Screw up of the day

Planting long term overnight crops last night, screwed up and planted the meadow with the event crop. Was just too tired to wait on it so went to bed. Woke up in the middle of the night thinking 'my lilies are ready' but no I didn't get up. Rushed to harvest this morning (thinking of those lilies). Forgot all my buffs had run out (timed for MM)....No CAC...harvested everything...
Hope it's not going to be one of those days

I forgot there will be a MM event today so now I need to wait 20 minutes to start growing MM crops...

 

This day just keeps going for mistakes.....

Forgot to leave a gold buff slot for the terror bouquet and had to choose to delete either ZAB or EM. *sigh*

well when the 20 minutes passed I forgot to plant MM crops and then when the 4 hours passed I forgot again to plant MM crops. So I still haven't

 

Harvested three fields of Easter lilies without CAC

 

I received from Easter eggs 2 SSG and last night I tried to use them but no were to find. I'n the morning... again. Then I created treed that I'm missing SSG. After a checked in my barn (how I was told to do), I realized that I received STM not SSG And I tried and logged In from another PC, and tab...

Ok now I don't understand half of this but it is nice to see what I have to look forward to.
I know I will be messing up daily as I take on the levels to come. Thanks everyone I don't feel so bad at the click it and see what happens approach I did when comming on the 1st day, really wish I found forums 1st lol

 

So just discovered that I did this first thing this morning: I had just 10 minutes of seeder time left (I completed the eggs quest to get it!)...so I hurriedly seeded my Bahamarama crops - but forgot to remove my newly available comfort fields...so I have easter lilies in comfort fields - only 4 of them, but still. So when I discovered this just now, seeing as I'd already planted them...why waste - so I used manure, supergrow and Suzy's speeder upper (the one with the crop duster)...and now they are down to 7 hours and will yield 21 lilies each. (I nommed a CAC this morning, too.) So screw up abated as best as possible.

 

I knew this group would be easy door coverage I just didn't know I would be greased like piggies at the fair, and thrown in by linebackers via keyhole! no waiting for the door to open.

Today I done got shown I am sad. I need to do some really basic things it turns out:

1. scroll down all the way! Colour animals and how to use them, reeeeallly helps if you go passed the 1st part, breeding in the farm is good info to know it seems when you want to know what a cocoa is and getting one. If you do as me just go line by line and stop before that post, it makes gaming a new path of fun.

2. Read terminology explained thread. really I thought after the 1 st few posting this area was for higher levels..... colour animals= things you will need. go figure.

3. Click on areas even if you think you are not worthy, you get stuff in there it seems.

4. don't just click, say what you are doing out loud before I do it, even after reading others on this I go and give power food instead of regular thank gwads it was only a couple of times

Now I get to re-read every forum again just to see if I missed something
I love myself it seems I wounder what I will learn tomorrow the hard way.........

 

Whopper of the day: Just earned enough to buy a Moringa tree from Renzo's fair. Then, after I've purchased it, I discover that it's the VERY last tree on the Very last "page" of the Bahamarama Temple. Soooo now what do I do with it? t's gonna be years before I get there at the rate I'm opening things up on Bahamarama. When we have the trade event, would someone want it? Can I even trade it then?

 

I am not sure, I don't think you can trade it sewinglady. The tree comes as an upgraded tree, that means base tree + XXL tree. Once you place it (must have the statue unlocked) and delete it, then it will split up. The thing is, we can usually not trade upgraded things.

But they are reworking the G&T event, so who knows, might be possible next time.

But anyway, you can write to support and nicely ask if you can return it to Renzo, explain that you are a new player. It is worth a try

Are you talking about a specific upgrade that is not tradeable? I have been able to trade and gift (and receive) upgraded pens and trees in previous Gift and Trade. I just don't know if you can trade items you have in inventory that are 'locked' until you reach that level. Possibly a GQ for teddy to answer? sewinglady - if you cannot return it to Renzo, and if you can trade it next G/T, I would be happy to trade something you can use (either another tree or animal pen).

 

If I can't trade it, I'll keep it as a reminder to NOT buy things before finding out if I can use them! I've just finished the 'corn' level of the restaurant quest and received a lovely golden Buddha statue...and I'm wondering why this is so valuable. I bet it's that cloud row thing, huh? I'm going to have to suck it up and sell stuff to have the CCs to buy hungry bats.

 

It has no value at all - utterly useless, gives no cc, no ep, nothing. You can trade them during gift and trade which is what I did - for an apple tree I believe!

 

I just knew it! Well, at least I got a star out of that level of the quest. Ya gotta look for the silver lining...I try so hard to be a 'glass half full' person, but some days, it doesn't work so well.

 

pnp, I wasn't very clear by upgraded things I mean things were the base is stuck to the upgrade in the inventory. We don't usually have upgraded trees and pens in our inventory. With some items, if you put the upgrade on the base, they stick together so that when you delete it from the field it will go to the inventory as one upgraded item, doesn't split up. These upgraded items have not been tradeable.

Upgrades (separated from the base) for trees and stables and items are of course tradeable

The reason why I had this all thought out, is that I considered it before getting the XXL Moringa myself. I haven't even opened the last chamber yet, so it will be a while. Thought I could trade it, but then realized I probably can't. Still, it was too good a chance to let it pass by, and now I have two

 

Well, if Mir85 has TWO and can't use them, then I guess I'll have one I can't use and we'll just admire them every time we open our tree section in Bahamarama and dream of the day when we can plunk 'em down there...

 

if i am correct you cannot use deco items that give no ep in cloud rows from what i read i faq. i spent a lot of time and cc completing the quest to open cloud row and now it sits there empty. do not know best strategy for cloud rows but from what i can see it is best to fill the park with ep deco items first before starting to fill cloud rows. since i am trying not to spend rl money for bb i ended up buying a bunch of cheering fans (1k cc each) to fill up the park for ep.
