Are the pets a good value at 50% off? This is an area I'm still clueless about just wondering if I'm going to wish I got one while the sale was one.

 

coming to the forum is like taking a break at work. going outside to have a smoke, find your bearings before getting back to the grind. is this normal for bp to overlap so many events?

 

No, I have never seen anything like this before and according to the preview calender we will have events non-stop for the first 13 days of May

 

Definitely the owl is - I bought all 6 of mine in the sale.

So having said we don't like back to back events look what we get at the start of May.

 

maybe year end is april or may for bp? want to show huge profits for the last quarter before they sell the company.

 

I was able to get the dragon pet at Renzo's this time around. The description is kind of vague on just exactly where I need to put it. Does it have to go on a field? Does it only give the EP bonus for the field it's on?

 

The EP bonus is good on all fields, not just where it is placed. If you hatch it on Shipwreck Bay, you can get some BEP and then you can move it to your park as it doesn't have an EP value itself after hatching.

Just a little hint to all newbies before the Shop Sale if over The Classic II animals for the Island are good investments. The Classic II Parrot is on sale of 13 BB's, it's base time (without buffs or water) is 1:48 compared to 3:00 for the regular one and gives 63 BEP. The same goes for the other Classic II pens. I personally love these pens

That's because you need to go to Baha to see the Baha stuff in the shop!

Baha is moving at a glacial speed for me so I forget to do much other than rotate which of the 6 crops I have unlocked I want to grow next. Got some new trees though so I will have to go and admire them as well. That parrot pen is fancy...I like it.

 

i stopped growing crops in baha, bought a bunch of mango trees and monkey pens. after i read jjenks post i went to check, already spent a good chunk of my bb on orange chickens. now stand at 24 orange chicken pens. i only bought 1 orange monkey pen. wish i had thought about baha before. i am making good cc selling monkeys and mangoes. even found some gifts in baha create i had forgot to check.

 

Thanks to jjenks, I managed to get one each of the parrot and elephant classic II pens and one each of the orange pens for monkeys and pandas before the sale was over. Those classic pens sure shorten the growing time! I only keep one each of the animal pens going on my Bahamarama...and I haven't started to fool with the workshops for any of the 4 animals at this point. With so many trees going on Baha, leaving adequate room for growing crops is hard.

 

thats why i like the pens in baha, a monkey is ready in 3.5hrs with just water and can sell it between 1800-2000cc. a parrot takes just over 2hrs and sells around 960cc. the feed for them is usually cheaper on the market than milling it yourself. then get to sell the poo too. then i just buy the baha crops for fsq and put the extra cc's to other uses. woody had mentioned this earlier. been doing it for 3 weeks on main farms and finally decided to change baha over too.
wish i wasnt so cheap and bought bb's, would have all orange monkey pens making a ton of cc. i opened up elephants, sell around the same price but take longer to grow. dont know about pandas yet.

 

Maybe I'll just clear the fields plop down my new scorch tub (I had a very good day at the fair yesterday) surround it with parrot and monkey pens and fill the rest in with trees. I'm sick of growing pineapples anyway. I've already completed the parts of the FSQ's I can until I unlock more stuff anyway. Seems like a plan.

 

FYI: Usually, events are one at a time, but in the past. BP has scheduled multiple events at the same time. Usually, they are events do not require the same resources such as this time with having B&T with Renzo. They have never had to crop growing events at the same time, but they do occasional have an crop growing event with something else like Renzo fair.

I did not catch who said it, but I think there motivation is the bottom line on their profit margin for a given period of time.

Can some kind soul give me a link to info about the "cloud rows" - I keep seeing them mentioned, and I know they have something to do with the beanstalk, and there is something connected with them in the event, so it would be good to have foreknowledge - I haven't opened the beanstalk yet as I need to breed some bats for it, so that cant happen til next event. And I am wondering if the stalk reward iin the event is worth trying for, or if (like the harvester) it expires shortly after getting it (rather than after first using it)

 

Here is the magical beanstalk FAQ When you win a cloud row during an event it adds to your beanstalk, it is a permanent thing, so you will not loose it, and it doesn't expire If you haven't opened the beanstalk yet, the cloud rows you win will be waiting for you when you unlock the stalk. Details about what the event cloud rows give are found in the event FAQs. For most of the event cloud rows you will also need the items from that event to be able to activate the cloud row.

 

best and quickest way to get the 3 hungry bats is to buy them at the market. it might take you a few tries at mm to unlock bat breeding.
