specific market data should be used.

Market price and feed prices are at this moment in time. They will change.

What one is able to see now is DEFINITELY not clear and one will see much more very easily.

Cuckoos: I haven chosen to play cuckoos and for several reasons. I just purchased a few at 53 before continuing to write and the market price in the chart is 153. I presently hold about 930,000 . Market prices vary and vary widely at this time.

May I suggest something, broke ?

You need 1 more table for mkt/exch/hr listing.

I hoped you would visit. Whenever I see your listings I always buy something from you.

    @SillyGuy
I agree other columns are needed. I'll add what you suggest and one more you may like.

Look how awful fish produce ccs! Terrible if producing to sell! Adjustment needed. Feed already high and possible due to lack of production and lack of demand. Whenever the adjustment is made, oranges increase further in price and it has been a while.

I'm going to play with cuckoos and the chance is that cuckoos will pave the way for a mass market failure to occur. Feed too high to produce, pens may be expensive, why produce them...very limited demand..... OR this is a way to spread the wealth and inflation to occur. <--- good possibility

There is a PnP's chart about what animal is the best for donating to the Animal Trophy. PnP's chart is ONLY for growing/breeding basic animals by ownself, not through market.

Hoarding animals by exchanging other animals through market was a little bit tricky, because we also have to calculate 10% commission fee.

The current event brings with it the low level crop call as previously discussed. Millions of low level crops have been gathered over time in order to serve the market while assisting in maintaining reasonable prices.

This farm operates as a clearinghouse and at times makes a market and at other times supports a market at prices which are reasonable. In this regard, breadth of items held becomes much more significant than depth of only a few items.

One must begin somewhere and deliberately begin to build a solid farm. Massive amounts of ccs alone are not enough and may even result in significant losses. Certainly one has buying power that may easily turn into overspending power. xD Likewise, massive stocks of items in the wrong areas or only in a few areas requires one to have patience or suffer losses to liquidate.

And one does not have to play the market in order to obtain significant quantities. Without engaging in knowledgeable market transactions and purposely staying clear of whim decisions, one must grow or produce the items and this act requires much more time with slow growth. But up to youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

Nothing stops one from playing the market while their crops are growing other than time itself.

(more on animals and analysis to come)

We grow stuff, we have stuff, so we sell stuff to get CC's, we have CC's so we buy stuff, we run out of CC's so we grow stuff to sell stuff to buy more stuff (it's so addictive) ........it's a never ending cycle.
Where o where are you leading us farmer_broke & Sillyguy, on a never ending path spiraling forever downward??? Are you helping us with our addiction or feeding it?:wuerg::eek:

Everyone does not work the market and some who do perform different from others. This thread is how to make ccs. And there are a number of ways to do so. Not to ignore dafodily but to add and use:

Indeed the generation of ccs is a seemingly "never ending path" and the "spiraling" may occur at different speeds, in different areas, and at different times. What do YOU want to do and how quickly would you like to do it and in what area(s) would you like to generate ccs? I nor Sillyguy can answer this for anyone ... but we both and other do and will share what we know.

Dafodily I believe we are both helping and feeding addictions. We also provide insight for others who are new to the game and have no idea of where to begin or how. If you wish to be a noticeable activist in your market then by all means strive for it.

This thread has moved far beyond the beginner emphasis on aspects of price and quantity. And beyond aspects of which button to push. I, and I am sure Sillyguy and others, will judge anything you have to offer and will be very very critical. BUT WE ALSO ARE WILLING TO LEARN FROM YOU or anyone else who has a method or idea concerned with making ccs in this game.

From experience here, I know others will listen to what you have to offer. If it is erroneous then it will be discussed and why. If it can stand on its own then bring it. If there is a question, there is usually someone here who will answer accurately. If not accurately, then rest assure even that will be addressed.

I agree Dafodily that the making of ccs through continuous buying and selling is "a never ending path spiraling forever..." Downward? Scan this thread and you will find a number of times I have mentioned that the developers of the game may choose a direction which crashes the market and downward.

Arielh, I only wish others will do what they wish to do as far as the earning of ccs is concerned .... and do it in a way that is enjoyable to them. Help and ideas are offered from so many experienced game players here. And we do have methods we are willing to share and many have thoughts which I have found worthy of consideration. The more mature we grow in this game, the more we recognize the unsuspected wisdom we hold.

Dafodily, I do not choose to attempt to lead anyone with the making of ccs here. I do not know where I am going and will gladly follow. But I do know where I have been. Many here will share what they see, be it accurate or not. You judge it for yourself. I advised of a lower level crop call approaching and most recent events have done exactly that. Buying and selling? Of course I bought a million carrots and two million hay......and I needed ccs ... and we all must begin somewhere if we wish to do it.

I began with lettuce and continue to play it and not because I must but because I can. And I choose cows too and I will sell them and move on to the next idea. And I will respectfully consider what everyone has to offer in my decision of direction.

Just because this thread is quiet many times, and for long periods of time, does not mean we are not attentive to what others have offered here. I visit here frequently to reread what others have shared. There are limitations in not having ccs in this game.

Question: Do you think investing in 1.2 million cuckoos to be a good investment or a bad investment? Why?

i dont think there is another crop that comes close to lettuce in offering ep or cc's. sometimes when im on for a few hours straight i will only grow lettuce.

question?? most of my time is spent scrolling the markets over and over. for so many products, the last page of offers, the price is often 100%-200% over the lowest price offered. i understand price can fluctuate dramatically here but most of these products do not move in price for weeks, with 50+ pages of offers. offers do expire after 7 days right? why do people purposely put offers at such a high price? is this backroom trading, people helping out others by buying their products at high prices?

Why? I've thought and thought about this. There are a few reasons:

    1. Most simply do not know any better. Ignore the game for a minute. Would you buy an apple for 5 when you can buy the identical apple for 1? Identical! I doubt it. The seller may know little of price.
    2. When one lists on the market there is a market index which is listed on a sliding scale. Many simply ignore what is mentioned above and simply casually make listings and increase the price for little reason other than they can do so. Many of us know that the item will not sell, the individual listing has paid a 10% commission in advance, and the item will be returned to their barns. In this way, individuals are encouraged to do so. So let's give them an excuse. But I don't believe either of u will give them ccs.
    3. Many do not view the market prices for a specific item. They just list to be listing and are in essence throwing away the ccs they do have with little chance of earning more.
    4. One may list an item for up to 175% of the market index. One may! But this does not mean the item will sell. A few and taking a chance on a dramatic market increase before their seven-day listing expires. And what a chance many take with little reason for the action. Remember their are also different ages and backgrounds people playing the game have.
There are several market indexes, which initially are set by the game developers, which have not begun to move. Glace at the market for cherry or plums and just scroll until you find the price with the most offers. Then try and list. Glance at the market index and you will fid it set at exactly that amount. The index has not become dynamic because prices have not surpassed the preset index.

For about twice the time spent growing lettuce one can make approximately three times the ccs by producing and selling wheat. The ep earned by growing is the same. (Using oat bread as a buff will increase your return even more.)

Buying and selling lettuce is also an inexpensive way of learning to trade in the market. Few wish to work the lettuce market because the absolute cc return is very little. But the return on the invest often is phenomenal.

in the two months i have been playing i dont think i have even taken notice of the index.

i see the cc's for wheat now, wonder what i was thinking? carrots, lettuce and wheat all give 1 ep but lettuce takes half the time to grow so twice as much ep can be made, am i reading this wrong too?
