Just glad you are not bored to death farmerlily I know my kind of "fun" is not everyone's cup of tea, on the other hand, a lot of things other people do for fun bore me to death

chookie, you really had a good point before (not the part about harvesting every 30 minutes, but something else you mentioned), now look at the hint I gave Arielh


Just so that you are not disappointed, the solution is not super exciting, just a convenient "trick" that I thought I would share

 

I don't know enough about the nature of the deco items to make an informed guess on this. But with that picture it looks as if you are getting 16EP every 30 minutes not 10. Based on the other guesses this seems to be due to having pets. I just don't see the part of the significance of it being in your park as opposed to shipwreck bay.

 

That is exactly the point LDCrow After harvesting all my pets, I check how much EP the snow-blower shows. I have 6 owls that each give a +10% bonus, so with all of them activated the snow-blower should show 16 EP. I use it to check that I didn't forget any of the pets and that all of them registered. Sometimes when I change field to quickly or there is a lag, the pet isn't activated. If it just one owl, it's not such a big deal, but if it is the three pets on shipwreck bay (owl+dragon+unicorn = +50% bonus) it is annoying.

The snow-blower is so convenient because the basic EP is 10, so it is very easy to see how big the bonus is. I looked for an item that gives 100 EP or 1000 EP, that I could use instead, but I have none, so for now the snow-blower stays It is also very much a habit thing, I check it automatically, I would be confused if it wasn't there

 

So it's a built in quick check for you to see that you have all your pets activated. That's pretty cool. I've already had a few instances when I've come back to harvest my chickens I find them still waiting to be fed. So any self checks for things are handy devices to be had.

 

Great idea Mir Thanks for sharing this. I'm constantly scrolling through counting owls. Now with the flower CR and other Buffs sometimes that can be up to 4 pages. Will now have to go find my snow blower.

 

Yes LDCrow, there are so many things to remember, so I like to have small check points and things to remind me Routine also helps me a lot, like harvesting the fields in the same order.

I agree JJ, counting the owls in the buff window is not very convenient

Mir, that's genius and yet so simple - off to get mine off a cloud row and stick it next to my dragon - might make me stop forgetting to activate it!

For me it is mostly about routine, in the beginning I forget it very often, then after a while I do it automatically. I have most of the cloud rows incorporated in my routine now

 

Especially when you have the flower cloud row activated!

 

Yeah I don't understand why they put so many symbols for that
