    Hi Lily- She went to the ER and Dr said to apply ice for the swelling and hydrocortisone for the itching. We are either very lucky that she is not having a reaction or she may have been mistaken that it was a brown recluse. She is ok, the bite is no longer swollen, not hurting, not itching and no other symptoms. I am so very thankful...

    Thanks to all for your concern and support.:)

    I think we need to call a board meeting. pnp is already a member of the board. Do I have any other volunteers? (At the board meeting we will be eating that delicious Mother's Day cake pictured above! (Thanks Arielh for providing it. :) )

    I will gladly volunteer Cali! I made my Mom an apple pie today as it's her favorite. I made cookies for one of my sisters in law but I don't like the other one so she got nothing. xD

    I volunteer :D (You can't imagine how difficult was to bring the cake without taking a piece firstxD
    as you can see from the chocolate rose I couldn't resist to it, that's why it is the halfxD:p)

    It's just....NO. It was so gross. LOL A sweet gesture for sure, but not for me. They backed it up with a full day spa certificate though, so all is well!

    I do think that was a terrible way to treat chocolate! Thank you for letting us use your place for the meeting. Such a kind gesture. (Just get rid of the chocolate beer first. :wuerg: ) Sounds like we have enough board members for a quorum. :)

    Hmm, sounds like a scene from a movie. (A Christmas Story? Substitute the turkey for cake!)

    I guess I will just have to bake a replacement. It may not be quite as good, but I'm sure the board members will be happy to test it out. :)
