Screw up of the day

Harvested half a field of animals, used builder to delete them so I could put out breeding pens and then clicked that lovely green tick, deleting all the unfinished cookware forges and red donkeys .

One thought now constantly plagues my mind with the builder... GO to the left, click left, left, red button... on the left, left....

 

I just printed this on a sticky note and stuck it right in front on my laptop....

 

I've just accidentally deleted a breeding pen with chameleons in it...might well have been coloured chameleons too

 

Oh no, Shimmer that's awful. I know it's no consolation, but we've probably all done it.

 

playing on laptop and watching tv at same time. scrolling through animal feed had stopped on tortoise feed when something caught my eye on the tele. few minutes later look back at laptop and see tortoise for sale 400cc and go ape..... and start buying thinking its animal. lucky only bought 3 batches before brain clicked in and saw 10 pages of sales?!?! at least i have some feed now if i ever get a pen

 

All my pets ready (2 crows ,4 owls). Then harvest all my event crops and went to forum to check how much event crop need for event . Forgot to harvest my park. When I realize this my crow is gone. .waited till owls get ready then harvest my park

 

oh my, oh my, oooooh myyyyyy.... 200 SG gone in one click... please look away, I am going to cry now...

What can we understand about that? We all do the same mistakes

bwraven Did you try to reload the page after you clicked it? Sometimes if you reload fast the last action is canceled.

 

Arielh, I meant that I started the thread after I did exactly that mistake, see the first post

 

Is this true. If by mistake you click power feed in the seeder and instantly reload, the action will get cancelled ?



Screw of the day- Yesterday night by mistake, in my second farm, I donated all the event plant and was left with only 10. For a moment I thought I had to work it up from start. Then I saw that in green meadows I had sowed the event crops in the leftover 1x1 fields and they after some hours gave me 200 crops. Somehow saved.

After going through this thread, I feel that I am not alone in many things.

Arielh, I don't think it would work on reload. Reloading the page will most likely synchronize with the server and just confirm the action. There might be a slight chance to cancel the action by closing the page, but I suspect that would also sync before unloading the content of the flash. The most solid way would be to close the internet connection in the next few seconds after the bubu, however, in my case I believe that would not have worked either. I don't know if you've had a chance to notice a specific effect when harvesting breeding pastures manually vs. using the harvester, when you do it manually it takes about 10 sec. for the results to start appearing, that's most likely the default sync frequency, when you use the harvester the results appear near instantaneously, the same effect can be observed with the drops, which leads me to believe that when using the harvester the game synchronizes every time an action is performed, thus, the moment I clicked the SG button my precious puffy green poison was gone forever.

 

It has worked for me when I accidently put PF to pens. I haven't tried it when I use harvester helpers.

 

Hmm, that's good to know... Thanks for sharing. I did close the tab in 3-4 seconds of the bubu, alas it did not help.

 

I forgot that i had Funnel and potatoes growing and used all of super grow and half Suzy's super grow

 

To do the goose event on BW...
I calculated how many pens I wanted to purchase, milled the feed, and placed all the geese out at once in order to hand harvest to finish quickly rather than do them in stages. Filled the fields with other pens of animals that I needed to work on other quests...and promptly forgot to put out rabbit, sheep and pig. I find on days that I begin making mistakes, I just compound the problem and keep making them even with notes to remind me not to. *sigh*
