When you "harvest" your dragon, it may take immediate effect so wait until you have something you want the bonus on. (Can't remember for sure if it will but my nightmare did so be prepared.)

Yup, when I harvested him, I got 20 minutes of bonus EP - so good thing I did it before I harvested pigs and crops.

Lily you can buy the pets too. Every once in a while BP give us a sale where we can buy 'the pet of the moment'. At Renzo Fair (at the moment, it could change whenever BP feel like it) there is the Dragon and the Nightmare Pets available to win.

Congratulations, Sewinglady - you're going to be a mummy! :p

Those of you n the know about Baha - particularly the icons: I am looking at them and seeing a lot of things that won't really be of much use to me now, as I have so little land. I opened two parcels and there is a third at the 7th window/slate/slab - whatever it is called - and I am wondering if I should ignore everything else and just open each of the slabs until I get to that one, to have more land to plant all the corps and animals that the others offer. Any thoughts?

More land - always go for the land first, then you can grow more crops/animals and level up quicker.

I did this and was quite happy. Also, don't forget that once you have your artists village (don't need a trade, I don't think, just have the ability to have them), you can buy products in the market like red punch that will help you up your Baha lands.

I opened up the first two sections of Baha. The third is a long ways off...so I decided to selectively open some crops and animals. I also opened the first Farm Society Customer - He (I think it's a he, anyway) gives lots of BEP for some orders...helps you level up much faster. I haven't opened any of the breeding statues and I also haven't fooled with the workshops for Bahamarama. Not enough room at this point.

I've got a game plan in mind on the trade. I'm going to go with confectioner first but I'm going to hold off choosing the trade until I have all the items to actually get somewhere with it. It can only help me in the long run to get a major jump on the other trades by continuing to collect those drops. At this point I have all the stuff to actually get past the initial quest but I still need more stuff before I could actually make anything helpful. So I will be patient and wait.

Yes, land is a priority. The temple has chambers, the chambers have statues. Open the land available in the first chamber. Don't kill yourself trying to get to the chamber with the last section of land or you may miss some items that are really helpful. Trees are very useful. Check the FSQs to see which will help out on gaining BEPs.

I would consider opening at least one animal for breeding to take advantage of the Baby Boom Days that show up during events.

To maximize the space on Baha, I put out trees on about 1/3, pens on about 1/3 and crops on 1x1s on the rest. Even though I hand harvest most of the time, I think this is the one place where it is worth the effort to do 1x1s. During non-event times, I use a pineapple cake to up my harvest on both Baha trees and crops. (I use 2x2s during non-event times on my mainland farm fields.)

if i understand you correctly, someone correct me if i am wrong. chris, you do not have to open every chamber before to get to the 7th chamber, the one you want. just click on which chamber you want and then click on the plus sign and see if it is green(you have enough bananas). you can pick and choose whichever chamber you wish to open first. its just that the farther you go to the right the more bananas the statues cost.
i am also saving bananas to open the 4th field statue.

Interesting. I just assumed we had to open them in order left to right. Maybe I should start breeding monkeys next. I think there's a breeding event coming towards the end of the month.

Some time ago I wanted to open chamber 6 and when I clicked to pay the chamber that opened was chamber 4, the very next chamber in line to be opened. Assumed from that experience that chambers must be opened in order but the contents can be done randomly (still some prerequisites depending on the statue you wish to open)

The chambers must be unlocked in order. The statues in a row must be unlocked in order. Animals must be opened before you can open the statue for breeding said animals. Breeding quests will not show up until the breeding statue is unlocked.

You need not unlock every statue in a chamber to open the next chamber.
