    The requirements for the Rodeo Babies Breeding event are:
    Calves 28
    Foals 40
    Brown cows 18
    White cows 12
    Halflingers 18
    Shetland Ponies 12
    carrot mash 144
    Fennel cereal 72
    Apple oatmeal 36
    Pear Farina 24
    Hay 900
    Soybean 700
    Sorghum 800
    Apples 120
    Pears 100
    Walnuts 145

    For breading the cows and horses :
    264 cows (skips not counted, or BBD)
    264 horses
    264 power feed

    for milling the feed:
    864 carrots
    432 fennel
    144 oats
    72 apples
    96 wheat
    48 pears

    The notable rewards:
    60 hours total of all harvester helper
    6 party spins
    4 CAC
    5 MOS
    4 Green Mateato
    95 power feed
    and the cloud row
    I hope this is accurate(if something is wrong please post and I shall edit).

    Another thing to consider is that we can start milling feed tomorrow, but BBD will probably start on Friday, so I think I will have all the baby food ready before I even start the breeding :)

    I would like to know if we can mill the feed on the island too? I know we could last time but we can't take it is a given. Before I embarrass myself and ask the question, has anybody seen this anywhere? :p

    On the whole (apart from me working again this weekend, but even so I am still hoping we will have a BB weekend) I like the look of this event, the prizes are good and our beloved stars are back! :D

    You will be fine Ivancica, you will probably get most feed milled overnight and with the Mill bonus still active times are halved. as Froggy pointed out just mill in small amounts so you are not waiting.

    This is my plan as well. :D

    Like @Chevrefeuille , I'm working this weekend and so am I hoping I can get everything done in the shorter amount of time I have to use BBD. I'll use Pink Jelly and I think there's a cloud row for faster breeding too which I have.

    While this is accurate, with BBD and skips it might be more useful to assume you'll use:
    100 cows,
    160 horses,
    130 power feed.

    This would give you 25 calves and 40 foals, and would most likely give you the breeding animals you will need as it will also give about 35-40 coloured cows and 60 -70 coloured horses, mostly the lower ones (since Baby Boom mostly gives an extra coloured animal, but sometimes 4 basic animals instead. The Baby Boom rune will also be helpful here)

    Actually abubadi has done the maths in the Rodeo Babies Event Strategy thread :). Think these two threads are gonna get a tad mixed up but on about the same thing!o_O but I'm sure both will be as useful and full of tips and advice :)

    Thank you so much for posting this abubaddi!!!!!!!!
    Especially how many basic animals we will need... just in case shimmers wonderful optimistic numbers don't happen on my farm. My farm tends to be kinda pessimistic in breeding so it's best for me to prepare for the worst LOL.
    My brain is so mushy sometimes it just takes me forever to figure this stuff out so it's very helpful to have someone print it out plainly.

    A little correction: we only need 900 hay (300 in Gold 1, 600 in Diamond 1), that is to say, if I'm correct :D

    A quick note for you: the FAQ has been updated, level 5 Diamond needs 7 Calves, not 4.

    Well, that doesn't make any difference to the 'worst case' numbers calculated by abubadi66, but means the minimum numbers are now:

    112 cows,
    136 power feed.

    I have a question- are we going to get Calves only during breeding cows? not when we breed brown cows to get white cows?

    you get Calves no matter what colour cows you breed farhana

    That means if someone has got enough brown cows need not to breed 112 cows to get those 28 calves, same goes for the horse breeding :)
