I have decided to take a stand and fight my FOCD for the 1st time ever i shall not be taking part in a Event!!!!! i know unbelievable ..... BUT given the requirements need for the event as well as the fact we have no mill answer ... yet again no STARS offer BP can bite a big one, i will not fold to it !!!! ,,,, I shall leave my lovely trees in place ..... enjoy tending my lovely laid out farm lands ... and Bp can take a hike ....

 

I now read the FAQ of the event and it seems difficult. I still think if I will take part... maybe I will only try for some rewards.

 

Pfffft they can keep their rewards as far as i'm concerned at the moment .... whats saying they wont change the rules in a couple months and make the rewards EP value only 85 EP or something thats along the lines as whats happened with the mill and cloud row

 

Yes you are right. They beggin to make the game unfair.

 

sorry just the way i feel at the moment i feel very cheated .... So i will keep my lovely little farm all laid out as it is now .... Grow what i want when i want .... might even put some animals down for the people that are in need of paying a price for things and just sale along i think .....

 

Hmmmm, at a quick glance, yes I could do it, but a) I think it will bore me to tears and b) no stars ... yet again. Clearly BP are not listening to us. I suspect I shall be giving this one a miss ..... in fact if things carry on like this I will probably save my BB's until the next gift and trade event, buy a load of licences, give everything away that I can and then sell everything in my barn for 1cc before sailing off into the sunset in search of entertainment elsewhere.

 

I haven't done an event in over a year. The last one I did was for the raccoon mask production pen. I got tired of living my life around farmerama. I now actually enjoy the game and play when I want too, not when someone else wants me to.

 

Oh my...I am so torn. I would love to get far enough to get the 'Mucha's Masterpiece' reward as he is one of my favorite artists. But, this does seem incredibly hard...so now I'm wondering if I should just participate through the first few levels and spend the majority of my time make CCs selling wanted crops and critters at the market in support of those who are attempting to finish the quest? I have a lot to do this week in RL.

 

i'll probably end up giving in and doing it anyway ..... BUT i'm just so very miffed at the game producers at the moment ..... my blood is slightly on the boil .....

and I'm stressing out about my little Miss poppy .... i'm worried sick about her at the moment ... shes had a mass come up right over her hip a rather large one .... i have to take her to the vet in the morning but i'm fretting about her

I've been reading more closely at what we get for completing the various levels. There's HEDGEHOGS! I Don't have any, so now I have a goal: Level Three Gold - that would get me one hedgehog stall. I could live with that and I think it's pretty doable in the time given. We'll see if I push on at all past that, but for now...

Personally I'm not very impressed with some of the rewards given that it's a hard event BUT I am planning on doing the event but only some of the steps as I would really like that Cloud Row and trees! It's the first CR to give Herbal Elixirs isn't it? And I do love the graphics for the decorations, I think they're cute!
Also sending best wishes and luck for the vets and healing love to Miss Poppy!!

 

Yes, first cloud row for herbals and with only a 12 hour cool down, you could harvest twice a day.Nice....

 

1.30am here i cant sleep for worry .... my belly is doing loops ..... Just have to wait and see i guess Shes not even 4 yet So i hope its not the big "C" i would like to think shes to young for something like that I guess i wont know till tomorrow if i know then

Doing the event does not mean that you don't stand up to what you believe, and giving up is when you decide not to participate, we all said what we want in the feed back, and I don't think BP would care if we did not do the event, it happened that I am playing two other games by BP, if you see the forums there, the players always feeling bitter, and always angry, but they keep playing to tell that they have the choice and they choose to play, they stand for what they believe and take every chance to express there anger and disappointment, if you choose not to do the event, let it be for another reason, otherwise we give up hope for this game and this beautiful community and we let them win.

The issue here in farmerama, is not a cloud row, or fixing a mistake, they are enforcing a new system, lately we had seen many changes and a lot is coming, and some companies when they do radical changes to the system, they tend to sacrifice some old customers and they start targeting a new type of customers, in this case the paying players who are new and not familiar with the old system, so they don't complain or protest, so the concept of a free farming game is no more, and by quitting, or not participating, we tell them: fine, have it your way, you win.

 

All went well at the vets for anyone that was thinking of me this morning with Miss poppy .... the vet did some needle biopsies and a ultrasound of the masses and she seems to think its fat cells .... so just wait and keep an eye on it any dramatic changes with the lump/mass take her right back ..... wooooooooohooooooooooo so happy today not even BP can drag me down
