the sketchbooks need to be milled in the mill on your farm and/or baha. You need 50 event flowers, 5 markers (drop item) and 6 wood boards (to be found in your tool inventory). Milling time is 15 minutes per book.

I'm not sure what you mean promaster but CAC can be bought from the market (or Pumpkin Jam-this gives you an extra +1 crop per plot) and like Dienstag said, the sketchbooks are to be made in your Mill (either or both).
Good luck if you are joining in with the event! I've sent you a little something to help you out ;)

wow, drops have been horrendous today. all 4 fields set to comfort fields and event crop overnight, left over filled in with 1x1 and various 12-14 hrs crop. since harvesting comfort fields first thing this morning i have harvested all fields set to normal 1x1 with cac another 2 times. thats 12 fields for a grand total of 62 markers.

even though comfort fields take 4x longer the game doesnt take it into account for the drops? still thinks of it as a 4hr crop not a 16hr crop. overall average today 5 drops/field. 367 drops to go, still plenty of time, was just hoping to finish early.

Comfort fields usually yield twice as much drops as normal fields...

I used comfort fields and the event crops last night myself and I didn't get great drops out of it. In fact I planted one field with hazelnuts and the other two with the comfort fields. When I harvested I got 13 markers and 16 markers respectively for the two comfort fields but 31 markers for the hazelnuts.

Now I did get a bunch of the event crop taken care of so I'm not saying it was a bad plan just not the best way to get the needed drops. I will plant all long term crops tonight and see if I can bump up those drop numbers.

I believe that too Mir. I will also check it now that I will harvest.

Same here, comfort fields overnight did not produce enough drops to be worth it. Will do long term crops tonight instead.

Drops are horrendous for me also. Did long overnight crops before the start and am only at 34 markers so far and already halfway through day 2.

Comfort fields usually lead to a confusion regarding drops.

I use them extensively in my lower level farms and my experience tells that, event's or not, drops of any kind may be double of those a player could achieve using the same crop in its normal time but certainly does not compare to the drops obtained from same space CFs would use when dedicated to a crop that takes a similar total time deployed over 1x1s -also over 1x2s or 2x2s-.

In other words, you may get double the event's drops from using the event crop in CFs -12:48:00 for current event's crop, if watered-, but double of only what you would have obtained from same field using the same event crop deployed over 2x2s in the 03:12:00 it takes to be ready when watered.

Begonias, for instance, would take the same 12:48:00 -watered- and, in my experience, particularly if on 1x1s, drops counts of any kind are much much higher.

CFs are to be used only under special conditions (lack of time; poor harvesting frequency; with refinements coupled with other boosters -according to what many players claim: I've never dedicated any effort/resource to refinements -not even once- and I think I never will-; or getting very short-timed crops done without getting nuts by the insanely high harvesting frequency -like wheat, carrots or lettuce-). If you're in none of those categories, just stay away from them, especially if you usually struggle with drops in general and event's in particular.

PS: Whomever has gotten 150 or so event's drops as of this moment, only needs to be patient. There's nothing to worry about if you plan to use your farm normally all along the 4,5 remaining days.

Thanks Aluntino, for that info! I'm not stressing out, there is still a lot of time left before I would panic. I was just under the impression that using the CFs over night instead of another crop would help me keep getting the flowers AND drops. Sadly, this proved untrue on my farm. Now I know why!!

    Hi,
I tried the mix field again last night, <I did not have enough for a whole field> this one was a mix of spinach/red cabbage/broccoli and the drop was 23 markers, one field 1x1's the one behind the barn, now I am doing the field of em just spinach to see if the numbers are different.
I really need to read the notes per event I make for myself......-.- I would have made this one a mix too.

There was a Harvest bonus on my party wheel. I tried for it ... got a Highland cow. Not bad but really wanted to join your party! :)

I have the books, 55 markers and need only one more round of event flowers. Lots of time for a relaxed weekend (Birthday party BBQ) and long time crops. Using baha like regular will do the rest. Even time to recover, if mistakes turn up.

The drops are not very good as of yet but my main problem is the manure is all sold out in my market. I really need it to even have half a chance to get finished!

I put two Howie donuts on My Main and Green Meadow and one on the other two fields. Plus I have the living Legend Rune open at 28%, And am very low on the drops, I don't have any right now. On level 5 of the event...I think the drops will pick up in the next day or so.

I have been using all four fields to grow event flowers with 1x1 plots and CAC, but today I added ZAB and my drops have really improved. Zucchini Apple Bread is pricey, but well worth it if I can get this cloud row!
