yes thats right ..... BUT no good going out and buying just the coloured animals needed and think you will not have to do any breeding as you only get the bubs when breeding lol if that makes sense

Nope! I'm gonna grow everything in my farm, even the normal cows and horses, buying coloured animals is out of question :p

It's a good thing I've prepared for this event. I'm just raising the last batches of Cows and Horses :) Only thing left to do now is to grow enough crops for this event, but luckily the requirements are not that high! :D

It's good to see an event where we don't need a very high amount of crops/animals. I like it :)

I might just raise some more cows and horses to sell them on the market. Might as well make a few extra CC's :)

Oh, and if my calculations are correct, we need a total of 48 hours to mill all the products. It's a good thing we can add three products at once in the mill. Now all that's left to do for me is check if I've got enough feed to raise extra cows and horses :D

    Have fun everyone!

Barn stock?xDxDWould you believe, I have only 5 cowsheds and 10 horse stables, yet I have some in my stock but I am selling them in the market. I will grow fresh for the event, I think I'll get couple of days to grow cows and horses as I am gonna wait for BBD to breed colour animals. I have six long days to get all the event requirements, no hurry:music::music:

farhana and igotfrogs, I'm thinking you need to breed regular cows and horses to get the calves and foals. I could be wrong but I don't think so:p

Hi julie :) you will also get them when you breed colored cows and colored horses, like Frogs said :) At least that is the way it was in all the other baby breeding events :p

Yes, fifitrixiebell. Thank you. I went through that thread too.

So the learned one, wise one are CJAT & abubadi66.

My post was before the opening of the thread by abubadi66. Just thought to mention it and not as an argument.:):)

See, we all have started the event it much before the event started and striving towards by getting the necessary animals, feed etc. I think many of us would finish the event within 15- 20 mins of the starting of Baby Boom Day (if there is one).

I haven't unlocked the breeding runes yet. Thinking I need to get some stars and open the ones for horses and cows. Funny but yesterday someone (or more than one) cleaned out butterflies from market 9. I wonder if they thought this next event was going to involve butterflies?

In RL, my sister and her husband spent the weekend at his family ranch - branding all the new baby calves! So now is the right time of year for this event.

PS: What's a green mateato? I did a search but there weren't any results.

The runes that help are the "Quick breeder" rune and the "Baby boom" rune :) There is no need to open the starter packs for cows and horses ;) Just note that you will need to open one of the starter pack runes to get access to the branch with the two other breeding runes. But you can open the starter pack for any animal you want :)

You are correct, it is just BBD is not announced yet, so I thought may be some players are not going to wait for BBD, if it should come on Friday as usual, your numbers are very close, it is just that the results are not the same for all players and it happened before some skips may be higher than anticipated, so in this case the numbers may vary, we my need a little more than your numbers, and who knows, some lucky players who have the rune with some luck may have less numbers, by getting 6 regulars or 3 colored animals.

For all who corrected me, thank you very much, the numbers are edited in the OP.

BBD, from previous posts it will start on friday and only run for 2 days? side note, what artisan products to use for best and fastest results? either on their own or in combination.

Yes, I expect BBD to start on Friday :) Pink jelly reduces the breeding time by 50% :)

For the breeding process it is only pink jelly, and the cloud row, they reduce the time, but if you are going to use the stalls to produce the animals there is products that reduces the time for animal housing like cheese balls and valentine pot.

Aha! Thanks. I forgot about those. I had looked at that branch a while back, but forgot about that one. Pink jelly helps, too, right?

Speeds up breeding Sewinglady. With Pink Jelly (remember to start it before you place animals in the motels) and four pheromones means breeding in about 9 minutes. :D

If you are lucky enough to have the Cloud Row which speeds up breeding, that time comes down to less than 5 minutes! xD

I know someone has beat me to it ... I'm going to guess it's Mir! :p

    Edit: I guessed right! :music:

My strategy: prepare all the necessary milled products, try and do a bit of breeding if/when BB starts on Friday evening at 18.00 pm and again after work on Saturday and Sunday. If all else fails, I am off on Monday and will breed till I drop! xD

*Still find it a little weird to talk about breeding like this, makes me chuckle. The giggly schoolgirl is still in there somewhere!* :inlove:
