to best use of CAC, better to use 1x1 as it is plot+2 , use 2x2 you only got (5+2), but 1x1
same space you will get 4X (2+2)=16, esp you don't want to uproot everything.

It does seem like a short amount of time for that many crops. But I'm all in :p Who doesn't love Ice Cream :inlove:
Wondered why pigs and cows were still priced so high

Porkchop, If your using CAC I'd go to 1x1 plots. Maybe one of our Math wizards will stop by with the figures as that's just not my strong suit ;)

On a field with 200 1 x 1's with CAC you'll get a total of 800 crops (600 if you count replant). When you use 2x2's you'll get 220+ (160+ when you count replant) a little something extra for the 1x1's you're left with on the field. That's a rather huge difference.

    So you mean ice cream?

Milk is a product of a cow dairy. You can build a cow milk dairy (slow and honestly, not cost-effective except for the few you need to complete a timed quest.. cannot remember which one or how many) or get them from a cow milk tree (check out G & T offers.. you might score!), else you can buy it in the market.

I would not recommend milling it, it is generally cheaper to buy it since there are so many with cow milk trees. (this may change as the event approaches... do buy QUICKLY!)

    100keltic,
Milk is usually one of the lowest priced products (300-700 cc's) and you only need 54 in total for the ice cream. You may not be able to complete the whole event, but you might want to see if there are some rewards you could receive that might make a partial participation worthwhile.

    Happy Farming!

Your right, it's only fake money I spent it and got milk.
I got the animals, well low on bees but not by many growing them now, I see where the list says I can win my money back I really have something to aim for in this now!!!
Thank-you for pointing it out, I need to stop thinking in the box.
    I can do it too!

I am a bit confused  about when this starts, for me its Wednesday evening and I am working Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning.... so I hope the week-end is part of the event..... so I can participate. I've been rushing around so, since getting home from work that I hurried through the Faq's for the event and didn't catch the start day. Medium level, not so much for me with the event plants required time... although this may help me with drops. I'm not quite there on the top rune... but if I can complete this event, I will be that much closer. Thank you Arielh and others for the breakdown of items necessary, my inventory looks good for this event. Good luck everyone!

You should thank Arielh, not me, she is the one who posted the requirements, she have to be credited for her work, don't you think so.

Thank you to everyone for all the helpful hints and tips.
I will exhaust my supply of animals again though with this one.
The requirements are becoming too much for me to keep up with:cry:
I just used up all the cows with the breeding event - I should have enough before this one ends - started to use power feed to produce my four basics fast.
I am worried about the Parent Day though since it is going to need sheep looks like.
It is just too hard to sit out the events hoping to get good results from the trees and stables.:p
Wishing good luck to everyone else to get those rare trees and stables:D

    FAQ "The Lighthouse Beckons
    * From what level can we participate in this event?

    From level 2."

I have passed that stage years ago, so I don't clearly remember -a level 2 player will be able to produce/buy bees, cows, pigs and goats?

I have 2 event flowers on my farm and can't use them. Edelweiss and Gentiana. What are they for since there isn't any event scheduled on the calendar?

    NO!
But they can participate by growing and donating the crops. They should be able to complete L1 completely...

Many thanks Arielh for the very nice snapshot view of all the requirements. :) So very helpful.

I got to pull out all the cowsheds I just bought for the breeding event and with one round I had all the cows I needed. So happy I made that investment. I've got all the requirements just have to grow the crops and get the drops. Hoping to finish early as this weekend starts our local County rodeo and fair (for real) and I will be pretty busy. Good luck to all with the event!

So tired. Closed my G&T event. Made up mind not do any more work on my farm until tomorrow event. Going to reserve all my energy for tomorrow. Thanks Arielh for the thread. I thought I will not be able to do this event as I will be packing off for my tour. Seeing your post about the requirements I feel I might be able to do it within few days before my tour starts. Will be missing MM events. Especially mini event. I love surprises. If Giant seedling event arrives earlier, then I might miss that too.

But I am off for a real tour visiting my relatives and friends and spending time with them. That should never be missed.
