Parents Day Strategy

I'm using CAC. So, I have decided to leave my trees and Pandas. I am also growing pepper and bromeliad for the theme party FSQ.

 

i dont have pepper open yet, but bromeliad is selling between 70-75. 16x70=1120/2:50hrs.
panda is selling 2400/15hrs. water has same effect on both. you can grow the bromeliad 5 times on the same space for a total of 5600cc compared to 2400 for panda.

 

Very true, however, I eventually need them for castles in the sand. I only leave one pen out so it's not taking up that much space. I only harvest two pandas a day. I rarely sell anything from Baha. I grow what I need to fulfil the FSQ and that's it. Later, as I get through the levels I may, but the idea now is that as long as I am getting the bep from the quests AND harvests, it's better than just having the bep from the harvest and then selling!!

 

Well I got off to a bad start on this one! I guess my brain wasn't engaged before I jumped in. Still had my fields in 1x1 from MM and switched 10 to 2x2 to get a quick start on the event crops. Unfortunately my harvester was still active and without thinking I used it to seed Mother's Love... thought at 1frst they disappeared but then realized they were seeded to 1x1 instead of the 2x2 I'd just put out for them. Strategy out the window...recalculating, recalculating!!!

 

You know what? I'm so freaking tired from a late night for the MM and all the back to back events that this is my big strategy.
Clear all my fields for crops, although I do still have quite a few trees out in the glade and meadow. I did manage to plant and grow long term crops before the start so I got some good drops. Once I get enough seed I'm just going to stuff all the fields with mothers love (I'm even contemplating using CF's) and get some much needed sleep. Then I might be able to make sense out of what I actually need to do.

I have everything else just need to grow the crops and get the drops. Easier said than done in some cases.

I may just lay in a whole field of chickens and sell manure and skip the whole event. To tired to make rash decisions like that as this moment though.

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse... went back to harvest first crop of father's and 'forgot' to start my buffs before harvesting. Add me to the nap strategy party gang!

 

I have Check My Barn Stocks Some How I got 3 Paper Hearts I dunno if I do that part of the Event Quest or not wait and see. So Far got

• 165 Insect Guide

The Mother Love Crops will be slow to Build up But can only be Grown in Two Fields. Hopefully I have Eaten Enough CAC with PPP to Cover all Growing of Event Crops

 

T_rixy - LOL you reminded me of my old Garmin directions...whenever I made a wrong turn....it would say over & over (in that irritating voice) " recalculating, recalculating"

At this stage of life....I wish I could go back to preschool....why? Because...mid-afternoon someone nice would give me a snack, juice and say I needed to go take a nap. awwwww.........a nap sounds so nice right now!

Mandrake?! Seriously?! Luckily we have unlimited barns otherwise I would be sending the excess to BP HQ postage due. I have a multitude of moldy mandrake wasting away in the barn already, looking for a useful purpose. Anyone want to buy some mandrake cheap? It's organic!

This morning before leaving I had time to put the starter seeds out. Just got back and put them out in a full field of 2x2s. Next I'll switch to 1x1s. Of course the cloud row was used for MM and unusable for this event. I did use the WI, but only for one round. I've decided to only use Main and Meadow for this event. I'm using CAC and 1x1s. Should get roughly 1200 per harvest. That's 4+ harvest of the Mother's love and 8+ harvests of Father's love. I should be able to finish the event crops on day 3. I probably won't have all the drops until day 4. No big deal. 800 /6= 133.334 average magnifiers per day. I say that's a medium level challenge.

Why couldn't we have had the 10h crops last weekend when I couldn't get to the puter during the day? This weekend with nice weather and long crops... I'll have trouble coming up with an excuse not to do yard work. Aside from the pain in my back and arm...

 

the use of 2x2 plots here is for the preparation rounds only, since you start with 5 seeds only, so Farhana step 2 for using 2x2 plots on Bahama because she did not have the 200 seeds yet to use 1x1 plots, and after that I think she means to change to 1x1 plots, in the preparation rounds it is faster to build stock because the 2x2 plots take 1 seed only and give 5, while 1x1 takes 1 seed and give 2, and it is a common strategy by most player until they are able to plant the whole fields, then they switch to 1x1, and the use of CAC depends if you have some in stock or if you can make it, many players can't make it yet since it is a level 4 confectionery, and many can't buy it because it is expensive, my own strategy on round 2 of the preparation rounds is using comfort fields, but it does not suit all players if they do not have the cloud row and white innocence that reduce the time remarkably while using SG.

 

Good luck everyone, sleepyheads and all.....I'm in this category as I've worked all week and had only one day off last week end. I'm not so much a nap person, but I plan to be in bed early. I see everyone has different strategies and they all sound great given everyone's different circumstances. Thank you so much for all the different ideas as to how best to gain numbers in crops in little time. I did use WI, I needed the extra boost with work and all. I'm also using CAC and some starter 2 x 2 plots all buffed out. I hope to get enough to fill fields and then plant long term crop overnight for better drops. Nini and Sweet Dreams !!

 

LOL Suzee...I ran to go check how many mandrakes I have....over 86K...whoa...since I never use them...hadn't realized they had built up that high! I hope your pain in your arm & back subsides quickly.

I also used the WI and have been nuking the roses!!! I love, love, love the pink roses(mother's love)....oh wish we could keep these!!!

 

Strategy question regarding CAC on this one, I don't trust my own judgement at the moment. I've been running a CAC all day working on the new crops, I've got all fields cleared and have been growing other long term crops on the others. One to give me better drops and also to free up my time since I've really been attached to the computer the last couple of events.

I have 9 hours left on my CAC and will harvest all fields before it runs out. I then plan on laying in as much of the mothers love as I can, I'm thinking I will have two full fields and other long term crops for overnight. Instead of layering more CAC and using a PPP to extend my time does it not make more sense to simply let the CAC run out and apply another before I harvest tomorrow? That seems logical to me so I don't basically waste the 10 hours or so of CAC just sitting there while my crops grow.

If I was you, I'd probably take a new CAC before harvesting. I will let it run out now.

 

Yeah, like Mir and Silly said, I'd let it run out, just use a sticky to remind you to "eat" it before you harvest tomorrow!! I forget all the time without my sticky notes!

 

Thanks! That seemed like the answer but after a late night last night and full day of work today my brain feels like mush. Here's hoping everyone gets some rest with all the time these crops take to grow this event. Personally I'm happy for the slow pace of this one.
